Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Population, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), poverty, and economic growth in Makassar City. This research is quantitative research. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual time series starting from 2009 to 2018 wich are quantitative data. Data analysis was done using multiple linier regression statistical analysis with path analysis type. The results of this study show that population and GRDP have no significant influence on poverty and population and GDRP has no significant influence on economic growth and poverty has a significant influence on economic growth in Makassar City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of store atmosphere and business location on the purchasing decisions of consumer at Pattaya Thaitea Drink, in the District of Rappocini City of Makassar. This study is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were all pattaya thaitea drink consumers whose number could not be determined and a sample are 100 respondents who are consumers of pattaya thaitea drink. Data collection is done with observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regressions. The result of this study show that store atmosphere and business location has positive significant effect on puchasing decision of consumer at pattaya thaitea drink both partially and simultaneously. In this study the most, dominant influential variable is store atmosphere variable because it has a higher regression coefficient value than value of business location regression.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi manajemen operasional dalam meningkatkan kualitas produk sebelum dan sesudah pandemi, serta menganalisis bagaimana kebijakan tersebut membantu usaha bertahan di masa sulit. Objek penelitian ini adalah usaha UKM Es Cendol Sagu Tawaro, dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dianalisis berdasarkan teori manajemen operasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Es Cendol Sagu Tawaro terus berinovasi agar dapat beradaptasi dan Menyusun atau merancang kebijakan dalam manajemen operasionalnya untuk mengikuti perkembangan pasar dan ekonomi, sehingga perusahaan ini dapat bertahan walau menghadapi tantangan akibat Covid-19.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan inovasi bisnis pada wali murid yang juga berperan sebagai pengelola Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di TK Pertiwi DWP Setda Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini difokuskan pada penyuluhan yang mendalam tentang teknik-teknik inovasi aplikatif, pemasaran digital, serta manajemen keuangan UMKM yang efektif. Dalam rangka meningkatkan daya saing usaha, peserta diberikan pemahaman teoritis dan praktis mengenai berbagai strategi inovatif yang dapat diterapkan dalam bisnis mereka, seperti pengembangan produk berbasis teknologi, pemanfaatan platform digital untuk pemasaran, dan pengelolaan keuangan yang efisien untuk memperkuat struktur usaha. Program ini bertujuan untuk membantu peserta dalam mengidentifikasi tantangan yang mereka hadapi, serta memberi mereka keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk menciptakan solusi yang berbasis pada pendekatan inovatif dan terukur. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan peserta dalam mengimplementasikan teknik-teknik inovasi tersebut, yang terukur melalui survei dan wawancara. Dengan demikian, diharapkan peserta dapat menerapkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh untuk mengembangkan dan memperkuat daya saing UMKM mereka, serta berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan perekonomian lokal.

Abstract

The TOEFL preparation training program conducted for students aimed to enhance their proficiency in key areas of TOEFL, with a particular focus on grammar and structure. The training utilized a pretest-posttest design, where a pretest was administered to assess students' initial skills, followed by targeted lessons on basic grammar concepts, sentence structure, the use of "to be," and prepositions. The program concluded with a posttest to evaluate improvements. Results showed a significant increase in students' average scores, from 61 on the pretest to 82 on the posttest, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training. The use of interactive exercises, practical applications, and real-time feedback contributed to the overall success of the program. This community service initiative not only improved students' TOEFL performance but also provided them with essential tools for academic and professional success.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of appraisers in determining the pawn value, the objectives of the appraisal process, vigilance in asset valuation, and the challenges faced by appraisers in performing their duties. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through a literature study. The data sources used are secondary data, including asset appraisal theories, previous studies, and applicable regulations in the pawn industry. The data analysis technique is conducted descriptively to systematically and accurately describe the existing conditions. The findings indicate that asset appraisal in the pawn industry faces various challenges, such as market price fluctuations, the risk of manipulation, and economic uncertainty. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance appraisers' competencies, implement stricter supervision systems, and utilize technology in the valuation process to improve transparency and work efficiency. By understanding the roles and challenges faced, the pawn industry can develop better strategies to manage risks and improve appraisal accuracy. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh influencer marketing dan viral marketing terhadap brand engagement dalam industri fashion di platform TikTok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan survei, serta analisis regresi linier berganda dan bantuan koefisien determinasi dengan software SPSS ver 30 untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel independen dan dependen. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi, ditemukan bahwa influencer marketing dan viral marketing memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand engagement. Fenomena utama yang terungkap adalah bahwa peningkatan penggunaan influencer marketing dan viral marketing di TikTok dapat memperkuat keterlibatan pengguna dengan brand, terutama dalam konteks industri fashion yang sangat visual dan berbasis tren. Implikasi teoritis dari hasil penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penerapan strategi pemasaran digital yang melibatkan influencer dan viral marketing untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan merek. Produk atau merek harus mempertimbangkan untuk memanfaatkan influencer dan konten yang dapat dengan cepat menyebar di media sosial untuk memperluas jangkauan dan interaksi dengan konsumen.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of ISO 31000:2018 as a strategic framework for risk management at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan during the period 2020-2023. ISO 31000:2018 provides guidelines for designing and managing risks systematically, which is crucial for organizations managing social security funds like BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. This research employs a qualitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual integrated reports of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan during the study period. The findings indicate that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has successfully identified, analyzed, and managed risks more effectively through the implementation of ISO 31000:2018. This is reflected in the improved management of various risk categories, including strategic risk, market risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk, reputational risk, information technology risk, legal risk, and compliance risk. Additionally, the increase in the risk maturity value from 2.82 in 2020 to 3.94 in 2023 indicates that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has become more mature in its risk management practices. This study also provides recommendations for future research, such as in-depth analysis of specific risk categories and the use of new technologies in risk management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Value, E-WOM (Electronic Word of Mouth), and Perceived Ease of Use on purchasing decisions of beauty products on TikTok Shop, specifically among Generation Z in Makassar. Using a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and survey, data was collected through questionnaires from 105 respondents, TikTok users in Makassar who have purchased beauty products on the platform. The findings reveal that all three factors have a significant positive impact on purchasing decisions. High Perceived Value encourages purchases as consumers feel the product is worth the price. E-WOM, originating from recommendations by other users, enhances trust and purchase interest. Meanwhile, Perceived Ease of Use, which includes ease of transaction, contributes to consumer comfort while shopping. Overall, these three factors work together to create a positive shopping experience and influence purchasing decisions for beauty products on TikTok Shop.
