The total Muslimpopulation is 209.12 million people or 87% of the total 269 million people with a total poor population of 9.41% or 25.14 million people. In 2018 the amount of zakat collected was as much as Rp. 8.100 billion with a potential of Rp 217 Trillion. Poverty is a problem that seizes the attention of the government every year. With the majority of the Islamic population, zakat is one solution to reduce poverty. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential for poverty alleviation with zakat and the opportunity for Indonesia to become the center of Islamic economics. The method used is the study of literature, namely data collection techniques by conducting a study of a review of books, literature, notes, and journals that are in accordance with the research objectives. Basically, zakat aside from being a form of obedience to God is also a social concern. The concept of zakat in Islam is mandatory and is the identity and characteristics of Islamic economics that distinguish it from conventional economic systems. Zakat is an Islamic economic joint, which if implemented properly, will have a significant economic impact. Through proper, transparent, and professional distribution zakat should be an alternative in alleviating poverty in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kadirun Yahya is a figure in the world of education and started to establish and manage non-formal educational institutions, namely an educational institution and process that combines or integrates science and religion, between academic and spiritual, and between worldly and ukhrawi life. The non-formal educational institutions that were established became the forerunners to establish several formal educational institutions consisting of Kindergarten, Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), to Senior High School (SMU), Vocational High School (SMK). This formal educational institution under the auspices of Panca Budi College is managed professionally and with pure management. Likewise with the learning tools, gradually leading to modern learning devices that are adapted to multimedia and digital developments. Based on the research results, it can be seen from the criteria regarding the existence of non-formal education, slightly different from the formal education institutions established by Kadirun Yahya. In fact, the non-formal educational institutions that he founded tend to prepare for the afterlife, not to prepare a ready-made workforce. But what is unique is that he still facilitates his students to get formal education at school and even become a bachelor. The non-formal educational institutions that have been established by Kadirun Yahya are as follows: First, Houses of Worship in the form of Surau-Surau. The purpose of this surau-surau was established as a place to do and practice dhikrullah and mental spiritual training center training (i'tikaf / suluk). Second, the Youth Generation. The youth development activities carried out by Kadirun Yahya are placed in various existing surau. This activity is an effort to help underprivileged youth. They are given guidance in the form of talent development activities, while still carrying out worship, as well as guarding the mosque where they are stationed. Keywords: Educational Institutions, Modern Sufism, Education

Abstract

Some of us are not aware of the importance of investment and do not need to be done. Most of them prefer to save their money in a bank or have a deposit in a bank. They worry that the results obtained are not what they want and they are looking for sure and safe. In fact, if we make the right investment, we will get very satisfying results. There are so many reasons why we need to invest including avoiding inflation, earning huge profits, for the future and many more. But in Islam investment it self is basically an active Islamic economic activity. Because in Islam the property has a limit or if it reaches the threshold of the treasure there is zakat, or at least the property is offered. As the Qur'an recommends "Every piece of your treasure there is also a part of other people who are entitled to receive it". Investment from a social perspective is based more on helping people who have capital but cannot manage and run their businesses. And in the concept of Islamic investment based on the value of monotheism, fair wal ihsan, endeavor, and obligations. This study aims to look at the effect of investment in the future economy and analyze some of the points in investment. This study examines the mechanism of investment and the effect of investment on the future economy. By using comparative theories whether investment has a positive and significant effect on the Indonesian economy.

Abstract

Human civilization is strongly intertwind (interdependent) with the spoken language. A pride of a nation is within its language. A nation will be honored due to its language and vice versa. As Hopkyns says (2017) As English now occupies an important position in many education systems around the world, which is certainly the case in the Gulf Cooperate Council (GCC) states, it has become the global academic lingua franca (Jenkins, 2014, p. 10) or lingua academica (Phillipson, 2008) and a high stakes gatekeeper of educational and social success (Al-Mahrooqi Denman, 2015, p. 3). In post-modern world (information age) English is considered as an edicational language and leave other language as a second reference. Meanwhile at the other half of the world, Arabic nations only seen as sublatern under the influence of super-nation. Even though, as we know since 1950 middle east has become the central of liquid energy for the world, and the biggest militer-coalition is held by the Arabic-speaker nations known as Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Historicaly speaking, the term Dark Age is correlatively connected to Golden Age in eastern term despite their contribution to the modern world.
