Abstract

PROVINSI KALIMANTAN BARAT dan Nahak Marta Abuk, Innocentia. 2022. The purpose of conducting this research is describing the existence of Likurai dance. The study case is about the development and the starting point of the existence of Likurai traditional dance of Belu Tribe in Bhakti Jaya Village, district of Meliau, the regency of Sanggau, West Kalimantan Province. Descriptive methodology in a form of qualitative research and using an anthropology approach. The sources of data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation, with key sources namely, Mr. Dominikus Nahak, Mr. Muhammad Iwanie and Miss Ursula Uluk. Techniques to test validity using extension of observation and Triangulating of compiled data sources was systematically analyzed. Likurai dance is a traditional dance that was originally came from a village called Kereana, Botin Leobele district, the regency of Malaka, East Nusa Tenggara. The dance was introduced by a transmigrant society that was migrated from East Nusa Tenggara to Bhakti Jaya Village, the district of Meliau, Sanggau regency, West Kalimantan in the year of 1992. The dance started to develop and became well-known since 1998 until 2019. The uniformity of the transmigrant society is one of the main reasons behind the sustainability of Likurai dance in Bhakti Jaya Village. On the other, there is a risk that this traditional dance would be fading away due to the lack of the dance personnel and lack of interest in the younger generation as well as lack of assistance and motivation from the local government is feared to be an obstacle to the development of Likurai Dance.

Abstract

 This study aims to find out how the school principal's visionary leadership improves organizational culture in SMA Negeri 3 Bengkayang. Specifically about visionary leadership strategies, innovations by school principals, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in improving organizational culture.This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a case study approach. The research subjects were 4 participants. Principal 1 man aged 47 years; teacher 1 woman aged 36 years; administrative staff 1 woman aged 31 years; student 1 male aged 17 years.Data collection techniques used were interviews, direct observation, and retrieval of several documents using interview guides, observation guides, and documents.The conclusions from this study are 1) the school principal's visionary leadership strategy in improving organizational culture shows good results. 2) innovation by school principals in improving organizational culture by building communication with a family approach, providing motivation and appreciation for each result achieved, giving freedom to innovate and building creativity, etc. 3) the supporting factors for visionary leadership are having a wise attitude, setting an example, respecting each other, and strengthening a sense of kinship. The inhibiting factor is the difference in the character of the members of the organization. There is still ego and selfishness.The implication of the results of this study is that visionary leadership implemented by school principals is successful in improving organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and document the form of the presentation of Persembahan Dance in Ranai City, Natuna Regency, Riau Archipelago in the form of writing, pictures, and videos. The background of the research is the problem of how the form of Persembahan Melayu Dance. This study used descriptive method with qualitative research and choreographic approach. The technique of data collection used in this research are observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation studies. The data validation testing used are the extension of observations and triangulation source. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the form of Persembahan Melayu Dance is as follows: Persembahan Melayu Dance is a welcoming dance for guests of honor or opening dance at various events. There are 11 movements of Persembahan Melayu Dance which are initial movement, the variety of junjung tepak to the variety of opening greeting, the middle movement, the variety of meracik pinang to the variety of sari beni, and the final movement, the variety of close greeting. This dance is only danced by the female dancer and it must be an odd number, also there are six floor patterns. Musical instruments used are drum, violin, accordion, and it do not use vocal. The make-up used is realist make-up. The make-up used is realist make-up, the clothes used are clothes for brackets, skirts, tapeh cloth, obi, sebai and use andam head accessories, crowns, Malay editing, jurai, tudung mantu, and bun. Also, this dance uses tepak sirih as the property.

Abstract

The problem in this study is how to apply the evaluation of physical education learning during the COVID-19 pandemic mass which was carried out online by teachers at SMPNs throughout the city of Pontianak. This study aims to determine the mechanism for assessing student learning outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, the sample of this research is the teachers of Physical Education, Sports and Health. In this study using a questionnaire on google form about summative and formative assessments by teachers of Physical Education, Sports and Health. The results of this study indicate that 49% of teachers stated that they could assess the learning progress of students, while 51% of teachers stated that they could not assess the learning progress of students in online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to find out why academic self-efficacy is low in online learning for students. The method used is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the data sources were two class VII students of SMPN 7 Sui Raya. The data collection techniques used in the research were interviews and closed questionnaires and the data collection tools were the researchers themselves. Based on the results of the research, the two research subjects had low academic self-efficacy in online learning. (1) the characteristics of students include not being confident in their abilities, rarely participating in online learning, not being able to do the tasks given, and not understanding the material presented, (2) Factors that influence low academic self-efficacy include assignments given too much, give up easily, and lack self-confidence, (3) The impact of low academic self-efficacy includes dizziness and stress, getting reprimanded, missing material/lessons, getting low grades, and not meeting the grade promotion criteria, (4) The counseling teacher's efforts to increase academic self-efficacy include individual counseling and home visits. It was concluded from the two research subjects that the first dominant subject showed the factors that influenced his low academic self-efficacy indicated by his lack of confidence in his ability to do excessive assignments while the second subject dominantly showed feelings of insecurity in dealing with problems when learning online.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form of cooperation that occurs between Madurese, Malay, and Javanese ethnicities in Sungai Asam Village, Sungai Raya District. The problem in this study is: how is the form of gotong royong and bargaining between Madurese, Malay, and Javanese ethnicities in Sungai Asam Village, Sungai Raya District? The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies. Data collection tools are observation guides, interview guides, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The findings of this study demonstrate that cooperation between Madurese, Malay, and Javanese ethnicities in Sungai Asam Village, Sungai Raya District, is consistent with the theories of James D. Thompson and William J. McEwen. This can be seen from the existence of Gotong Royong cooperation activities, namely road repair activities, mosque renovations, cleaning the environment, and helping in weddings and mourning events. Meanwhile, the bargaining cooperation that occurs involves bargaining prices between sellers and buyers of food goods and other goods needed by the local community. In addition, there is cooperation between financiers and vegetable managers, money exchange, and plantation land development services in Sungai Asam Village, Sungai Raya District.

Abstract

The research describes the implementation of the thematic learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic and the teacher's constraints on implementing the thematic learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method approach. Research participants acted as data sources, namely class V B thematic teachers. The research instrument was a human instrument, namely researchers. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is the Miles And Huberman model. The results of the research show that the implementation of the thematic learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out by teachers with online distance learning for fifth grade students using the WhatsApp application that was going quite well. The implementation of the thematic learning process during the pandemic with online distance learning for fifth grade students of North Pontianak 05 Public Elementary School, namely, the teacher makes online lesson plans, prepares teaching materials/materials, the teacher uses the assignment method, the teacher approaches students, teacher readiness, availability of facilities and infrastructure is sufficient to support learning that is carried out online, in the form of evaluation in online learning. In the implementation of the thematic learning process during the pandemic, teachers also experienced problems, while the obstacles experienced by teachers in implementing the thematic learning process with online distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely, during the process of delivering material, learning, the process of interaction with students in the learning process, constraints during evaluation and learning objectives, and constraints when managing teaching materials.

Abstract

This study "the effect of learning motivation and family socio-economic conditions on learning outcomes of class XI IPS Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Kubu Raya" This research was conducted using a descriptive method using a quantitative approach. The research technique used is direct communication techniques and documentary study techniques with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and documentation. based on R Square shows that the learning motivation and social economic condition of the students' families affect the learning outcomes of class XI IPS at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Kubu Raya by 1.31% with a t-count value of 6.125 and a significance value (sig). A total of 0,000. The value of t count (6.152) t table (1.708) it can be stated that the hypothesis test Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.)

Abstract

This research aims to find out objectively about the Structure and Function of Malay Folklore of Simpang Hilir District of North Kayong Regency. This research uses a structural approach. The research method used is descriptive with qualitative research forms. The source of this research data is data that comes from speakers. While the data in this study is the folklore "Meriam Bujang Koreng, Riye Rupe, Ujang Mali Budiman". Implementation of research results on Indonesian learning in the form of quotations in the form of words, phrases, clauses, or sentences. The results of research into folklore are as follows. First, the character and characterization in folklore. Both events take place in folklore. The three lines in folklore. The four mandates contained in folklore. The fifth describes the function of folklore for people's lives. In addition, the results of this study can also be used as learning materials for even-sized X classes in the 2013 curriculum. With Basic Basic Competence (KD) 3.7 Identify the values and content contained in folklore (hikyat) both oral and written. 4.7 Retelling the contents of folklore (hikayata) heard or read.

Abstract

This research background was based on the researcher's interest when watching the performance of traditional ceremonial in Tumbang Titi Sub-District Ketapang District. Seeing from the part of the process in Tentobus traditional ceremony, one of them was Tari Besogak. Tari Besogak has meanings in the dance and it contained honorable value of life between the Dayak Pesaguan society. In the beginning, there were many people of Dayak Pesaguan in Tumbang Titi Sub-District that believe Tari Besogak was only a mere show. Therefore, this research intended to know the function of Tari Besogak in Tentobus traditional ceremony of Dayak Pesaguan in Tumbang Titi Sub-District Ketapang District. This research was using qualitative research method using anthropology approach. The data collection technique was interview and documentation study. Tentobus ceremony functioned as bad reinforcements rejection and redemption that had been done in the past. Based on the results of this researcher, it could be concluded that the function of Tari Besogak was as one of ceremony process to reject bad reinforcements. Tari Besogak as a ceremonial dance had characteristics such as the chosen dancers, offerings, outfits, place, and time that had been decided.
