Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran dikelas pemilihan media pembelajaran perlu diperhatikan karena media pembelajaran sangat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa terutama dalam mata pelajaran matematika atau numerasi agar siswa tidak mudah bosan dengan dunia angka. Adapun media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa yaitu Aplikasi Aksi Sekolah SD. Aplikasi Aksi Sekolah SD merupakan aplikasi Assesment Kompetensi Siswa Indonesia Sekolah Dasar yang diciptakan oleh Puspendik Balitbang-Kemendikbud salah satu bentuk program pemerintah yaitu Merdeka Belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yang memiliki tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan numerasi siswa sebelum dan sesudah  menjawab tes numerasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi Aksi Sekolah SD, lalu cara guru dalam membimbing siswa saat menjawab test numerasi dengan menggunakan Aplikasi Aksi  Sekolah SD dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa, serta respon siswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Aksi Sekolah SD? Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Cileungsi 01, Kab.Ciawi, Bogor yang ditunjukkan pada siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan tes, observasi serta angket. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas III masih dikategorikan rendah dikarenakan daya inget siswa lemah namun setelah dilakukan proses bimbingan dengan siswa menggunakan Aplikasi Aksi serta melakukan post tes pada aplikasi tersebut, maka hasilnya menunjukkan kemampuan numerasi siswa mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dari kemampuan rendah menjadi kemampuan sedang ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata siswa pada pre tes mencapai 49,28% sedangkan di post tes mencapai 82,64% serta siswa sangat antusias dalam penggunaan aplikasi tersebut sehingga mereka bisa merasakan manfaat dari penggunaan kecanggihan teknologi dalam lingkup sekolah.

Abstract

Pendidikan bersaingan dengan era globalisasi yang semakin melonjak dengan seiring berkembangnya jaman. Lost learning yang tidak dapat dihindari akibat pandemi selama dua tahun belajar jarak jauh tanpa didampingi oleh guru secara langsung. Penggunaan sosial media yang kurang baik mengakibatkan hilangnya budaya sendiri dengan meminati budaya barat. Akbat dari pengaruh tersebut banyak siswa yang kurang memahami pembelajaran yang ada disekolah terutama matematika, oleh karena itu perlu ada inovasi yang melibatkan kedua unsur permasalahan tersebut yaitu etnomatematika dengan media pembelajaran Powerpoint interaktif. Dari keresahan inilah peneliti memiliki tujuan untuk mengedukasi siswa khususnya kelas 3 SDN Lialang agar lebih mencintai budaya dan belajar matematika dengan mudah. Peneliti membuat media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif yang telah diintegrasikan dengan budaya Banten Lama yaitu Benteng Speelwijk dan matematika materi pengukuran. Metode yang digunakan yaitu etnografi, metode ini digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yang digunkan diantaranya observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Setelah seluruh data terkumpul dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang sudah dilakukan peneliti menggunakan model ADDIE untuk merancang media pembelajaran, model ADDIE ini memiliki lima tahap diantaranya (analisis, desain, development/pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi). Setelah media pembelajaran selesai dirancang dan siap digunakan maka peneliti melakukan uji coba media dikelas 3 SDN Lialang dengan kelayakan perangkat media penbelajaran, Handout dan RPP, pada tahap ini peneliti merancang sesuai dengan aspek kelayakan dari kedua perangkat tersebut dan dinilai oleh validator sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media tersebut layak digunakan untuk merancang motivasi agar rajin belajar.

Abstract

Understanding mathematical concepts is a basic thing that students need to master, so teachers must provide strong basic concepts so that students can understand mathematics completely. Based on the results of observations made in class II at the State Elementary School of Semanan 14 Petang, students still have difficulty understanding the material about flat shapes, especially in recognizing the shape of flat shapes. In addition, the evaluation media used is not culture-based. This became the basis for researchers to improve digital puzzle-based flat shape evaluation media by combining Lebak Banten batik culture. This research aims to create evaluation media based on the local wisdom of Lebak Banten to motivate students to study flat building material. The ethnographic method was used to collect information related to the Batik culture of Lebak Banten. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations and documentation studies. Furthermore, researchers use the ADDIE model to improve evaluation media at this level. The stages carried out were analysis, design, development, implementation, the researcher carried out media experiments in class II at the State Elementary School of Semanan 14 Petang and in the evaluation stage, the researcher reflected on the implications and corrections of the evaluation media. The results of this research are Lesson Plans and Two-Dimentional Figure evaluation media based on the Lebak Banten Batik Puzzle which are suitable for use.

Abstract

Reading is a process carried out and utilized by readers to obtain messages that the writer wants to convey through written language. Reading is one of the four aspects of language skills which is the main door to entry into knowledge. In this study, the process of beginning reading for second grade elementary school students will be explained. The approach taken in this research was qualitative using the Shared Reading method. The qualitative approach was specifically chosen by the researcher to consider the data sources that will be processed and the research methods that will be used through analysis of a document in the form of a learning video. In this research, content analysis was chosen as the method used, where the researcher carried out several stages in processing the data, including selecting the data, then separating and organising the data to be used, then explaining it by describing the data, until making a conclusion at the end. The results of research in video analysis show that there are three stages of learning in reading together, namely exploration, discovery and independence. The following are detailed data findings based on analysis of three learning videos using the Shared Reading method: The first video contains 9 learning steps with 1 exploration activity, 3 discovery activities and 5 independent activities, the second video contains 8 learning steps with 1 exploration activity, 4 discovery activities , and 3 independent activities, then the third video contains 4 learning steps with 2 exploration activities, 1 discovery activity, and an independent activity. Thus, researchers can conclude that beginning reading in class II elementary school students can use the method of reading together through Big Book media.

Abstract

This research is based on something that is often overlooked in learning, one of which is when writing an essay, which is not paying close attention to the use of capital letters. This research aims to understand the use of capital letters in students' descriptive essays and to find appropriate teaching materials to anticipate errors in the use of capital letters. The approach used in this study is synchronous, for the research method the researcher uses the method of language error analysis which in collecting data the researcher uses a technique, namely document analysis techniques. Researchers found 5 bad uses of capital letters, namely capital letters are used as an escort for the first letter at the beginning of a sentence, capital letters are the first letters in an element of a human name, one of which is nicknames, this capital letter is used as the first letter of the names of months, years, and days. Holidays and other major holidays, capital letters are used for the first letter of geographic names, capital letters are used as the first letters in an historical name event. From the results of an analysis of student descriptions, it was found that 21 errors in the use of capital letters were found, one of which was 9 in the use of capital letters as the main letter at the beginning of the sentence, 6 errors in the use of capital letters as the main letter of the elements of naming people including designations, 2 errors in the use of capital letters used as the main letter of the name of the month, day, year, big day or holiday, 3 errors in the use of capital letters used for the first letter of geographic naming, 1 error in the use of this letter is used as the main letter of the event and naming elements in history. Furthermore, a material in learning is made, namely giving LKS to students, namely showing a description essay that does not use capital letters very well.

Abstract

The underlying point of this research is that when done learning in the classroom is still oriented to the teacher (teacher centered learning), the teacher explains more material to students and after that gives tasks to be done so that thay do not talk much and roam in the classroom. This will make the child more passive when learning in the classroom. Limited knowledge that teachers have becomes a major factor, making it difficult for teachers to create interesting learning and invove student activities, therefore, this study wanats to review the use of picture and picture models during the IPS learning process to develop students’ learning activities and interests. The research design used during this study uses the KemmisMC. Taggart Class Action Research (CAR) method. This research takes place starting from the pre-action stage and the stage of implementation of action, namely cycle I and cycle II whice consists of 4 stages, namely the stage of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. To obtain data in the study, researchers used observation techniques, interviews, tests and documentation. Data found based on the result of the percentage of student activity levels during cycle I which is 49,9% also during cycle II, there was an increase of 88,3% with the category of interest. So in this study researchers councluded that the uses of picture and picture learning models on IPS subjects found an increase in activity as well as the learning interests of grade IV students.

Abstract

In the implementation of a lesson, there are activities to transfer knowledge between teachers and students. During the learning process, teachers should not only provide material but must develop and prepare teaching materials. In Indonesian learning, there are skills that students must master such as writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills. Therefore, teaching materials are needed to train students to acquire these skills. In reality, teachers only use teaching materials available from package books and thematic books provided by the government. Teachers hope that there will be more varied teaching materials to better support learning and more detailed material. This study aims to analyse the content of storylines used later as teaching materials more varied and more detailed material so that students are more interested in understanding the material taught. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. Then the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, various interrelated pieces of events have been found which are referred to as storylines. Then based on the time sequence, 29 subtitles use 7 forward flow patterns and 1 sub-heading whose presenter uses 1 mixed flow pattern. This proves that the forward plot is the dominant plot used in the fairy tale book. Based on the results of the analysis in the fairy tale book, it can be concluded that learning Indonesian using appropriate teaching materials can provide the latest alternative teaching materials.

Abstract

Learning cannot be separated from teacher teaching methods and models. This research was motivated by the use of learning models in social studies classes that are still not effective, therefore making the classroom environment less conducive. Learning activities, especially social studies, must be fun to contain historical value for students. For elementary school students, form a playful lesson model so that it is easy to understand and apply to life. The coveted model to achieve the goal of learning social studies is the Rank 1 game model. The objectives to be achieved in this study must be identified, analyzed and explained 1) how the implementation of the Ranking 1 game as a fifth-grade social studies learning model at the State Elementary School of Sajira 01, 2) improve student learning outcomes through the Ranking 1 Game as a fifth-grade social studies learning model in Elementary School. This research is qualitative research with classroom action research (CAR). The procedure in this study uses the theory developed by Kemmis and McTaggart. This study showed significant changes in student learning outcomes, indicated by increased student engagement with learning activities and increased academic performance, as evidenced by test scores. The average value obtained in the first cycle of learning outcomes was 83.7 and increased to 96.3 in the second cycle. Therefore, the researcher recommends the application of the Ranking 1 game model as an alternative that provides a more meaningful learning experience, especially when learning social studies subjects.

Abstract

Students' self-confidence needs to be owned by students to be able to actualize themselves. Confident students tend to be active in the learning process, while less confident students tend to be passive in the learning process. This study aims to describe the self-confidence of the students of the State Elementary School of Gunungdatar, Cimanuk District, Pandeglang Regency through the role-play learning method and describe the causes of students being confident and not confident. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of narrative inquiry. The research subjects in this study were sixth-grade students at the State Elementary School of Gunungdatar. The data collection in this research applies observation, interview, and documentation techniques in the form of field notes, inter-research text, and storytelling. The resulting data were analyzed by means of codification and restoration. This research reveals that the things that make students confident are fun and interesting learning situations and things that cause students not to be confident are students do not have confidence in their abilities. When appointed by the teacher and become the center of attention of their friends, it makes them not confident to show their learning abilities. Through the learning process using the role-play method, it can be seen that students begin to dare to express themselves during the learning process, dare to express opinions, dare to ask questions, and respect and correct each other if their friends do something wrong.

Abstract

Imperative sentences are sentences that are intended for someone to do something according to the will of the person who gave the order. Apart from books and instructional texts that can be used to convey imperative sentences, there are other sources such as novels. This study intends to identify how imperative sentences are used in the novel Serial Bumi which is then used as learning material for writing instructional texts in the form of videos for fourth grade elementary school students. The type of technique and method used in this research is a qualitative approach with content analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 140 imperative sentences which are divided into 12 types of imperative sentences in the novel Serial Bumi, namely imperative sentences of commands, orders, requests, urges, persuasion, appeals, requests, invitations, permits, prohibitions and hopes. Imperative sentences are classified from subtle to harsh statements. Hard commands usually end with an exclamation point, while soft commands end with an exclamation point but with a period. From the results of the analysis, it can be used in the manufacture of instructional text instruction materials for fourth grade elementary school students, indicating that the learning materials are writing.
