Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze educational video content on the YouTube platform. This study aims to examine and describe educational video content on the Natural Resources YouTube platform. The YouTube platform is often used as a source for uploading educational content in the form of learning videos and also learning videos that are still on the YouTube platform are often used as a teacher's learning media, but the learning content on videos has not been demonstrated. be possible. To assess the reliability of learning films, it is necessary to analyze learning videos on the YouTube platform, using a qualitative approach using content analysis research methods. In particular, data collection is carried out through the YouTube platform using the key term "Class IV Social Science Learning Natural Resources Materials", the video is then analyzed from the established standards (BSNP). Using aspects of the feasibility of material content, presentation, language graphics. The results of the study analyzed 12 social studies learning videos on YouTube according to the channel, using a homogeneous presentation of content aspects as much as 87.7% with a very decent category, homogeneous -homogeneous presentation percentage as much as 85% included in the very feasible category, the percentage of language in homogeneous learning videos as much as 78, 7% with a decent category, homogeneous presentation on learning video learning videos as much as 98.6% is included in the very feasible category. These four criteria indicate that social studies learning videos are valuable as teaching tools.

Abstract

Students' ability in program solving in math subjects is still low, this is based on results of the 1st semester of 2021 math test at SDN Cilegon 04. Existing research has a goal that is (1) Knowing the problem-solving skills of grade IV students through problem-based learning (PBL) on math learning in the experimental class (2) Knowing the problem-solving skills of grade IV students through conventional learning in a control class mathematics (3) Knowing the existence or absence of improved problem-solving skills of grade IV student through problem-based learning in mathematics learning in the experimental class. In this case, existing research can use the experimental method, true experimental type pre-test, and post-test, existing sampling methods can be taken with a random sampling cluster method so that existing students number 54 students and consist of 27 students as experiments and 27 students’ controls. The result of this study can be seen that (1) there is a difference in grades with a difference of 24,54 between the pre-test and post-test in terms of students' learning habits by PBL in experimental class math learning, (2) learning results using conventional methods in math subjects obtained pre-test and post-test differences with an average of 10,18 in the control class, (3) through the PBL learning methods of mathematics subjects in the experimental class there is an increase in solving a problem with the comparison of the result between the experimental class and the control class the difference between two is 6,943 and the Sig (2 tailed) value obtained is 0,0000,05. These results show that there is a significant impact of PBL learning on students' problem-solving abilities and these results can be used as a basis for good teacher learning practices in subsequent classes.

Abstract

Attitude education in this day and age is very important because attitudes are formed around the environment. Social Science subjects teach that a good attitude of responsibility certainly needs to be applied in everyday life, but the attitude is not realized properly. This approach to research uses qualitative approaches and the methods used are case study methods. Research techniques in the form of data collection techniques and data analysis techniques, data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis techniques to compile data findings are by way of the first 3 flows of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The instruments used are observation and interview. From the results of the research conducted, it was obtained that from 13 students of fifth grade, 5 students lacked the attitude of responsibility in the classroom and learning Social Sciences, during the learning process students showed that, the attitude of responsibility was less applied, namely the lack of attitude of responsibility towards the given task, the lack of responsibility towards the time of the collection of tasks,  The absence of creative ideas during learning, lack of socialization of responsibility by teachers. The measures implemented are also less maximal, namely the lack of introduction to the attitude of responsibility, the drive to be responsible, and praise for responsibility. The obstacles experienced are the character of students, different backgrounds, different abilities, understanding of attitudes of responsibility, and lack of care for parents and students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education is a conscious effort to prepare students through guidance, teaching and/or training activities for their roles in the future. Mathematics is the science that studies quantity, structure, spatial shapes, and changes in numbers. Mathematics has concepts that are easier to understand if they are concrete, then they can be directed to the semi-concrete stage and finally mathematics can be understood abstractly by students. In this research, researchers used a qualitative approach as a research procedure that produces descriptive data, and quantitative research to collect, analyze and display data in numerical rather than narrative form. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) on class II students at the State Elementary School of Kareo. In this research, it was found that a problem occurred, namely when teaching, the researcher found a problem, namely that there were deficiencies in students' mathematics learning outcomes in class II which showed that there were many students whose scores did not reach the standard (65). This happened because at that time the researcher as a teacher taught without the media and props used in learning and the lecture method was still used at the stage of understanding the concept of multiplication. Therefore, the way to overcome this is by using traditional game media such as Congklak. The instruments in the research are guide sheets for student tests, sheets for student observations, sheets for teacher observations. The research results show an increase in student learning outcomes. This increase was shown in the pre-cycle students who completed 31%, cycle I as much as 52% and cycle II as much as 83%.

Abstract

Learning science is often considered difficult by students because the way of teaching it tends to be rote, not discovery. Especially in a pandemic situation like this that demands independent learning due to social restrictions. For this reason, educators need to have the ability to understand students' learning experiences and reflect on them as an effort to diagnose learning difficulties or obstacles. Related to that, this research applies narrative inquiry (narrative research). In narrative research, the researcher attempts to describe the life situations of several individual students and reflect on these experiences as diagnostic of their learning difficulties. Researchers made observations, made field notes and conducted interviews. The collected data is then analyzed and presented in a narrative manner by taking into account the situational interactions that are revealed in it. Based on the data analysis, the researcher found several things that influenced the students' learning difficulties. In general, there are several diagnostic causative factors that come from within students, including: 1) emotional mental condition; 2) reactive way of thinking; 3) lack of awareness; and 4) low interest in learning. Meanwhile, several factors from outside the students include: 1) lack of parental attention; 2) inconducive home atmosphere; 3) unsupportive environmental conditions; 4) social media influence; 5) unattractive and monotonous teaching methods; as well as 6) incomplete learning facilities. Efforts to overcome learning difficulties need to pay attention to these two aspects. Educators need to have the ability to understand students' learning experiences and design learning strategies that suit their characteristics. Apart from that, the role of parents and environmental conditions must also be considered in order to create conducive learning conditions.

Abstract

Learning materials are various forms of materials that function to support teachers in the teaching teams in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to analyze the style of language through fairy tale book Si Kancil yang Cerdik as an alternative teaching material to write poetry for fourth grade students. In this study using qualitative approach by applying content analysis method. The subject of this study was the stylistic style of the clever picture book. The results of the study that has been done obtained 115 sentences that use the style of language in a fairy tale book. There are 19 types of language styles, them are comparative language styles (parables, metaphors, personification, allegories (fables), antithetic, pleonasm and tautology, periphrasis, and correction or epanorthosis), oppositional language styles (hyperbole, irony, apostrophes, cynicism, and sarcasm), linking language styles (metronomic, synced, epithets, and ellipticals), and iteration language styles are mesodilopsis. From the data, there are 7 categories that describe what the author wants to convey, such as the atmosphere, circumstances, feelings, actions, figures, attitudes, and time that are then used as teaching materials in the form of handouts containing poetry writing materials, language styles for teacher handles and student worksheets as an exercise in understanding language styles and writing poetry.

Abstract

Seeing the evolution of the situation and pandemic conditions that have not been resolved to date, causes researchers difficulty taking data on the ground, so researchers choose the study of literature. The following research is qualitative research using literary studies also known as library studies as this method of study. This study aims to 1) investigate how the ability to solve mathematical problems, especially in elementary school, 2) to know the analysis of the application of the model of the realistic mathematic approach, or the approach of the realistic mathematics of Indonesia (PMRI) and the last 3) to acquire the learning model of realistic mathematics can improve the problem solving of students of elementary school. One aspect that needs to be mastered based on the purpose of mathematical learning one of its aspects is that students are able to problem-solve including the capacity to understand the problem and make the model, work models and interpret the solutions obtained in the learning of math. Based on the analysis of the findings of sixteen (16) articles with relevant titles, the application of a realistic mathematical model was applied in order to improve the ability to solve problems. Based on an analysis of ten (10) articles with relevant titles, the effectiveness of solving mathematics problems in elementary school students proved to be still low.

Abstract

Culture-based mathematics learning can be applied in learning because culture develops around students. Ethnomathematics is culture-based learning that can be done as an alternative to developing teaching materials. Ethnomathematical learning needs to be done to introduce the culture that surrounds students and is associated with learning, one of the cultures that surround students is traditional games. The traditional endog-endogan game can be used as an ethnomathematical learning innovation in subtraction material to help develop students' creative thinking skills. The indicators of creative thinking skills in the research used are fluency, flexibility, and elaboration. This study uses a qualitative approach with the content analysis method. The data analyzed is secondary data in the form of Learning Obstacles totaling 31 data, initial didactic design data 25 data, didactic design revision data 6 data and pedagogics of teachers and students during the learning process. Based on the results of the didactic and pedagogic design analysis. Based on the results of the analysis on the learning obstacle, students have difficulty when making stories in different forms and students only write stories in the same from the questions given, in the initial didactic design students' learning barriers began to decrease, seen from the many student responses that matched predictions, in the revision didactic design of student answers that are by predictions. Based on the results of the reflection, students wrote that the learning process was very fun. Learning mathematics will be easy for students to understand if it is supported by the teaching materials used during the learning process. The role of the teacher during the learning process can make a good relationship between students and the learning material.

Abstract

The regulation is one of the rules that purposed to create the student’s discipline attitude. The occurrence of violations of the rules is a form of indiscipline behavior. Indiscipline behavior occurs because of habits that happen repeatedly. If this indiscipline behavior is left unchecked, it will fade the student’s disciplinary attitude. The purpose of this research was to determine the implementation of school rules, to find out the indiscipline behavior of students toward school rules by students from class V, also to find out the causes of that indiscipline behavior by students. The approach used in this research was a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques used to support research are observation and interview. Compilation of the data findings using data reduction technique, data presentation, and drawing a conclusion. The result from the field shows that the regulations of the school have three elements, some obligations and prohibitions were written in detail and clearly, then the reprimands as sanctions given to violators, and socialization of regulations that were conducted when the new school year began. The indiscipline behaviors that the students carried out were; school uniforms that did not match the rules, incomplete attributes, wearing colored shoes, leaving books in school drawers, turning back the library books over the borrowing limit, coming late to school, letting trash scattered, did not do the homework, disrespecting and unloving people at school, vandalizing school facilities, destroying school environment, cheating, long nails and long hair for boys. The causes of this indiscipline behavior were the lack of a sense of responsibility in students, peer behavior that can be imitated, a sense of wanting to be noticed, and a lack of parental attention.

Abstract

This study Learning media is basically very important in the learning process. This is because learning media can make it easier for teachers to deliver subject matter and can create an effective and efficient learning process. The "Snakes and Ladders" board game media is one of the learning media that can make students more creative, active, and interested in following the course of learning. On the other hand, it can also create an effective and efficient learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the snake and ladder board game media is suitable for use in learning and whether it can improve the science learning ability of "environmental change" material for fourth grade students in elementary schools in terms of the assessment of material experts and media experts. The second purpose of this study was to determine the student's response after using the snake and ladder board game media learning media product. The type of research mix method that is the embedded design is used in this research. This study shows the results: 1) Snakes and Ladders learning media is said to be suitable for use as a learning tool for fourth grade students in elementary schools. This is evidenced by the percentage level of validity of the learning materials from the expert validators of 83.9% on the ''A'' scale, the percentage of the validity of the learning media given by the media expert validators of 71.4% is on the “B” scale, and the percentage of responses students with a qualification of 87.5% with a score of 87.5% with an "A" scale qualification.
