Abstract

Critical thinking ability is a skill that helps students understand concepts, solve problems, and make decisions in learning. Students' low critical thinking skills are a concern because they can affect learning outcomes in all subjects. This research aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by interactive media on the critical thinking abilities of third-grade elementary school students. The method used is a quantitative method with an approach of pre-experimental design which focuses on one experimental class. The type of research applied is one group pretest-posttest at Sultan Agung Islamic Elementary School 4. Data collection techniques include initial observation, interviews, and research using pre-test, treatment, and post-test. Data analysis techniques include testing validity, reliability, distinguishing power, and level of difficulty, as well as going through initial and final data analysis stages. The results of this research show that the PjBL model assisted by interactive media has an effect on the critical thinking abilities of third-grade elementary school students. This is proven by the Sig value. (2-tailed) on the results of hypothesis testing paired sample t-test namely 0.000 0.05, so H0 rejected and Ha accepted. Practically, this research is useful for teachers because the PjBL model assisted by interactive media can be applied as an innovative learning strategy to improve students' critical thinking skills, especially in science and science subjects. Theoretically, this research supports the theory that project-based learning can increase students' active involvement, which ultimately helps students to develop their critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Identifying primary school students’ perception is important for teachers to understand the characteristics and allow them to participate fully in the classroom in the appropriate way that suits students learning style. Differentiated learning potentially create new dynamics that are important for primary school students to perceive. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach to produce an accurate picture of the students’ perception phenomena and present various related information. Furthermore, this research was involved 4th grade students as research object and carried out at SDIT Atikah Musaddad in the period October to December 2024. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results found that students' perceptions of differentiated learning in mathematics subjects showed the average score of respondents in the “Strongly Disagree” category of score 2, the “Disagree” category reached a score of 3, the “Disagree” category reached a score of 53, the “Agree” category reached 488, and the “Strongly Agree” category reached a score of 254. Therefore, students' perception of differentiated learning in mathematics tends to agree. The researcher concluded that differentiated learning has been fully implemented since the existence of an independent curriculum at SDIT Atikah Musaddad school, which is carried out by mathematics teachers, gave good perceptions according to students' experiences when learning is taking place. Students positive perceptions of differentiated learning in mathematics are perceived to improve learning outcomes and learners’ activeness and can make learners feel more independent in learning, and make the learning process more enjoyable. This finding can be used as a foundation for other institutions to develop the implementation of differentiated learning.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) di sekolah dasar masih sering menggunakan modul proyek tanpa memperhatikan capaian dimensi, elemen, dan sub-elemen pada setiap tahapnya. Kondisi ini menyebabkan implementasi P5 tidak optimal sesuai dengan pedoman yang ada. Keterbatasan media pembelajaran menjadi tantangan utama dalam mendukung kegiatan P5, dan kreativitas siswa yang seharusnya menjadi salah satu fokus utama justru menunjukkan penurunan. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya permasalahan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal yang terintegrasi dengan P5. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keefektivan e-modul P5 berbasis kearifan lokal tradisi Bulusan Kudus dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas 5 SDN 3 Hadipolo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil tes menunjakan bahwa N-gain score memperoleh nilai sebesar 0,77 berkategori tinggi dan perolehan N-gain persen 77,34% “efektif”. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-gain menunjukan bahwa, e-modul P5 berbasis kearifan lokal tradisi Bulusan Kudus dinyatakan layak digunakan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik kelas V SDN 3 Hadipolo

Abstract

Religious character education is becoming increasingly urgent in correcting moral deterioration due to the impact of globalization. Based on previous research, there are a lot of studies that focus on the development of religious character through morning habituation activities, but research that links morning habituation activities with the value of Rahmatan lil-Alaimin student profiles has not been widely discussed. Considering that the curriculum from time to time is developing, therefore this research is important because it is a novelty in developing research topics. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of implementing morning habituation activities in instilling religious character and the extent to which this activity can improve the religious character of MIN 2 Garut students which is in line with the values of the Rahmatan lil-Alamin student profile. The method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach of the case study method. The data collection process is carried out by observation, documentation, interviews, and data analysis techniques using interactive analysis with data reduction, data analysis, and conclusions drawn. Based on the findings of the research, by carrying out morning habituation activities consistently, students began to show progress in various aspects, both moral and intellectual, including awareness to be enthusiastic about participating in habituation activities and discipline in carrying out worship. The results of this research can be used as a basis for developing a more effective curriculum and learning programs for instilling religious character through morning habituation activities.
