Abstract

Road infrastructure is built as an infrastructure to meet needs and facilitate accessibility and mobility of socio-economic activities in the community. With the benefits that are so important, therefore the road construction and maintenance sector become a priority to be researched and developed in planning, implementing, and maintaining it.   At the location of Jalan Khatulistiwa section, most of the road surface conditions are in moderate condition so the recommendation for improving road surface conditions is periodic maintenance on 56 segments and the other 13 segments are carried out routine maintenance. In the IRI measurement using the Roadroid application, there is a tendency to produce an IRI value that is greater than the IRI measurement using a laser profilometer, but the IRI value obtained by Roadroid tends to approach the IRI value as measured by a laser profilometer with an average percentage difference per segment of 2.91% with 2 segments that have different conditions. Based on the provisions of Pd-01-2021-BM, the IRI value test of the Roadroid has met the requirements as a class III measure of unevenness (IRI).

Abstract

Supadio International Airport in Pontianak is a gateway for many domestic and international tourists. In order to boost West Kalimantan's economy and tourism, PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) wants to expand the Supadio International Airport by adding a second runway. This article looks at how the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) method was used to plan the thickness of the rigid pavement on the new runway at Supadio International Airport. The expected number of people and aircraft will be calculated using the double-moving average method. The anticipated time frame is 2035, with 12.763.479 passengers and 121.782 aircraft movements annually. The Airbus A330-300 requires the most considerable thickness of the concrete slab, consisting of dual tandem wheel types and a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 533.519 lbs. As the original soil is in poor condition, a 52.5-cm-thick embankment is required to achieve a CBR value of 6%. The rigid pavement thickness design result for the design life of 2035 is as follows: surface course = 56,39 cm, subbase course = 15,24 cm, stabilized subgrade/base soil = 52,5 cm for critical areas, and a surface course of 50,751 cm, subbase course = 13,716 cm, and stabilized subgrade/base soil = 52,5 cm for non-critical soil.

Abstract

The publishing of the new Indonesian seismic code SNI-1729-2019, which was just issued at the end of 2017, is one example of how laws controlling building construction have been changed to keep up with the times, which is the earth study result by Pusat Studi Gempa Nasional (PUSGEN) update includes incorporating a new source of an earthquake, new active faults, more accurate topography map, and earthquake catalog. One of the new seismic zones in the SNI is Pontianak, so in planning buildings in Pontianak, earthquake force parameters must be calculated so that in the event of an earthquake, anticipatory measures can be taken so as not to cause significant losses. This study is planning the structure of Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Sabda Setia Kota Pontianak building, which refers to the Indonesian seismic code SNI-1729-2019.  The structural analysis is carried out using the help of a structural analysis program adjusted to the value of the planned structural dimensions, which are floor slabs with a thickness of 100 mm, main beams 350/700 mm, child beams 300/600 mm and 250/500 mm, to columns K1 D-800 mm and K2 500×500 mm.

Abstract

Start with bathing, washing, and cooking, and then move from these three activities to the parts of the human body, one of which is water. The need for clean water is increasing along with population growth. In this study, an analysis of the need for and availability of clean water was carried out in the service area of the Wae Mese I Water Treatment Plant (WTP), which covers seven urban villages in the Kecamatan Komodo. Projected water demand is based on population growth from 2021 to 2030. Projected water availability is based on the production capacity of WTP Wae Mese I from 2021 to 2030. Based on projected water demand and availability, water balance and WTP production capacity were analyzed in 2030.Based on the analysis of the results, the population in 2030 will reach 45715 people, and the total water demand in 2030 will be 62.06 liters/second. Meanwhile, the capacity of WTP Wae Mese I 40 liters/second has decreased to 33.81 liters/second in 2030. This results in a water deficit of 28.25 liters/second.

Abstract

Kecamatan Selakau has a considerable risk of flooding, which occurs every year. Because it has a low topography, its location on the coast is undoubtedly greatly influenced by tides and is prone to tidal flooding. In an effort to anticipate and reduce the duration and frequency of rain by arranging the drainage system through technical study activities on drainage channels, especially on the Nyirih River drainage channel, which empties directly into the Selakau River. This research aims to examine the effect of the Selakau River's tides on the Nyirih River's drainage flow and the combination of tides and rainfall on the incidence of flooding in the Nyirih River channel. The research methodology used is the descriptive method. Hydrological analysis using the maximum daily rainfall data from Tebas Station. Then the Nyirih River water level tidal readings and the design discharge data are used in the hydrodynamic model analysis.Based on the analysis results using the HEC-RAS Version 6.1.0 software, the water level elevation from sta is at the highest tide conditions without rain. 0+000 to sta. 1 + 466,682 has exceeded the elevation of the existing channel cross-section so that it experiences inundation with a height of 0.02 m"“0.4 m, and at sta. 1 + 694,439 to sta. 2 + 073.878, the water level is still below the existing cross-sectional elevation of the channel, so no inundation occurs. It shows that there is no effect or increase in water level elevation that occurs for the highest tide combination conditions with rainfall return periods of 2, 5, 10, and 20 years, and it is the same as the highest tide conditions without rain, which experience inundation with a height of 0.02 m-0.4 m. Normalization is inefficient and unsuccessful in decreasing floods since sea tides extensively impact the Nyirih along the river channel.

Abstract

The hydrological  analysis is the first stage of the review in waterworks planning. Hydrological analysis necessitates the availability of sufficient data. Data availability tends to have several problems, including a lack of availability, incomplete/empty data, a smaller number of stations, observers, and observation systems, data entry that is still manual, and slow data collection. One possible solution is to use rain satellites. However, TRMM data must be evaluated for field suitability. TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measurement Mission) rainfall data can help overcome this. TRMM is a NASA mission that uses weather monitoring satellite technology to monitor tropical rainfall. This is also the case for the Sekayam Subwatershed, part of the Kapuas River Basin. In the Sekayam sub-watershed, there are 14 (fourteen) rainfall observation stations managed by the Balai Wilayah Sungai Kalimantan (BWSK) I, but currently only 5 observation stations are still active, namely the SGU-01 Sanggau, SGU-03 Balai Karangan, SGU-06 Entikong, SGU-19 Semuntai and SC-01 Kembayan observation stations with data recorded up to 2019, while the other 9 (nine) observation stations do not have long continuous data, because there are years where rainfall data is not recorded. This is because the recording of rainfall on average stopped until 2005, or even some have stopped operating since the 1990s or early 2000s. This study aims to generate representative synthetic TRMM daily rainfall amount data for the Sekayam sub-watershed based on the correction equations obtained in a series of TRMM rainfall data validation analyses, so that it can be used as alternative daily rainfall data in water resources planning and management in the Sekayam sub-watershed.  From the analysis, it can be seen that synthetic rainfall data in the Sekayam sub-watershed will be valid if it is generated with the linear model correction equation Y = 0.6708 X + 139.123 or can be interpreted as TRMM' = 0.6708 TRMM + 139.123.

Abstract

The Landak sub-River Basin is part of the Kapuas River Basin which is drained by the Landak River with an area of approximately 7,921 km2. Flooding in the Landak sub-River Basin occurs every year with the number of cases tending to increase. Flooding in the Landak sub-River Basin inundates about 20 villages, which means that flood-prone areas dominate. The causes of flooding in the Landak sub-River Basin are very complex, basically caused by natural and non-natural factors. Specifically, there are many problems in the Landak sub-River Basin that are thought to trigger flooding such as land use change, decreasing catchment areas, blockages in small rivers, and so on. To identify strategic issues regarding flooding in the Landak sub-River Basin, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted which was attended by several resource persons who were credible with the subject matter and an AHP analysis was conducted first to determine the priority scale of flood management in the Landak sub-River Basin. The result of determining the priority scale of flood management in the Landak sub-River Basin is the strengthening and implementation of regulations. The resulting strategic issues were subjected to a questionnaire that was assessed by the respondents involved during the FGD. The results obtained from this series of SWOT analyses are the formulation of strategies that are most suitable for the strategic issues of flooding in the Landak sub-River Basin using QSPM analysis, along with the determination of short-term, medium-term and long-term strategies using SFAS analysis.

Abstract

The road's condition owing to the vehicle's Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) is one of several highway issues. To further supervise and conduct road safety against overload as stated in Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation article 169 paragraph (1) to (3), it is necessary to research to determine the extent to which Over Dimensions Over Load (ODOL) vehicles affect the life of the road plan on the flexible pavement. This article discusses the Effect Of Over Dimension Overload (Odol) Vehicles On National Road Damage in Kalimantan Barat, specifically on the Jalan Lintas Kalimantan Poros Tengah/Jalan Raya Sosok II Kabupaten Sanggau and as a comparison in selected Jalan Raya Sintang, Kabupaten Sintang. This study examines the impact of Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) cars on the VDF (Vehicle Damage Factor) and the 2023 ZERO ODOL plan on the pavement plan for the Jalan Lintas Kalimantan Poros Tengah (Jalan Raya Sosok II Kabupaten Sanggau and Jalan Raya Sintang, Kabupaten Sintang), a national route in Kalimantan Barat.By using primary data (photo documentation of dimension overload vehicles, road conditions) and secondary data (average daily traffic from P2JN, ODOL percentage data from BPTD XIV West Kalimantan, vehicle data at UPPKB Sosok and UPPKB Sintang, the calculation of traffic growth, vehicle overload, vehicle damage factor (VDF) value due to ODOL vehicles, Equivalent Single Axle Load, plan CESA, normal CESA, overload CESA, and remaining life (RL) value). The investigation shows that Jalan Raya Sosok II Kabupaten Sanggau and Jalan Raya Sintang, Kabupaten Sintang's plant life cannot survive owing to the vehicle's Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL). Jalan Raya Sosok II Kabupaten Sanggau will last 8.04 years and Jalan Raya Sintang, Kabupaten Sintang 8.23 years. Thus, Jalan Raya Sosok II Kabupaten Sanggau 1, 95 years or 19.5%, and Jalan Raya Sintang, Kabupaten Sintang 1, 77 years or 17.7%, have shorter pavement lifespans.

Abstract

Rebar is one of the main materials in a building. The material has been widely innovated by product providers. In addition to using conventional reinforcement on the floor slab, it is now possible to replace the reinforcement with wire mesh reinforcement. Because material costs are a very large cost in construction projects, it is necessary to do proper material planning. This final project will compare the two reinforcements with the aim that project implementers can plan materials appropriately so that it is expected to minimize the huge cost expenditure. In this final project, the reinforcement in the floor slab work will be reviewed in terms of direct waste reinforcement which will be assisted by software cutting optimization pro and reinforcement costs using the AHSP stipulated by Permen PUPR No.1 of 2022. After various stages are carried out, a comparison of the direct waste level, direct waste cost, and cost of the two reinforcements will be obtained. A Comparison of the three reviews found that wire mesh reinforcement is more efficient than using conventional reinforcement.
