Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is a corelation between the use of Sociophotography learning methods and students' interest in learning. The research method used is quantitative. Respondents in this study were students of class X Social Sciences SMA Negeri 16 Bekasi City for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 26 students, using purposive sampling technique. The data collection used is a closed questionnaires, observation and documentation. Then the results of the data from the questionnaire were analyzed with Pearson correlation statistics using SPSS version 16. The results of this study indicate that 1) The use of sociophotography learning methods is in the medium category: 2) Students' interest in learning is in the medium category; 3) The use of Sociophotography learning methods with students' interest in learning has a significant relationship with the strong category. The magnitude of the relationship between the X variable (Use of Sociophotography Learning Methods) with the Y variable (Students' Interest in Learning) is 0.788 or 78.8%. The amount of the contribution of the X variable to the Y variable is 62.1% and the remaining 37.9% is explained by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This article describes the development of Google Sites-based learning media and the feasibility of Google Sites learning media from the media and material aspects. The method used is a research and development (RnD) method using the ADDIE development model developed by Dick and Carry. However, in its implementation, only three stages are carried out including Analysis (analysis), Design (design), and Development (development).The results of this study indicate that the development of Google Sites learning media is carried out through three stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, and the development stage. The learning media made consist of the Main Page, Competency Page, Material Page, Evaluation Page, Games Page, Announcement Page, and Credit Page. This media was validated by two media experts, two materials experts, and two sociology teachers. The feasibility of Google Sites media is based on the score obtained for each aspect by media experts, material experts, and sociology teachers to get an assessment result with an average score of 4.62 which is included in the appropriate category.

Abstract

The background in this study discusses student interest in learning geography during the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine how happy feelings, student interest, student attention, and student involvement in learning geography online. The research method used is qualitative research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya by interviewing seven students in class XI Social Sciences based on the recommendations given by the teacher and geography teacher for class XI Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. The study results indicate that students are diligent in attending and have feelings of pleasure in participating in online geography learning activities. Students are less interested in studying geography outside class hours because they only learn when there are assignments or tests. Students sometimes have problems understanding the material given by the teacher, but students want to try to understand the material provided by the teacher. The involvement of students in learning, including less due to the absence of discussion between teachers and students. This study concludes that students still are interested in learning geography online, but the overall indicators are not good. Because there is a lack of student involvement in online geography learning, most students feel obstacles in understanding the material given by the teacher.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high number of single-parent women, 40% of whom work in the informal sector, and the income and expenses of single-parent women are not balanced, thus making women constrained in meeting family needs. This study aims to describe and analyze the efforts of single-parent women in the informal sector in meeting family needs in Nagari Tanjung Beringin, Lubuk Attitude District, and Pasaman Regency. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies carried out data collection techniques. The unit of analysis in this study is the individual. The Miles and Huberman model uses the data analysis technique, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding.  The conclusion from the results of this study is that single-parent women who work in the informal sector to meet the needs of their families make efforts to meet the requirements; namely, single-parent women have side jobs. In contrast, they use family relationships, collect agricultural products such as vegetables, chocolate, corn, and areca nut, borrow funds from formal and non-formal financial institutions, and other single-parent women make savings to meet their needs families.

Abstract

Pancasila, as the nation's ideology and the guideline of the Indonesian people in the country and society, has become essential to every individual soul of Indonesian culture. Therefore the elaboration of Pancasila values as a form of actualization and realization of Pancasila values makes the creation of norms and laws a regulator of social life. Pancasila as an ideology has noble values that come from the soul of the Indonesian people themselves; therefore, the actualization of Pancasila values in generations. The current state of youth is a study that needs to be studied. The realization of the Pancasila values of Indonesia's young age is currently faltering and the rapid development of technology. This natural, technological development makes many positive and negative impacts on society and the state. The presence of technology can also threaten Pancasila as the nation's ideology by a new culture. Therefore, the actualization and understanding of Pancasila are very important for the integrity of the Indonesian country and state, especially among young people during this rapid globalization era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the project based learning model in improving 21st century skills. The research method uses a qualitative approach based on the literature. Sources obtained from various kinds of reading materials such as books, articles, journals, and other literature. The sources used are relevant to the discussion. The project-based learning model is one of the project-based models, where students are more active in the learning process. Students will be given a project in the group learning process. 21st century skills are skills that must be possessed in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 which requires its generations to become quality, creative, innovative, and critical human resources. This project-based learning is one way to face and prepare generations in the 21st century. This model will later be able to form skills that are in accordance with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Project-based learning is also equipped with a scientific approach. Along with the times and more and more learning models, one of which is a project-based learning model that can be applied by teachers as an effort to prepare the 21st century generation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine social interactions in cooperation and accommodation between Chinese and Malay ethnic groups in Sungai Bulan Village, Singkawang Utara. The method used in this study is descriptive-qualitative with data sourced from the community (primary data) and documentation (secondary information). This study's informants were six people from Chinese and Malay ethnic groups in Sungai Bulan Village, Singkawang Utara. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing are the data analysis techniques used. The validity of the research data was tested using extended observations and triangulation. The results of this study show that there is cooperation in the form of association, bargaining, and collaboration. In addition, there are also accommodations in the form of compromise, mediation, and tolerance between both ethnic groups. Based on the results, social interaction in the form of cooperation and capacity between Chinese and Malay ethnic groups in Sungai Bulan Village, Singkawang Utara, is going very well.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of self-confidence of students in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the traditional boi-boian game on the character of self-confidence. The method used in this study is a pre-experimental method with the form of one group pretest and posttest research. This research uses total sampling, the population with a sample of all students following the criteria of specific age indicators with a sample of 38 and a population of 38 students using a pretest at the beginning and a posttest at the end of the study. The data analysis technique was a t-test with the help of SPPS version 22. The results showed an effect of the traditional boi-boian game on increasing self-confidence. The t-test result was sig. (2-tailed) for confidence 0.000 0, 05, then the results of the posttest group obtained the average self-confidence of the pretest group, which is 60.68. It can be concluded that the traditional boi-boian game influences the self-confidence of students at Solomon Elementary School, Pontianak City.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the promiscuity of teenagers at this time has the potential to lead to deviant behavior in terms of socializing. One form of behavior is how to get along with the opposite sex to cause promiscuity in dating such as having premarital sex so that it leads to pregnancy outside of marriage. Of course this is a concern for the nagari government so it is necessary to overcome promiscuity in these teenagers. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of the Nagari government in overcoming promiscuity. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The unit of analysis in this study is the family. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study is than in overcoming the association of teenagers who are increasingly free in terms of dating, sunch as by conducting socialization and counseling in every school in Koto bangun, then giving advice to teenagers who are found dating in a place which is quiet, giving a warning and a sanction if the teenager who has been given advice still reperats it, namely by notifying the parent at home and will process it at the nagari office of they have deviaded outside the limits. But by doing several ways to overcome this, there are still teenagers eho do deviant behavior, especially in terms of dating. So this is certainly a common concern for both parents at home, the community, and the nagari government.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has encouraged many schools to innovate so that they can carry out an effective learning process, including through the use of online media during PJJ. Based on this phenomenon, the research was compiled to know the effectiveness of the use of WAG media and google classroom in PJJ at MTsN 3 Serang. The research process is carried out using a survey method with a descriptive approach that focuses on evaluating the learning process that has been taking place. Respondents involved in the study were 30 people who were students of class IX F. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument. The data analysis process was carried out using a descriptive statistical approach with data presented in the form of diagrams and descriptive narratives. The results of the study found that students considered that using WAG and Google Classroom media, distance learning could be carried out. According to respondents, for distance learning to run more effectively, teachers need to 1) conduct learning with video calls such as Gmeet / Zoom meeting, 2) provide material that is concise and easy to understand, 3) provide material before giving assignments, 4) give assignments that are following the material presented, and 5) does not impose tasks on students.
