MANAJEMEN IKM: Jurnal Manajemen Pengembangan Industri Kecil Menengah
Perintisan jurnal sebagai berkala ilmiah berwawasan nasional dimulai sejak Februari 2006 dengan nama Jurnal MPI dengan No. ISSN 1907-3127 yang memuat 9 judul artikel pada setiap edisi. Mulai terbitan edisi September 2009, judulnya dirubah menjadi Jurnal Manajemen IKM dengan No. ISSN 2085-8418 dan E-ISSN 2622-9250. Jurnal Manajemen IKM selama ini mampu menjadi sarana penyebarluasan informasi ilmiah kepada para dosen atau peneliti lainnya, maupun masyarakat pengguna, serta sarana pengembangan. Manajemen IKM (P-ISSN 2085-8418; E-ISSN 2622-9250) merupakan Jurnal Manajemen Pengembangan Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Magister Pengembangan Industri Kecil Menengah (MPI) Sekolah Pascasarjana IPB sejak September 2006, memuat kegiatan dunia usaha kecil menengah (UKM), khususnya IKM beserta instansi yang terkait seperti perbankan, departemen teknis dan usaha swasta besar dan petani/nelayan, dalam Bahasa Indonesia maupun Bahasa Inggris. Manajemen IKM terbit setiap 6 bulan sekali (Februari dan September) dan ditujukan sebagai wadah untuk mengkomunikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dari kajian tugas akhir mahasiswa MPI, khususnya yang terkait dengan pembinaan dan pengembangan IKM. Namun demikian, tulisan yang diterima Manajemen IKM terbuka bagi berbagai kalangan yang memiliki ketertarikan dalam pembinaan dan pengembangan IKM, baik itu peneliti, penyuluh, maupun pengusaha. Dengan diterbitkannya jurnal ini, maka kedepannya diharapkan lebih dipahami potensi, kendala dan pengembangan IKM melalui pendekatan holistik dan sinergi yang dilihat dari faktor-faktor ekonomi, manajerial dan faktor-faktor lainnya seperti kemitraan

Fish as a natural resource has a very high potential as a source of foreign exchange and income. Arrest of the proper techniques of some fish species will provide optimal benefits. The objective of this study is to analyze the financial feasibility of tuna fishing of PT Serena Marine in area of North Sulawesi Sea. Through certain assumptions and calculations of financial feasibility with present value concept (NPV, BCR and IRR) and profitability ratios such as ROA, ROI and ROE, also break-even point, and payback period. The result showed that, this business activity will be feasible and profitable. The results show that based on those profitability indicators were above 1%, NPV calculated is positive, BCR is 1.62 or > 1 while IRR is 46 % and greater than discounted interest rate using in this financial analysis, Payback period will be achieved on the year 25thmonths or after 2 years of operations. It shows the activity of tuna fishing by PT Serena Marine, is feasible in financial aspect.

Potential weaving industry nationally as one of the SMEs so far have not unearthed the maximum due to the development of production management systems. Therefor, PT Retota Sakti has prompted company management to enhance the creative abilities tenunnya always accompanied by the application of more precise marketing strategies that correspond with the development of competition situation that occurred in the weaving industry. The purpose of this study was (1) Identify and evaluate the position of Marketing PT Retota Way by internal and external factors, and (2) Develop appropriate marketing strategies in developing future business. Analyzed in a descriptive study to emphasize the aspect of marketing, covering demand products to meet market needs; offer, which gives an overview about the availability of products in the process of cultivation and the balance of factors between demand and supply prices. To examine the marketing strategies carried out by quantitative SWOT analysis. The results of factor identification strategy, there are five key factors of internal strengths and weaknesses of four key factors. While the external environment there are five key factors of opportunities and threats of five factors. IFE values 2.842 and 2.530 EFE value, and also the combination of these two values in the matrix IE indicates that the marketing strategy lies in the quadrant of five, namely the growth and stability, where the strategies that can run the market penetration, product development and market. QSP matrix analysis results obtained with the most attractive strategy to be implemented is to increase production capacity.

Although the footwear industry is one sector of the small and medium industries which supported by the government, but the development of the industry is still relatively low. Various government policies have been made related to export and import settings, however the policies do not seem to provide significant benefits to the national development of the footwear industry. The condition is further exacerbated by the implementation of CAFTA (China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement) in Indonesia. The lack of preparedness of local industry in the face of Chinese products in the country is feared to suppress the competitiveness of local products become increasingly weak. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the development efforts of small and household footwear industries and to analyze the effect of CAFTA on the sustainability of small and household footwear industries. The research was conducted in Bogor (district and city) which is a center of footwear industry in Indonesia. The respondent of the study consists of the leading small and household industries taken by purposive sampling with 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using the statistical descripitive and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Based on SEM analysis, the results indicate that efforts to develop small and household footwear industries directly affected by motivation efforts of the entrepreneurs in this industry and the government policies that facilitate the entrepreneurs in this industry. Increasing the development of business sustainability is also directly influenced by the characteristics of the entrepreneurs who are able to optimize productivity and the CAFTA implementation which is responded by good competitiveness from the local industry.

Activities of tourist visit provide opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to stand, making the city of Bogor as one of the city that has an increasing number of SME’s. Failure to exploit the potential of the center to develop its organization and social capital owned SME’s indicate that SME’s still face problems of low quality human resources. SME’s mostly poorly educated human resources with technical expertise, competence, entrepreneurship and management are modest. On the other hand the knowledge inherent in members of an organization need to be updated and transferred to still have a value that is integrated with the vision and mission of the organization. On the basis of need, there is a knowledge management approach known as knowledge management.This study aims to (1) analyze the characteristics of social capital owned SME’s organizations Bogor, (2) analyze the characteristics of knowledge management in Bogor SME’s organization, (3) analyze the contribution and role of social capital on organizational knowledge management implementation, (4) analyze the relationship between social capital variables with the variables of organizational knowledge management practices of SME’s Bogor. This study used structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis.

This study conducted to formulate a possible scenario in the future (prospective strategic). The scenario is based on conditions that may occur in the future toward on the key factors that influence the development of banana chips industry in Bandarlampung. This study aimed to: (1) identify the factors that influence the development of banana chips Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) industry in Bandarlampung, and (2) determine the formulation of banana chips SME development strategy in Bandarlampung, and (3) determine the operational recommendations for the development of banana chips SMEs in Bandarlampung. The analysis tool is the Prospective Analysis to predict the possibilities that occur in the future and prepare a strategic action needs to be done and see if changes are needed in the future. The studied showed that the critical success factors of banana chips business development in order to increase market share and become a superior product in Bandarlampung are (1) technical capability, (2) managerial skills, (3) access to information, (4) the production process, and (5) availability of raw materials. Formulation of enterprise development strategies carried out by combining the results of stakeholder analysis and a prospective analysis, to generate an optimistic scenario for the development of banana chips in Bandarlampung. Operational recommendations for the development of banana chips in Bandarlampung prepared using a prospective analysis: (1) increase the technical ability of entrepreneur, (2) increase the managerial skills, (3) increased access to information, (4) modern processes for production, and (5) increasing the availability of raw materials.

The one commodity that is highly prospective for cultivated on an industrial scale and households are catfish (Clarias sp.). The purpose of this study was (1) analyze the feasibility of catfish farming in dry land in the district of Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta Province, (2) analyze the potential of catfish farming in ponds tarp on dry land, (3) develop alternative business development in the district of Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta Province. The method used in this thesis is descriptive method that focuses on technical aspects and business cultivation, as well as a SWOT analysis. Based on the feasibility analysis has a promising prospect and deserves to be developed. To maximize revenue catfish farmers, a combination of strategies SO, WO Strategies and strategy ST is an appropriate strategy to be chosen by farmers to improve their business. Increase the number and extent of ponds and develop farming, applying methods of maintenance and cultivation of good, as well as expand market coverage ranging from individual consumers, restaurants and traditional markets to restaurants to modern markets to improve capital efficiency and increase profits for farmers catfish on dry land in the district of Gunung Kidul.

Flood of salt imports from the country four season to meet consumption needs and the needs of industry to Indonesia make the price of salt is low. Surprisingly rich tropical sea water and sunlight with the fourth longest coastline in the world's, but in 2010 national production of only 30,600 tons of salt or less than 1% of national demand, because the harvest in a number of production centers 1.000-7.000 tons. Ponds area and one of the factors that influence the production of salt is an integral part of the performance of producing salt as salt producers nationwide. Business performance on a salt farmer folk analyzed the influence of the land area of salt ponds on productivity, quality and financial performance by analysis of variance (Anova), for quality is conducted lab tests and analysis of financial performance using the calculation of revenue, R/C ratio and B/C ratio. The analysis showed no real productivity diversity. Salinity of sea water highest diversity in the people who produce the salt flats with an area of 0.23 acres of land with an average 4,576,666.67, the lowest score in the group of farmers with vast salt flat 0.85 acres of land with an average 1.6775 million. The analysis showed no real income diversity. R / C ratio and B/C ratio is generated providing the highest value in the group of people who produce salt area of 0.23 hectares with an average 10.1533, the lowest in the group of salt peasants with land area of 0.85 acres with a mean average of 3.2367. Effect of salt ponds land productivity, quality and financial performance analysis of variance analysis showed no significant difference, then the people's business performance by producing salt undervalued and needs to be increased by salt farmers.

Changes in business environment lead various companies to continue to strive to improve their business strategies in order to survive and have a competitive advantage. The peak changes occurred with the coming of business era in the era of information and science. In this era, business strategies that are considered suitable, among others, the application of human resource development system based on human capital and company management based on corporate values and good corporate governance (GCG). PTPN VII as state-owned enterprise in agribusiness has tried to implement the system. This study aimed to examine the relationship between human capital, corporate values and GCG and their relation to the performances of the employees and the company. The population of this research as many as 400 people consisted of the employees of PTPN VII head office, but the number of the samples set was 120 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with quota sampling technique. The methods of processing and analyzing the data was structural equation modeling analysis-partial least squares (SEM-PLS), and the data processing used software smartPLS. The results indicated that the implementation of human capital by the company contributed positively to the increase of the employee performance. The implementation and internalization of corporate values to the employees positively contributed to the improvement of the employee performance. The increased employee performance played a positive role in improving the company performance. The implementation of corporate governance principles could improve the performance of the company, but did not play a great role in improving employee performance

The decrease layur fish export in Pelabuhanratu. The roof of the problems are human resources or human capital, performance and supply chain problems. The purpose of this study is formulating the strategy of increasing fisherman performance strategy in ribbon fish supply chain through develop human capital. The increase of fisherman performance is got from the observe activity depth interview with the people who are related to and fishbone chart analized to identify problems which happened in fisherman that cause decreasing fish export and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is used for the strategy to get a strategy which is suitanable with the fisherman. From the analyze result that we have done with strategy wisdom we are got is increasing training strategy which is adapted with the requirements we hope that it can increase fisherman performance, we hope that the welfare of fisherman will increase.

This study examined the influence of bureaucratic reform policies that have been implemented at Training and Education Center of Budget and Treasury, Ministry of Finance since 2007 on employee performance. Bureaucratic reform in its implementation using the concept of two-way social approach, ie persuasive and coercive. Persuasive approach to drive performance through improved remuneration. While the approach of coercion restriction or supervision, and strict punishment to avoid attitudes and behaviors that can be detrimental to the organization through the dimensional change of mindset, structuring the organization and business process, and discipline improvement and human resource management. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The results showed that the bureaucratic reform give an effect and improve the employee performance. Base on the result, it is recommended that bureaucratic reform policy can be implemented to other ministries and institutions to improve the employee performance.
