Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Return on Equity (ROE) in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2023. This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, resulting in 64 companies as the sample. The data analyzed is sourced from secondary financial reports available on the IDX official website. The analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that TATO has a significant and positive effect on ROE. These findings can be used as managerial considerations in optimizing asset utilization to drive better financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of career development on the job satisfaction of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution Main Unit and Load Control Center (UIP3B) SULAWESI. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, and questionnaires which were distributed to 70 respondents. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 26. The results of the analysis show that career development has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction. With a determination coefficient (R2) value of 2.8%, it identifies that 2.8% variation in job satisfaction is explained by career development implemented by the company. Meanwhile, the remaining 97.2% were influenced by other factors not studied in this study. These findings confirm that a planned and fair career development program can improve job satisfaction, thereby helping companies achieve better organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of self-efficacy and prosocial motivation on employee performance in the logistics sector in Surakarta, with a particular focus on the mediating role of work engagement. This empirical quantitative study surveyed 110 respondents and used SEM-PLS to examine how self-efficacy and prosocial motivation directly affect work engagement and employee performance, including work engagement’s mediating role. The findings show that self-efficacy positively impacts both work engagement and employee performance. Likewise, prosocial motivation significantly boosts work engagement and performance. Work engagement stands out as the strongest predictor of performance and plays a key mediating role between self-efficacy, prosocial motivation, and performance. Therefore, strengthening employees’ confidence and prosocial motivation enhances work engagement, which ultimately improves performance in the fast-paced logistics sector.

Abstract

Fair business competition is guaranteed in Law Number 5 of 1999, including the obligation to notify mergers or acquisitions. However, the case of PT Tamaris Hidro vs. KPPU highlights the ambiguity in this regulation, especially regarding the application of the Single Economic Entity Doctrine. PT Tamaris Hidro argued that the notification obligation had been fulfilled by PT Patria Bakti Abadi, but the KPPU rejected the claim and imposed a fine of IDR 10 billion. This study uses a normative legal approach to analyze the legal basis in decision Number 4/Pdt.Sus-KPPU/2024/PN.Niaga Jkt Pst. The results of the study show that the KPPU regulation has not accommodated business entities with complex ownership structures. As a result, parent companies are still required to make separate notifications, even though they are in the same business group. The implications of this finding emphasize the need to revise the KPPU regulation to be more adaptive to the dynamics of modern business. This study recommends further research on the application of the Single Economic Entity Doctrine in competition law in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the determination of rental rates for the Sikka Convention Center (SCC) and its contribution to increasing the Local Own-Source quantitative with a descriptive approach. The property value was calculated using the Cost Approach, where the land value was obtained based on the Tax Object Sale Value (Nilai Jual Objek Pajak, NJOP) and the building value was calculated using the Income Capitalization Approach. The results showed that the property value of SCC consisted and of a constant land value and a building value that fluctuated according to annual rental income. SCC rental income experienced significant changes, peaking in 2022 and declining again in 2024. The actual contribution of SCC rental income to increasing PAD in Sikka Regency remained very small, with the highest achievement in 2022; however, it had not yet provided a significant overall impact. Meanwile, calculations pf contribution based on optimal potential showed higher values compared to the actual realization, although it was still considered low in enhancing PAD in Sikka Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the level of ICT usage in a region on the MSEs growth in Indonesia using a quantitative approach. This study uses secondary provincial-level data obtained from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), which are analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and panel data regression. The study findings indicate that the level of ICT usage in a region has a positive effect on the MSEs growth in Indonesia. However, there are differences in the impact between regions, where the positive effect of ICT usage on MSE growth is consistent in the west Indonesia region, but not significant in the east Indonesia region. The researcher recommends that the government and other stakeholders pay more attention to the development of ICT infrastructure in Indonesia, particularly improving ICT in eastern Indonesia to create equality in technology utilization. In addition, increasing digital literacy and training for MSEs in Indonesia is crucial so they can utilize technology optimally. Thus, it is hoped that the positive effect of ICT usage on MSEs can be felt evenly throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Community Forest Management (PHKM) is one of the social forestry programs aimed at improving community welfare while maintaining forest sustainability. The sustainability of this program is greatly influenced by the level of community participation. This study aims to analyze the sustainability level of the Community Forest Management (HKM) program based on community participation. The research was conducted in Kapita Village, Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency, reviewed from social, economic, and ecological aspects from July 24, 2025 to August 31, 2025, using a mixed methods approach. Data were collected through structured interviews with questionnaires involving 134 respondents who were members of forest farmer groups, in-depth interviews, and field observations. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, sustainability index calculation, and qualitative triangulation to strengthen the findings. The results show that the social aspect achieved a sustainability index of 63.7% or a score of 3.64, the economic aspect obtained an average score of 3.50, and the ecological aspect reached 3.69, all categorized as moderately sustainable. The Combined Sustainability Index (CSI) of the three aspects was 3.61, placing the PHKM program in the moderately sustainable category. This study concludes that PHKM has had a positive impact on social and economic life as well as environmental conservation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of PT Qirindo Tekhnik Mandiri by applying the Balanced Scorecard approach after the fire incident that disrupted business operations in early 2025. Balanced Scorecard was chosen because it provides a comprehensive measurement framework that evaluates performance through four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth. This research employed a descriptive method with both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Primary data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with the President Director, while secondary data were derived from financial statements from 2021 to 2024. The findings indicate that the company showed an improvement in financial performance in 2023, followed by a decline in 2024 due to operational disruption and increased costs. The fire incident also caused revenue decline and asset losses at the beginning of 2025, although the company succeeded in maintaining cash flow by implementing emergency funding strategies and cost adjustments. From the customer perspective, trust and loyalty remained stable due to transparent communication and service enhancements. Internal business processes demonstrated improvements in operational standards and the adoption of digital systems. In the learning and growth perspective, employee training and capacity strengthening activities were consistently carried out to support operational recovery. Overall, the Balanced Scorecard helped provide a clear performance evaluation and guide strategic recovery efforts post-crisis.

Abstract

The development of the digital economy in Indonesia has opened up great opportunities for the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and startup companies. In an increasingly competitive market, visual identity and branding are crucial factors in attracting consumer attention and building brand loyalty. This study aims to analyze the business opportunities of freelance graphic design services as a solution to the branding needs of MSMEs and startups in Indonesia. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing various previous studies, secondary data, and case studies from freelance graphic design industry players. The results show that there is a very large market opportunity for freelance graphic design services because: the majority of MSMEs and startups need professional visual identity but have limited budgets to hire permanent designers, graphic design has been proven to increase product competitiveness through packaging, logos, and attractive promotional media, digital platforms make it easier for freelance designers to reach clients widely with low operational costs, and freelance work flexibility offers benefits for designers in determining rates and portfolios. The conclusion of this study confirms that freelance graphic design services have promising prospects as a sustainable business model, provided that designers are able to build a strong portfolio, understand the principles of rational pricing, and utilize digital technology optimally for marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the implementation of the Village Financial System (SISKEUDES) in an effort to improve financial management accountability in Guguak Sarai Village, Solok Regency. The research focuses on understanding the implementation process, the challenges faced, and the impacts on village governance. Using qualitative descriptive methods, data were collected through interviews with village officials, direct observation of financial management activities, and review of related documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of SISKEUDES can increase administrative efficiency, strengthen transparency, and improve the quality of the preparation and presentation of village financial reports. This system is considered to help make the recording, planning, and reporting processes more structured and easier to trace. However, its implementation still faces several obstacles, such as limited human resource competency, minimal training or outreach activities, and inadequate technological infrastructure. Overall, the use of SISKEUDES makes a significant contribution to improving the accountability of village financial management and supports the realization of good governance principles at the local level.
