Abstract

The rapid development of digital media has created a complex information ecosystem, where data flows massively without adequate quality filters and verification. This condition increases the potential for information distortion, including hoaxes, misinformation, and cognitive bias that significantly affect the information behavior of society. Generation Z as digital natives becomes the most vulnerable group due to high exposure to social media and algorithms that personalize content. This research aims to analyze the critical thinking ability of Generation Z in facing information distortion, identify cognitive and structural factors that influence vulnerability to hoaxes, and formulate strategies for strengthening digital literacy based on modern pedagogical approaches. This research uses a systematic literature study method by integrating empirical findings from academic papers, national journals indexed by Sinta, and accredited international journals. The results of the research show that although Generation Z has high technological ability, their critical thinking ability is not evenly distributed, especially in aspects of source verification, evidence analysis, and awareness of cognitive bias. Educational interventions such as Problem-Based Learning, critical digital literacy, training to distinguish fact-opinion-hoax, and guided inquiry-based learning have proven effective in increasing information resilience. This research produces a conceptual model for strengthening critical thinking as the foundation of 21st-century digital literacy.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of sharia fintech with mudharabah contracts in the perspective of sharia microeconomics, particularly in relation to the principles of ownership, principal-agent relationships, pricing, sharia investment, and digital financing governance. The main issue examined is the emergence of challenges in the distribution and monitoring of profits in digital mudharabah financing, such as asymmetric information, moral hazard, and adverse selection, which have the potential to disrupt the principles of justice and trust. This study aims to analyze relevant Islamic microeconomic concepts and theories, examine the causes and effects of challenges in digital mudharabah financing, and formulate the best Islamic governance to be in line with the principles of justice, trustworthiness, and maslahah. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative-descriptive approach to scientific journals, books, and Sharia sources such as the Qur'an, hadith, fiqh rules, and maqasid Sharia. The results of the study show that sharia fintech has great potential in increasing financial inclusion and transparency in mudharabah financing, but its effectiveness is still limited by weak monitoring systems, limited digital infrastructure, and low information disclosure. The synthesis of findings shows that strengthening governance through real-time reporting transparency, smart contract implementation, strict screening, and integrated digital monitoring are the main solutions. This study concludes that strong, technology-based sharia governance is the key to the success of digital mudharabah that is fair, trustworthy, and oriented towards public benefit.

Abstract

This study conducts a systematic literature review (SLR) to explore the concept of entrepreneurial culture within the context of a rapidly evolving global economy. The focus is to examine how cultural factors influence entrepreneurship at individual, organizational, and national levels, while discussing the significant role of cultural values and social norms in shaping entrepreneurial attitudes. Two interconnected concepts are identified: National Entrepreneurial Culture (NEC) and Organizational Entrepreneurial Culture (OEC), both critical in fostering environments that support innovation and business development. Methodologically, this research employs the PRISMA framework and bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, facilitating the mapping and identification of research trends in this field. The findings indicate a significant increase in publications since 2014, although the topic remains relatively underexplored, particularly in developing countries. The study suggests further attention to be given to developing countries, especially in Asia, to fill existing research gaps and better understand the impact of local cultures on entrepreneurship. These findings offer practical implications for policymakers and educational institutions in designing policies and entrepreneurial curricula aligned with local cultural values, fostering inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems globally.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of emotional intelligence, communication, and the work environment on employee performance at Mooij, located in Denpasar City. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, with a saturated sample consisting of 100 employees. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, along with t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The findings reveal that emotional intelligence has a negative and significant influence on employee performance (B = –0.223; Sig. = 0.019), while communication demonstrates a positive and significant effect (B = 0.228; Sig. = 0.042). In contrast, the work environment is found to have a negative and significant effect on employee performance (B = –0.229; Sig. = 0.019). Simultaneously, emotional intelligence, communication, and the work environment collectively have a significant impact on employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 4.001 and a significance level of 0.019, with these variables accounting for 75.6% of the variance in employee performance. These results emphasize the critical role of effective communication and appropriate work environment management in improving employee performance. Additionally, the development of emotional intelligence should be carefully managed to prevent potential declines in performance. The study offers practical insights for Mooij’s management in formulating human resource strategies aimed at enhancing employee performance.
