Abstract

Motivation and career planning are crucial factors in enhancing students’ academic achievement and preparing them for future career paths. To support both educators and students in these areas, a Community Service Program (PKM) was conducted at Yayasan Tajaul Karomatu, Desa Situ Gadung, Kabupaten Tangerang, on May 29, 2025. The program was implemented by three lecturers and five students from Universitas Pamulang and involved 23 participants, including teachers, educational staff, and students. The PKM activities were carried out through a structured process consisting of preparation, execution, and reporting stages. During the execution phase, participants engaged in material presentations, practical exercises, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions aimed at strengthening learning motivation and career planning skills. The results showed that participants demonstrated significant improvement in understanding the importance of motivation and strategic career planning. Teachers and staff reported an enhanced ability to motivate students and facilitate goal-setting, while students gained clearer insights into their academic and career aspirations. Overall, the PKM positively contributed to fostering a proactive educational environment, encouraging both educators and learners to engage in continuous self-improvement and career development planning. These outcomes underscore the effectiveness of targeted community service interventions in educational institutions.

Abstract

The rapid development of Industry 4.0 has brought significant changes to various sectors, including education, requiring human resources (HR) to possess adequate skills and competencies to adapt effectively. This community service activity aimed to enhance the quality of human resources in facing the Industry 4.0 transformation at Yayasan Tajaul Karomatu, Situ Gadung, Tangerang. The activity was conducted from April 8–10, 2025, by a team of eight lecturers and students from Universitas Pamulang, targeting 24 participants consisting of students and teachers. The methods employed included material presentations, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to facilitate knowledge transfer and skill development. The PKM implementation was carried out in three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. During the preparation stage, the team designed materials and coordinated with the foundation to arrange schedules and logistics. The execution stage involved delivering structured sessions that addressed Industry 4.0 concepts, required competencies, and practical strategies for adaptation. Finally, the reporting stage documented the outcomes, feedback, and recommendations for further improvement. The results indicated that participants gained increased awareness and understanding of Industry 4.0, developed critical thinking skills, and expressed confidence in applying new knowledge in learning and teaching processes. This PKM activity contributed to strengthening the capacity of the foundation’s human resources to respond to technological transformation challenges effectively.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting local economic development, but many face challenges in increasing sales due to limited marketing knowledge. In Desa Situ Gadung, Tangerang Regency, local traders often struggle to identify and target their market effectively, which hinders business growth. This community service activity aimed to improve the marketing capacity of MSME traders by introducing practical market segmentation strategies to enhance product sales. The program was conducted at Tajaul Karomatu School on November 7–8, 2025, and was implemented by three lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, involving 17 local traders as participants. The activity was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. During the implementation stage, participants engaged in material presentations, practical exercises, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to ensure understanding and application of market segmentation principles. The results showed that participants gained a better understanding of identifying target customer groups, customizing products to meet consumer needs, and adopting appropriate promotional strategies for different market segments. They also actively applied these concepts in planning to increase their sales. This initiative not only enhanced the marketing skills of local traders but also promoted community engagement and contributed to sustainable economic development in Desa Situ Gadung.

Abstract

Community-based marketing strategies are essential for empowering local artisans and increasing the competitiveness of handmade products in today’s market. This community service activity (PKM) aimed to strengthen the marketing capacity of craft product entrepreneurs in Perumnas Monang Maning, West Denpasar, through the development of community-based marketing strategies. The program was carried out on October 25–26, 2025, by a team of ten lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, involving twenty-four local residents as participants. The PKM activities were implemented through several stages preparation, implementation, and reporting. The implementation stage included material presentation, practical sessions, group discussions, and interactive question-and-answer sessions. The materials focused on digital marketing, branding techniques, and community collaboration in promoting local crafts. The results of the activity indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of marketing strategy formulation and their ability to apply digital tools to promote handmade products. Participants also demonstrated increased enthusiasm in forming local marketing networks and utilizing social media for product promotion. This program contributed to enhancing community independence and sustainability in creative industry development. It is expected that continuous mentoring and digital literacy enhancement will further strengthen the marketing performance of local artisans.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out to enhance the marketing capacity of handicraft entrepreneurs in Situ Gadung Village, Tangerang Regency. The background of the program arises from the limited market access and competitiveness of local handicraft products, which rely primarily on conventional sales channels. The main objective of this activity was to improve participants’ knowledge and skills in developing community-based marketing strategies that leverage collaboration and digital platforms. The activity was conducted on November 4–5, 2025, by six lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, with 19 local residents engaged in handicraft trading as participants. The methods of implementation included material presentation, practical exercises, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The PKM process consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. The results indicated that participants gained better understanding of community-based and online marketing strategies, were able to collaboratively create promotional content, and successfully established a small online marketplace network within their community. This activity contributed to empowering local entrepreneurs by fostering participatory approaches and sustainable marketing practices.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to enhance service quality and strengthen human resource capacity among MSME entrepreneurs in Air Batu Village, Palembang. The activity was carried out on May 4, 2025, involved three lecturers from Universitas Pamulang as facilitators. A total of 22 MSME participants from Air Batu Village took part in the program. The PKM implementation consisted of three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. During the execution stage, several methods were applied, including material presentation, hands-on practice, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The materials delivered focused on improving customer service, business management, and sustainable practices. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of service excellence, business innovation, and environmental awareness in managing MSME operations. Moreover, participants demonstrated higher motivation and capability in applying the knowledge gained to improve their business performance. This program is expected to create a positive impact on the development and competitiveness of MSMEs in Air Batu Village.

Abstract

The community service activity aimed to enhance the administrative performance of village employees through the utilization of E-Office technology in Cicalengka Village, Tangerang Regency. This program was initiated to address the challenges faced by village administrations that still relied on conventional and manual systems, which often hindered efficiency and transparency. The purpose of the activity was to improve employees’ understanding and skills in using digital office applications to support effective governance. The PKM was conducted on November 2, 2025, in Cicalengka Village by three lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, involving fifteen village officials as participants. The implementation consisted of three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. The execution stage included material presentation, hands-on practice, discussion, and question-and-answer sessions. The results showed significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and ability to operate E-Office applications, leading to more efficient document management and communication within the village administration. Furthermore, participants expressed strong enthusiasm to integrate E-Office systems into their daily work processes. This program successfully contributed to strengthening digital-based governance at the village level.

Abstract

Adolescent human resource development is essential for fostering positive character and personal growth. In Desa Situ Gadung, Tangerang Regency, students have limited access to structured programs that support character building and self-development. This community service activity aimed to optimize adolescent potential through character and self-development programs at Yayasan Tajaul Karomatu. The activity was conducted on October 25, 2025, and implemented by three lecturers from Universitas Pamulang. Participants were 23 grade 6 elementary school students. The implementation consisted of three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. Methods included material presentation, practical exercises, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to promote engagement and understanding. The results indicated significant improvements in students’ understanding of character values, self-confidence, responsibility, and teamwork. Participants actively engaged in all activities and showed enthusiasm for applying the knowledge and skills in daily life. This program demonstrates the effectiveness of structured interventions in supporting holistic adolescent development and can serve as a model for similar initiatives aimed at strengthening youth potential in rural communities.

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital economy has required Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance their ability to manage financial transactions through digital platforms. Many local traders still face challenges in understanding and utilizing digital financial tools effectively. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve digital financial literacy among MSME actors around Tajaul Karomatu School in Situ Gadung Village, Tangerang Regency. The activity was carried out on August 19, 2025, by nine lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, involving 30 local traders as participants. The PKM implementation consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. The activities included material presentation, practical sessions, discussions, and a question-and-answer segment. Through these methods, participants were introduced to the concepts of digital financial management, online transaction systems, and the use of digital payment platforms. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of digital financial concepts and their confidence in applying them in daily business operations. Furthermore, the participants expressed high enthusiasm and interest in adopting digital tools to improve business efficiency. This PKM activity is expected to encourage the sustainable empowerment of MSMEs in facing the challenges of the digital economy era.

Abstract

Financial management is a crucial skill for improving household welfare, yet many housewives face challenges in managing their income effectively. In Desa Situ Gadung, Tangerang Regency, housewives who run small businesses often lack formal knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and saving strategies. This community service program aimed to enhance the financial management skills of housewives to support their economic empowerment and improve household financial stability. The program was conducted on August 19, 2025, at Desa Situ Gadung and involved nine lecturers from Universitas Pamulang as facilitators. The participants consisted of 30 local traders around the school area. The implementation of the program followed a structured approach, starting with preparation, followed by the main activities, and concluding with reporting. The core activities included interactive lectures, practical exercises, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, designed to provide participants with both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in financial management. The results of the program indicated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills related to budgeting, expense tracking, and saving practices. Participants demonstrated increased confidence in managing their household finances and expressed motivation to apply the acquired skills in their daily business activities. This program highlights the importance of community-based financial education in empowering housewives and promoting sustainable local economic development.
