Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology presents new opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to expand their market reach, yet many MSMEs in rural areas such as Desa Situ Gadung, Tangerang Regency, face challenges in implementing effective online marketing, limiting their competitiveness. This community service activity aimed to enhance the online marketing capabilities of local MSME entrepreneurs to improve their business performance. Conducted on August 19, 2025, by a team of nine lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, the program involved 30 local traders near the school. The implementation followed three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. During the execution, participants received material presentations, engaged in practical exercises, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to deepen their understanding of digital marketing strategies. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills regarding online marketing platforms, content creation, and online sales techniques, while also fostering confidence in applying these strategies to their businesses. The interactive approach facilitated problem-solving and knowledge sharing, contributing to the enhanced competitiveness of MSMEs in Desa Situ Gadung.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted to respond to the growing need for high school students to prepare themselves for both academic and professional challenges after graduation. The program aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of self-readiness as they plan to continue their studies while working. The activity was held at SMK Perguruan Rakyat 1 Jakarta on 31 October 2025 and involved 16 lecturers and students from Universitas Pamulang as facilitators, with 50 twelfth-grade students as participants. The implementation followed three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. During the execution stage, the facilitators delivered learning materials through presentations, practical sessions, discussions, and question-and-answer activities designed to build students’ confidence, awareness of workplace expectations, and strategies for academic–work balance. The results indicate that participants gained clearer insight into managing time, developing soft skills, adapting to academic demands, and preparing for early career challenges. Students also expressed increased motivation to pursue higher education while working and felt better equipped to make informed decisions about their future pathways. Overall, the program successfully enhanced students’ readiness to transition into both academic and professional environments.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) focuses on developing effective strategies to help students balance academic and professional demands, particularly in preparation for continuing their education while working after graduation. The activity was motivated by the increasing need for high school students to understand self-readiness, time management, and adaptability as they transition into higher education and employment. The main objective of the program was to enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and confidence in managing dual roles as workers and university students. The PKM was conducted at SMK Perguruan Rakyat 1 Jakarta on 31 October 2025, involving 16 lecturers and students from Universitas Pamulang as facilitators and 50 twelfth-grade students as participants. The implementation consisted of three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. The execution phase included material presentation, hands-on practice, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions designed to encourage active participation and reflection. The results show that students gained a clearer understanding of the challenges and strategies required to balance work and study, demonstrated increased motivation, and expressed positive responses toward the practical guidance provided. Overall, the program effectively supported students’ readiness to pursue higher education while entering the workforce.

Abstract

Balancing academic responsibilities and work commitments is a significant challenge for students who plan to pursue higher education while working, requiring early preparation and awareness of potential risks. This community service activity aimed to provide practical approaches and strategies for maintaining academic-work balance and to equip students with knowledge and skills to manage risks effectively when studying while working. The activity was conducted at SMK Perguruan Rakyat 1 Jakarta on August 28, 2025, involving ten facilitators, consisting of students and lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, and 30 twelfth-grade students as participants. The implementation followed three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. Methods included interactive lectures, practical exercises, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, all designed to share knowledge and real-life experiences regarding self-readiness, time management, and risk awareness. The activity successfully enhanced participants’ understanding of the challenges and potential risks associated with balancing work and study, enabling them to develop practical strategies for task prioritization, effective time management, and maintaining academic performance while working. Active participation and reflection during discussions fostered greater preparedness for future academic and professional responsibilities, encouraging students to make informed decisions and anticipate challenges in their dual role as students and workers.

Abstract

Human resources and soft skills are critical components for the improvement of educational institutions. At Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tajaul Karomatu in Tangerang Regency, there is a need to enhance the competencies of teachers, staff, and student leaders to support the quality of education. This community service program (PKM) aimed to improve the quality of human resources and soft skills of the school members. The PKM was carried out on October 5, 2025, by six lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, involving 24 participants consisting of teachers, school staff, and OSIS members. The program was conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. The implementation involved a combination of methods, including material presentation, practical exercises, discussion, and question-and-answer sessions. The results showed that participants significantly increased their understanding and application of effective communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Participants also reported enhanced confidence in performing their professional and organizational duties. Furthermore, the interactive methods encouraged active engagement, allowing participants to immediately practice the skills learned. This PKM demonstrated that structured training programs could effectively improve both technical competencies and interpersonal skills, contributing to the overall development of the school community. The collaboration between universities and schools provides a sustainable model for human resource development in educational institutions.

Abstract

This community service program (PKM) was initiated in response to the limited financial literacy and investment awareness among adolescents. The activity aimed to improve students’ understanding of basic investment concepts, introduce safe and youth-appropriate investment instruments, and promote early financial planning habits. The PKM was conducted at Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tajaul Karomatu, Tangerang Regency, on 7–8 October 2025 by six lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, involving 40 ninth-grade junior high school students. The implementation followed three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. During the execution stage, several interactive methods were applied, including material presentation, hands-on practice, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to enhance student engagement and comprehension. The results show that participants demonstrated increased awareness of investment benefits, improved understanding of financial management, and greater interest in applying simple investment practices suitable for their age. Students also reported feeling more confident in identifying legal and trustworthy investment platforms compared to fraudulent schemes. Overall, the program successfully strengthened the participants’ financial literacy and provided early exposure to essential investment knowledge that supports responsible financial behavior.

Abstract

This community service program (PKM) was conducted to strengthen entrepreneurial-based human resource development among students at Yayasan Tajaul Karomatu, Kabupaten Tangerang. The background of this activity stems from the need to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and essential skills in young learners to prepare them for future economic challenges and opportunities. The program aimed to enhance students’ knowledge, creativity, and confidence in entrepreneurship through structured learning and hands-on experience. The PKM was implemented on 7–8 October 2025 by six lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and involved 40 ninth-grade students. The implementation methods included material presentation, practical activities, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The activity followed three main stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. The results indicated an increase in students’ understanding of basic entrepreneurial concepts, improved ability to generate simple business ideas, and greater enthusiasm for exploring entrepreneurship as a potential future pathway. Students also demonstrated stronger soft skills, such as teamwork and communication, during the practice and discussion sessions. Overall, the PKM program effectively fostered entrepreneurial awareness and skills among participating students, contributing to the development of more innovative and adaptable young human resources.

Abstract

Microfinance plays a significant role in supporting the growth and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in rural areas with limited access to formal financial institutions. This community service program (PKM) was conducted to enhance the understanding and capability of local traders in utilizing microfinance as a tool for business development in Situ Gadung Village, Tangerang Regency. The objective of this PKM activity was to increase participants’ knowledge of microfinance schemes and strengthen their skills in managing financing effectively to improve business performance. The program was carried out on 26 October 2025 by three lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and was attended by 23 local traders. The implementation method involved material presentation, hands-on practice, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The PKM activities followed three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. The results show that participants gained improved understanding of microfinance concepts, were able to identify appropriate financing options, and demonstrated enhanced skills in applying basic financial management techniques to support their business growth. Overall, the program contributed to strengthening the financial literacy and business capacity of MSME actors in Situ Gadung Village.

Abstract

Tilapia farming in rural communities often faces challenges related to low growth rates and inconsistent seed quality. To address these issues, a community service program (PKM) was implemented to introduce monosex tilapia production technology combined with maggot-meal feed as an alternative protein source. This program aimed to enhance the technical capacity of local fish farmers and improve cultivation productivity in Tanjung Raya Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. The PKM was carried out on 22 September 2025 by a team of three lecturers from Universitas Sriwijaya and involved 15 members of the Maju Makmur Fish Farmers Group. The activity followed three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. The implementation consisted of material presentations, hands-on practice, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. Participants were trained on monosex tilapia seed production techniques, the use of maggot-meal combination feed, and best management practices for freshwater aquaculture. The program resulted in increased farmer knowledge, improved skills in applying monosex technology, and greater understanding of cost-efficient feed formulation. Participants expressed high enthusiasm and readiness to adopt the introduced methods in their farming operations. This PKM activity is expected to support the sustainability and productivity of tilapia aquaculture in the village.

Abstract

Indonesian migrant children in Malaysia often have limited access to digital resources, which restricts their opportunities to develop essential internet and information-literacy skills. Responding to this issue, this community service program was designed to introduce basic internet technology and promote safe, responsible, and purposeful digital use among students at SB At-Tanzil Hicom. The program aimed to strengthen their understanding of online safety, digital ethics, and the use of internet-based learning tools. A participatory approach was adopted through interactive workshops, guided practice sessions, and mentoring activities. Data were collected through observations, pre- and post-tests, and feedback from participants and teachers. The results show a clear improvement in students’ ability to navigate websites, identify credible information, and recognize online risks. Knowledge scores increased significantly, reflecting stronger digital awareness and confidence in using technology for learning. Despite challenges related to limited devices and unstable connectivity, the program effectively introduced internet literacy in a way that was accessible, contextual, and engaging for migrant learners. These outcomes highlight the importance of sustained support and collaborative efforts to ensure digital inclusion within migrant education settings.
