Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the factors that influence fixed asset investment decisions in basic and chemical manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2019 period, where the independent variables used are current ratio, operational cash flow, return on assets and age of the company and investment decisions on fixed assets as the dependent variable. This study used purposive sampling to obtain 22 sample companies from 74 population companies listed on the IDX for the period 2017-2019 (3 years). Simultaneous research results with the F test show that the current ratio, operating cash flow, return on assets, and company age together have a positive effect on fixed-asset investment decisions. The results of the research partially with the T-test showed that the current ratio and operating cash flow variables partially had no significant effect on fixed-asset investment decisions, while return on assets and company age had a partial and significant effect on fixed-asset investment decisions with the coefficient determination of 21.10%. Keywords: Company Age, Current Ratio, Fixed Asset Investment Decisions, Operational Cash Flow, Return On Assets

Abstract

The diversity of university students is a challenge for the use of educational media. This study shows whether ICT skills influence the use of the e-learning system based on the student response. In this case, the e-learning method is a modern way of adding technical features to teaching and learning practices, although it has been initiated and used elsewhere. By doing this study, the lecturers will be able to get an understanding of the reactions of their students using e-learning, so that they can consider implementing this learning system by looking at the level of student ability. This study is a descriptive research. The research instrument consisted of the ICT skills questionnaire and the student impression questionnaire on e-learning. Data was analyzed using a descriptive statistical technique. This study showed that the higher the student ICT skills score, the higher the student experience of e-learning. It can be inferred that there is a major relationship between the degree of ICT skills and student responses to e-learning systems.

This study looked at how much Earnings Per Share (EPS), interest rates, Return on Equity (ROE), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and inflation had on stock prices at the same time. This type of research uses a quantitative approach because the data used is numbers and the method used is the multiple linear regression method. The banking sector's population is 45 companies, chosen using a purposive sampling technique, so the number of samples studied was 22, with a total of 66 samples collected over a three-year period. The result of Adjusted R Square is 0.750 with the intention that 75% of the independent variables (EPS, interest rate, ROE, NIM, and inflation) affect the dependent variable (stock price) while the remaining 25% is explained by other variables. According to the observation results, EPS and NIM have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, the interest rate has a negative and insignificant effect on stock prices, ROE has a negative and significant effect on stock prices, and inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on stock prices.Simultaneously, EPS, interest rates, ROE, NIM, and inflation have a significant effect on stock prices in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019

Abstract

The Inlis application at the Archives and Library Office of West Sumatra Province is used to manage the lending and book return process carried out by each library member. With the library system, it can help the librarians to know the flow of books in and out of the delay in returning the library members to determine the fines to be paid by the members. Based on this the authors will measure the quality of the Library Information System because in this system the quality of the system is unknown, thus identifying the accuracy, completeness and quality of the software in the Inlis Application. The measurement method in this study is the McCall Method. The results based on the McCall Method show that the quality of the Inlis Application is good with a percentage value of 73%, with the best indicator value, namely reliability with a yield of 73% and the worst indicator value, ie with a result of 51%

Abstract

Anagement of human resources (HR) from an office affects many aspects that determine the success of the work of the Village Office. One of the most important things in HR management in an office is the selection of the best employees to spur employee morale in improving their dedication and performance. However, in reality, the Manggung Village Office has not been optimal in the implementation of the selection of the best employees, this is due to the unavailability of media that processes employee assessments and provides recommendations in selecting the best employees. The Decision Support System can adjust to the Manggung Village Office in optimizing the selection of the best employees. The purpose of this research is to produce the best employee information based on the needs of the Manggung Village Office. Decision Support Systems are part of computer-based information systems including knowledge-based systems or knowledge management that are used to support decision making in an organization or office. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), the calculation of this method is to use the result of the largest value that will be selected as the best alternative, the calculation will be appropriate if the selected alternative meets the predetermined criteria. This decision support system for selecting the best employee was developed using the PHP programming language (Hypertext Processor File), as well as the MySQL database as the database server. The results of this study indicate that the best employee ranking with the highest score

Abstract

Post-traumatic growth (PTG) is the positive growth of individuals after facing a life crisis due to a traumatic event. This study aims to determine the role of big five personalities, social support, and gender towards PTG of Central Sulawesi natural disaster survivors. This research uses the descriptive quantitative method. The participants in this study were 128 survivors of natural disasters in Central Sulawesi and adults, 43 males and 85 females. The instruments used in this study were the post-traumatic growth scale, the IPIP-BFM-25 Indonesia scale, and the social support scale. The data analysis technique used in this study was covariance analysis with SPSS 21.0 for windows software. This study indicates that big five personalities, social support, and gender play a role simultaneously and significantly towards PTG with coefficient F = 15,600 (p = 0,000; p < 0,01). Extraversion has a significant positive role in PTG with coefficient F = 20,760 (p = 0,000; p < 0,01), agreeableness has a significant positive role towards PTG with coefficient F = 50,506 (p = 0,000; p < 0,01), and conscientiousness has significant positive role in PTG with coefficient F = 1350,684 (p = 0,000; p < 0,01). This study shows the big five personalities, social support, and gender simultaneously have a role in the PTG development of natural disaster survivors. Emotional stability, intellect, social support, and gender do not have a direct role in PTG. Survivors have a high chance to reach PTG with high extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness. Keywords: Big five personality, gender, post-traumatic growth, social support
