Jurnal Manajemen is a scientific communication media published by the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, University of Palembang. In addition, the Management Journal is also a medium for disseminating research information for lecturers, researchers and practitioners. The Palembang Economics Faculty Management Journal is published fourty times a year with ISSN print 2686-2530 and ISSN online 2089-6832. In this Jurnal Manajemen, authors are required to register first and upload manuscripts online. The script creation process can be monitored via OJS. Authors, readers, editorial boards, editors, and peer reviewers can get the status of manuscripts in real time. A hard copy of the journal can be purchased by the system. Several other changes are announced in the History Journal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of product, price, location and promotion variables on purchasing decisions at Kebagusan IV Residence. In this study, quantitative methods were used to determine and analyze the effect of product, price, location and promotion on purchasing decisions at Kebagusan IV Residence. This population & sample collection was taken from consumers who bought houses at Kebagusan IV Residence by distributing questionnaires to 35 respondents. Processing and analyzing the collected data, especially by using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential analysis, namely by using the SmartPLS application (V.4.0). The results of this study indicate that (1) Product has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a path coefficient of 0.512. (2) Price has a negative and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a path coefficient of -0.178. (3) Location has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a path coefficient of 0.232. (4) Promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a path coefficient of 0.451. Product, price, location and promotion together influence 0.917 (91.7%) purchasing decisions, while the remaining 0.083 (8.3%) are influenced by other factors outside of the variables of this study such as economic, psychological, family and socio-cultural factors.

Abstract

E-commerce is a place for people to make both planned and impulsive purchases, especially for younger generations such as gen Z. This study aims to determine the effect of website quality, sales promotion, and shopping lifestyle on impulse purchases in generation Z e-commerce users (Tokopedia, Shopee, Lazada) in DKI Jakarta. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis which then the data is obtained from distributing questionnaires using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling. The sample used was 100 generation Z people aged 17 years and over e-commerce users (Tokopedia, Shopee, Lazada) in DKI Jakarta. The data analysis used is descriptive and inferential data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.2.9 software. The results of this study indicate (1) website quality has a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases with a path coefficient of 0.256. (2) sales promotion has a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases. Shopping lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases with a path coefficient of 0, 376.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the sales strategy for palm oil products from an Islamic Economics perspective. The integration of conventional marketing into sharia principles refers to efforts to combine conventional marketing strategies with Islamic economic perspectives. In collecting data, this type of research uses qualitative research with subjective strategies using library or literature study methods, especially information gathering methods by understanding and focusing on speculation from various related articles as well as interviews and observations. The results of this research show that by implementing a sales strategy that adheres to the principles of Islamic economics, a business will be able to build a strong image and gain consumer trust and not harm consumers and become a sin for producers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance with motivation as an intervening variable at CV Millenia Total Solution Palembang. The results showed that the first simple regression analysis that compensation has a positive and significant effect on motivation, compensation has a positive and significant effect on performance. Based on the results of both simple regression analysis can be done with intervening so that it is known that the value of t count 5.396 t table 2.040 can be concluded that motivation is able to become an intervening variable with the calculation of standardized co effientsn for the indirect effect of compensation on performance.

Abstract

The data shows that many construction conflicts arise from many factors. Indonesia as a country that has social and cultural diversity is certainly very vulnerable to conflict, especially in project activities. Diversity as a necessity in the state has indeed contributed to the emergence of many social conflicts, including social conflicts in projects. This study aims to determine the control exercised by stakeholders in dealing with external and internal project conflicts that can have an impact on project performance. This study with a sample of 35 samples and using the SEM-PLS method. Based on the analysis, it shows a conclusion that conflicts that occur in projects, both internal conflicts, external conflicts and conflicts of interest, if not controlled properly, will have an impact on project performance. This is very necessary for stakeholders to be able to control conflicts that occur in the project.

Abstract

In companies, differences of opinion are often deliberately created as one of the strategies of company leaders to make changes in the company. Changes can be made by making or creating a conflict. This study aims to determine the influence of conflict and leadership style in Palembang city. The target of this study is to determine the effect of conflict and leadership style on the performance of employees of PT Sapta Sourcindo in Palembang city. The method that will be used in achieving the objectives of this research is the survey method. Researchers took samples using convenience sampling techniques. The sample criteria distributed were employees of PT. Sapta in Palembang city. Numbering 40 employees. Researchers will ask questions about the conflict and leadership style of PT. Sapta in Palembang city in the form of a questionnaire. The results of this study state that there is a positive and significant influence between conflict and leadership style on the performance of marketing employees at PT Sapta Sinergi Sourcindo in Palembang City.

Abstract

This research is about Palembang local wisdom, focusing on Songket fabric. This research looks at the influence of acculturation of Arabic, Chinese, and Bangka cultures in the past on Palembang Songket motifs, especially seen from social, artistic and cultural factors. Thus, the purpose of the research is to examine how the management of the conservation of Palembang's local wisdom culture through understanding how the influence of acculturation in the past has created several Songket motifs that exist today. The method of data collection in this research is by using questionnaires to 100 selected respondents and semi-structured interviews to several key informants. By using SPSS version 25 to process and analyse the data, it was found that the interaction between people from foreign countries in the past and Palembang people has contributed to the existence of Songket motifs that exist today. Mainly due to social factors, art, and customs, about 50.4% influenced overall. In addition, the study shows that the conservation management of Palembang Songket culture is carried out by applying the conservation function.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of intellectual capital and capital structure on company value in the industrial sector listed on the idx 2018-2022. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study wa 61 industrial companies. The sample in this study was 20 companies. The data source in this research is secondary data. The data collection technique uses documentation thecniqueswith the helpof the eviewa 8 program. The hypotesis is tested using the t test at α =0.05. The reseults of this research show that intellectual capital has a positive effect on company value and capital structure has a negative effect on company value in the industrial sector lidted on the BEI 2018-2022 period.

Abstract

This research tests the analysis of the influence of organizational communication in improving teacher performance. This research was conducted at SMKN I Sungai Lilin, Banyuasin Regency with a sample of 34 respondents. The results obtained from regression analysis using the SPSS version 22 tool show that there is an influence of Organizational Communication in improving Teacher performance. Where the R results in simple linear regression analysis show a correlation between two independent variables on one dependent variable. The R number obtained is 0.527, this means that there is a strong relationship because the value is close to 1. Meanwhile, the R Square (R2) results show the value of the coefficient of determination. This figure will be converted into a percentage, which means the percentage contribution of the influence of the dependent variable. The R2 value is 0.278, meaning that the influence of organizational communication in improving teacher performance is 27.8%, while the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this research. The data obtained in this research comes from the answers to questionnaires distributed to each respondent. according to the results of statistical analysis, the results of the linear regression equation Y = 0.620 + 0.927

Abstract

Many aspects of daily life, particularly in the professional sphere, have been altered by the worldwide shift toward digital technology. Data Reportal, a research firm, said on its website that as of early 2022, 73.7% of the Indonesian population has access to the internet. When it comes to a company's digital growth, marketing on Instagram is a viable option. The goal of this design is to help grow the market for Palembang's Judes Chicken Restaurant on Jl. Puncak Sekuning by utilizing Instagram and a website built with the help of SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threats) and BMC (Business Model Canvas) analysis. Based on the research results, the customer segments of the Judes Chicken Restaurant in Palembang are all genders aged 10 years and over. The value proposition is the unique taste of chili sauce at an affordable price. Customer relationship, namely maintaining the taste of the product and holding promotions every month. Channel, namely implementing promotions on online applications. Revenue streams are cash and credit payments. The key resources owned are the production site, equipment and main materials. Key activities are maintaining the availability of raw materials. Key partnerships are raw material suppliers and plastic packaging suppliers. Cost structure in the form of salary costs, shop rental and raw material costs.
