Abstract

Students are a productive age group who are often the main target of marketing trendy, branded, and fashionable products through social media that are personal and persuasive. This condition encourages the emergence of consumptive behavior as a form of fulfilling a lifestyle to appear attractive. This study uses a qualitative method quantified through a Likert scale (1–5) with a Google Form survey, conducted in June 2025 among active students in Palangka Raya City. From a population of 37,504 students, 350 respondents were obtained through a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis with Smart PLS 4.0. The results of the study: the contribution of financial literacy, lifestyle and self-control simultaneously to consumptive behavior is 72.4% (strong category), while financial literacy and lifestyle influence self-control by 13.6% (weak category). There is a negative correlation between financial literacy and self-control to consumptive behavior, but a positive correlation by lifestyle. Self-control is proven to be a link between financial literacy and consumptive behavior. Even though students have good self-control, exposure to a consumerist lifestyle can still encourage the emergence of consumerist behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Non-Financial Reward System in Motivating Millennial Employees at Almuslim University. Millennial generation employees are employees born between 1981-1996 who are now starting to dominate the world of work. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. With the aim of evaluating the effectiveness of the non-financial reward system in increasing the work motivation of millennial employees at Almuslim University. The results of the study explain that there are 46 millennial employees in the Almuslim University environment, a general overview is obtained that female participation in this study is more dominant than male, where the percentage of women is 67.4 percent and men are only 32.6 percent. In terms of age, the majority of respondents are over 35 years old (60.9 percent), while those aged between 31-35 years are 26.1 percent, and the rest are 25-30 years old by 13 percent. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test, the significance value obtained is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. This indicates that non-financial rewards have a positive and significant influence on the work motivation of millennial employees at Almuslim University. This means that the better the non-financial reward system implemented, the higher the level of work motivation experienced by employees. The regression coefficient of 0.678 indicates that every one-unit increase in the non-financial reward variable can increase work motivation by 0.678 units.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically analyze the effect of financial application usage and self-control on the financial literacy of students at Muhammadiyah University Palopo. The main objective of this study is to determine the extent to which the use of financial technology (financial applications) and students' level of self-control contribute to improving personal financial management skills. The approach used is a quantitative method with a survey technique. The research population consisted of 180 active fifth-semester students, and 64 respondents were selected as samples using probability sampling with the simple random sampling method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed that both the use of financial applications and self-control had a significant effect on students' financial literacy, both partially and simultaneously. The self-control variable had a more dominant influence than the use of financial applications, with a joint contribution value (R²) of 50.2%. These findings indicate that students' financial literacy is not only determined by their ability to utilize financial technology but also by internal factors such as their ability to control themselves in managing finances. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for educational institutions to strengthen digital-based financial education programs and the formation of students' financial character.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Indibiz service marketing strategy implemented by PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Yogyakarta in reaching Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The background of this study is based on the low level of awareness and utilization of Indibiz B2B digital services among SMEs, even though the product is designed to support digital business transformation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving Indibiz Account Managers and SME customers in Yogyakarta City. The results show that the implementation of the 7P marketing mix and digital marketing strategies have a positive effect on increasing brand awareness, satisfaction, and customer loyalty. Product, process, and people elements are the dominant factors that shape customer satisfaction, while digital promotion and price aspects still need to be improved. A personal approach through Account Managers has proven effective in building long-term relationships with customers. This study provides an empirical contribution to the B2B service marketing literature, with an emphasis on the importance of educational communication and interpersonal relationships in digital marketing strategies. These findings also offer practical implications for Telkom Indonesia to strengthen education-based promotional strategies and develop customer loyalty programs in the SME segment.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Pekanbaru for the period 2023–2024 using profitability, liquidity, activity, and solvency ratios, based on the national assessment standard KEP-100/MBU/2002 for state-owned enterprises. The analysis seeks to determine the company’s financial effectiveness and its implications for operational sustainability. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using secondary financial data. Financial ratios including Return on Equity, Return on Asset, Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Receivable Turnover, Inventory Turnover, Total Asset Turnover, and equity-to-total asset ratio were calculated and assessed against the BUMN performance criteria established by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises. The results indicate an increase in ROE from 12% to 13% and ROA from 8% to 9%. However, this improvement was driven by a decrease in equity and assets rather than an increase in net income. Liquidity ratios remained below ideal standards, activity ratios were relatively stable, and solvency ratios were categorized as highly healthy. The overall performance score improved from 29.5 to 30.5, reflecting moderate progress. This study provides empirical evidence on the financial sustainability of a national electricity utility and highlights the importance of asset optimization and liquidity enhancement. The findings serve as a strategic reference for policymakers and offer a foundation for future research in public sector financial performance.suggest that companies need to be more proactive in fulfilling social and environmental responsibilities to enhance investor trust and market value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of personal sales marketing strategies on employee performance productivity at BPR Syariah Dinar Ashri Terara Branch Office. In an era of increasingly fierce banking industry competition, financial institutions are required to optimize marketing strategies that not only focus on sales, but also build strong relationships between sales staff and consumers. Personal selling was chosen because of the emphasis on direct communication, persuasive approach, and the formation of trust, which are expected to increase work motivation and employee productivity. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, and hypothesis tests through t-tests and coefficient of determination (R²) tests with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed that personal sales did not have a significant effect on employee performance productivity, with a significance value of 0.342 and a t-count of 0.973 < t-table 1.717. These findings indicate that the implemented personal selling strategy has not been running optimally, so it is necessary to improve marketing staff training, mastery of sharia products, and strengthen communication techniques to be able to support the performance and competitiveness of BPRs in a sustainable manner.
