Abstract

This study focuses on the urgency of the influence of Augmented Reality (AR) Technology and User-Generated Content (UGC) on consumer trust and satisfaction in Generation Z in E-commerce. This study looks at the increasing use of digital platforms among the younger generation, the purpose of this study is to see the influence of AR on trust, the influence of UGC on trust, the influence of AR on consumer satisfaction, the influence of UGC on consumer satisfaction and the influence of trust on consumer satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 400 respondents from the Gen Z population who are active online shoppers. The analysis technique is carried out by first testing the research instrument, namely the reliability and validity test, then testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Amos 24. The results of this study provide an explanation that the integration of AR technology in the online shopping experience, as well as the existence of content generated by users can increase the value of Gen Z consumer trust. This study provides valuable insights for the E-commerce industry in designing more effective and efficient marketing strategies that are attractive to Generation Z consumers. Utilizing AR and UGC can create a more interactive shopping experience and trust on E-commerce platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and organizational communication on the performance of Lazismu Aceh amil, with work motivation as an intervening variable. The study was conducted in several districts/cities in Aceh Province with active amil respondents selected through cluster sampling. The sample size was determined based on a minimum ratio of 5:1 of the number of indicators (Hair Jr. et al., 2021), so that with 27 indicators, a minimum of 135 respondents were required. Data analysis used Partial Least Square (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that transformational leadership and organizational communication had a positive and significant effect on the performance of amil, both directly and through work motivation. Work motivation was also found to have a significant positive effect on performance and acted as a mediator that strengthened the relationship between leadership, communication, and performance.These findings emphasize the importance of inspirational leadership, effective internal communication, and intrinsic motivation in enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of amil work in nonprofit organizations. The implication is that strategically strengthening leadership and communication aspects can be a key factor in optimizing the performance of Lazismu members in the zakat management environment.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of competence and leadership on organizational commitment, with job satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted among employees of SAMSAT agencies in Pidie and Pidie Jaya districts, involving 113 respondents from the Police and Jasa Raharja through a total sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using SEM. The results demonstrate that both competence and leadership have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This indicates that higher competence and effective leadership increase employee satisfaction, which in turn strengthens their commitment to the organization. Moreover, job satisfaction was found to significantly mediate the relationship between competence, leadership, and organizational commitment. In conclusion, enhancing human resources through improved technical skills and leadership qualities directly contributes to the development of a supportive and satisfying work environment. Such conditions encourage employee loyalty and foster stronger organizational attachment. These findings provide practical implications for formulating employee development strategies to promote a productive and sustainable work culture in the public service sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of media exposure and consumer awareness on purchasing decisions of McDonald's during the boycott movement in Pekanbaru. A quantitative approach with a survey method was conducted among 146 respondents who had purchased McDonald's products and were aware of the boycott movement. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS. The findings reveal that both media exposure and the boycott movement significantly and positively affect purchasing decisions. Media exposure and boycott movements also significantly influence consumer awareness. Meanwhile, consumer awareness has a negative impact on purchasing decisions and mediates the relationship between media exposure, boycott movements, and purchasing decisions. The model explains 60.7% of the variance in consumer purchasing decisions in Pekanbaru. These results highlight that purchasing decisions are not only influenced by rational factors but also by moral awareness and social solidarity. This study contributes to the literature on ethical consumer behavior and provides practical implications for companies in formulating communication strategies amid boycott issues.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of healthcare service quality, healthcare facilities, and community health center (Puskesmas) image on outpatient satisfaction at Sebangki Community Health Center, Landak Regency, West Kalimantan. The research employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 128 outpatient respondents. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, and coefficient of determination. The results indicate that service quality, healthcare facilities, and Puskesmas image have a positive effect on patient satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The findings affirm that patient satisfaction can be enhanced through improvements in service quality, the availability and comfort of facilities, and the strengthening of a positive institutional image in the community. Among the three variables, healthcare service quality showed the lowest average value, suggesting the need for greater attention in continuous improvement efforts. The implications of this study may serve as valuable input for Puskesmas management in formulating more effective service strategies to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of patient satisfaction, service quality, and health facility availability on outpatient loyalty at Kuala Behe Public Health Center, West Kalimantan. The background of this research is based on the importance of understanding factors that influence patient loyalty, as loyalty is a key indicator of the sustainability of healthcare services at the primary care level. The research employed a quantitative approach with 139 outpatient respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire designed based on indicators of patient satisfaction, service quality, health facilities, and patient loyalty. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The average scores on a 5-point scale indicate that most patients rated the healthcare services as good. The t-test results show that patient satisfaction (KPRJ) does not have a significant effect on outpatient loyalty (t = 0.223; sig. 0.824 > 0.05). In contrast, service quality (MP) has a significant and positive effect on patient loyalty (t = 4.157; sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Likewise, health facilities (FP) significantly affect patient loyalty (t = 4.812; sig. 0.000 < 0.05). These findings suggest that outpatient loyalty is more strongly influenced by service quality and facility availability than by patient satisfaction alone.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of budgetary solvency ratio and financial independence on financial distress in provincial governments of Indonesia during the 2019–2023 period. This research employs a quantitative method with a sample of 34 provinces in Indonesia selected through purposive sampling based on the availability of complete budget realization reports. Data analysis was conducted using EViews version 12 through panel data regression techniques. The novelty of this research lies in its modified measurement approach, where the budgetary solvency ratio is calculated by excluding Special Allocation Funds (DAK) from revenues and adjusting capital expenditure from total expenditure. Financial distress is measured in accordance with Law Number 1 of 2022 using the proportion of capital expenditure to non-transfer regional expenditure. The results reveal that both budgetary solvency ratio and financial independence have a significant positive effect on financial distress. These findings indicate that higher budgetary solvency and financial independence increase the likelihood of financial distress in provincial governments. The study provides practical implications for local governments in maintaining accountable and stable budget structures while contributing to academic literature through an innovative measurement approach aligned with current regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work environment and workload on employee performance at PT. Pegadaian Palopo Branch. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique, so that the entire population of 40 employees was used as respondents. Data were obtained through online questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 19. The results showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while workload had no significant effect. These findings emphasize that a conducive work environment can enhance employee productivity and achievement, while workload is not always a determining factor of performance. Therefore, the company is advised to focus more on improving the quality of the work environment as the main strategy in enhancing employee performance.

Abstract

The mining sector plays a vital role in Indonesia’s economy but faces challenges such as commodity price volatility, export dependency, and increasing global regulatory pressure that affect firm value. This study aims to examine the effect of leverage and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on firm value, with female board representation as a moderating variable.This research employs a quantitative approach with a population consisting of all mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2019–2023. Samples were selected using purposive sampling based on the criteria that companies remained listed throughout the observation period, published audited annual financial statements, and consistently disclosed ESG scores. Secondary data were obtained from annual reports, the IDX database, and Refinitiv Eikon. Data were analyzed using panel regression with EViews 12. The appropriate regression model (Common Effect, Fixed Effect, or Random Effect) was determined through the Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange Multiplier test, followed by classical assumption testing to ensure model validity.The results indicate that leverage has a positive but insignificant effect on firm value, while ESG shows a significant negative effect. The presence of female directors does not moderate the relationship between leverage and firm value but strengthens the effect of ESG on firm value. These findings highlight the importance of inclusive governance practices and sustainability strategies to enhance the competitiveness of mining companies. Furthermore, this study contributes to the literature on ESG disclosure and board diversity in emerging markets, particularly within the context of Indonesia’s governance system, which remains influenced by patriarchal structures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education and soft skills development on the entrepreneurial intentions of Economics Education students at Universitas Negeri Medan. Based on a survey of 41 respondents and a multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that both variables significantly influence students' entrepreneurial intentions. The results show that entrepreneurship education (with a t-value of 2.406) and soft skills (with a t-value of 3.844) have a positive impact. Collectively, these two factors can explain 71.4% of the variation in entrepreneurial intention. The regression model obtained is Y = 2.251 + 0.371X1 + 0.601X2. The conclusion of this research confirms the importance of integrating entrepreneurship education and soft skills development to increase entrepreneurial intention and support economic development.
