Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and describe the child's ego in students of SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. The child's ego is an action or treatment based on a spontaneous emotional reaction. Besides that there are also reactive, humorous, creative and initiative traits. The subjects in this study were three students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and the form of the research is an intrinsic case study. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, observations and home visits. Data analysis used an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This research is reviewed in depth using a transactional analysis approach. Based on the results of the study, the characteristics of the child's ego. The ego status of the conforming child is submissive, manipulated, spoiled, the natural child's ego status is spontaneous, rebellious, curious, and creative. The factors that cause students to study about the child's ego are (1) family, (2) ethics or culture, (3) loneliness. The impact the child's ego status includes the school environment, friendships, how to solve a problem. The role of the counseling guidance teacher is to monitor the development of students by collaborating with field teachers, homeroom teachers and parents.

Abstract

abstrakThis research was based on the   problem of   the students misconceptions on the acid-base material. To overcome this misconception, refutation text teaching materials were developed. This study aimed to produce a teaching material and examine the responses of students and teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak and SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak on teaching materials developed using the ADDIE development model. In a small group trial, the model was applied on 8 students of class XI MIA. In a large group trial, it was applied on 64 students and 2 chemistry teachers in the studied schools. The instrumentation of the research data used were eligibility options, student questionnaires, and teacher response questionnaires. The results of data processing showed that the teaching materials developed are suitable for use in learning from the validation of the feasibility of the material by 92.72%, the feasibility of language by 92.11%, and the feasibility of graphics by 95.89% with a very feasible category. Based on the results of student questionnaire calculations, the responses obtained were 95.31% in small group trials, 89.18% in large group trials, and 91.66% in teacher responses. This showed that the response of students and teachers to refutation text teaching materials for acid-base materials at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak and MSA Negeri 9 Pontianak was classified as very high. Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning methods to improve the achievement of civic education for SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang Class VII.B students in the 2018/2019 academic year.   This study is a two-cycle classroom action research. Each cycle consists of four phases: planning, action, observation, and consideration. The subjects of this study were SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang Class VII.B students in 2018/2019, for a total of 27 students. Based on the results of this survey, it has been shown that applying a learning model with the ThinkPairShare learning approach has a positive impact on improving student performance. This is reflected in a more stable understanding of the materials presented by the teacher (the percentage of learning integrity increases from cycles 1 and 2). 64.62%; 78.70%. In Cycle 2, the learning integrity of the classic student was achieved. In particular, in the student survey on the application of the ThinkPairShare (TPS) learning method, researchers did not set specific goals for success and considered the results of the second cycle of the student survey. The statement received a very satisfying answer and was sufficient to explain how enthusiastic the students were about using the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning method.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the use of videosribe media can improve student learning outcomes on energy materials. This research is a quantitative research. The experimental design used is a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study amounted to 32 students who were in class VII C. Statistical analysis used is the Shapiro Wilk method to test the normality of the data. Meanwhile, to test the hypothesis using the paired sample t test and N-Gain Test. All calculations were processed using the SPSS version 25 program. Hypothesis test paired sample t test, obtained a significance value of 0.081 0.05. It can be concluded that there is no increase in student learning outcomes on energy material in learning at SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak after being given learning by applying the Videoscribe media. N-Gain test, the average value of N-gain is -8.4444. Based on the table, the N-gain score category according to Hake, R.R, 1999 is included in the ineffective category.

Abstract

AbstrakThis study aimed to develop an independent learning of media in the form of an application with SWF (Small Web File) extension and can be opened via Android. This study used the research and development (RnD) method by adapting the Borg and Gall model. The data of this study were taken from student questionnaire sheets as well as the results of interviews with the third grade elementary school teachers of State Secondary school Number 17, Pontianak City. The results showed that during the process of the development of   thematic-based independent learning, students have been through 7 of stages in learning: the potential and problem stages, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The feasibility of this learning media in the first phase of the trial showed that   94%   responses of students lead to very decent criteria. Meanwhile, in the second trial, the response of students showed that the response from students was 96% having very decent criteria.KeywordsAdobe Flash Professional CS6, Development, Self Learning Media, Thematic

Abstract

This research aims identifying and alleviate the case of students who are addicted to playing online games at the State High School 1 Sungai Raya. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and a case study research form. The case subjects in this study were two people with the initials UDS and RM. Data collection techniques in this study used were interviews, home visits, and documentation studies. The results of the treatment for Subject Case I, namely: a) study participants have been able to sincerely accept what has happened, b) study participants are more mature in responding to problems received, c) study participants limit playing online games by making a time schedule and reducing time playing online games into a maximum of 2 hours only that was previously 5-6 hours, d) there is an awareness of wanting to make changes, e) study participants have willingness to socialize, and f) study participants want to develop their potential. The results of the treatment of Case II Subjects are as follows: a) study participants want to develop their study awareness, b) study participants   limit the online games playing, c) study participants are able to manage their behaviors, d) research participants are able to socialize with friends, and   d) one of research participants is able to forgive his family's death and is always grateful for the situation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the practicum KIT and the teacher's response to the media developed in the environment-based simple distillation practicum KIT for class VII at SMP/Mts Sungai Raya. The instrument used in this study to collect data was questionnaire. Based on the results of the feasibility assessment of the media, this simple distillation practicum KIT was easy to use in distillation practicum with the lowest score of 83.3% with very good criteria. Meanwhile, the highest score percentage is 100% with very good criteria, stated in statements 1, 2 and 5. The highest score percentage   showed that the environment-based simple distillation practicum KIT media really referred to the mixture separation material. Teacher commented that the practicum KIT helped carry out learning efficiently. Based on the recapitulation of the teachers"™ responses on questionnaire, the average score obtained was 93.29% with very good criteria.

Abstract

This research is designed as research on improving students' speaking ability for students of the undergraduate nursing program. This research used Role-play as a technique in teaching speaking in English course. The method of this research is called"   A   Classroom   Action   Research".   The subject of this research was the undergraduate nursing program in the academic year   2021-2022   semester 5 consisting of   24   students.   The data of this research were collected by using a measurement technique that was a performance test to measure students' achievements. The findings of this classroom action research showed that speaking ability in class increases by using the Roleplay technique. Based on data analysis, the mean score of the students on the first cycle is 6.770, which qualified poor to average, and the mean score of the students on the second cycle is   7.406, which is qualified average to good. It means that the action hypothesis of the using Role play technique to improve students' speaking ability in class is proven.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning saturation of students during the Covid-19 pandemic in class XI IIS SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive in the form of survey study research. The data sources of this research are the students of class XI IIS wit a total of 45 students. Techniques and data collection tools used in this research is indirect communication with a questionnaire. The results showed that the analysis of student learning saturation during the Covid-19 pandemic in class XI IIS SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak as a whole reached 67.4% with a high category which means that the student experienced learning saturation. Emotional exhaustion 67.4% in the high category, 67% physical fatique in the high category, cognitive fatigue 66,3% in the moderate category, 70% loss in the high category. Efforts made by quidance and counseling teachers to overcome learning saturation during the Covid-19 pandemic by providing information services 69.3% in the high category, tutoring services 72.4% in the high category, individual counseling services 49.3% in the high category, group counseling service 66% with moderate categories, and group counseling services 67.5% with high categories.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate how the online learning on history subject was planned and implemented. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher used a purposive sampling technique in which the research participants were the head of curriculum teacher, history subject teacher, and class XI Social Sciences 1 students at SMA Islamiyah Pontianak . The results of this study were lesson plans prepared by the teachers, such as learning tools, learning materials and the media used. The implementation of learning at SMA Islamiyah Pontianak had been prepared and carried out in accordance with the lesson plans prepared. Online learning at SMA Islamiyah used the following media:WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and Google Meet applications. In the implementation of online learning,  some  factors occurred:   there was lack of awareness by students in online learning, some students were motivated, and there was lack of supervision from parents. It was concluded that the implementation of online learning occurred in sample research was not carried out well.
