Abstract

This research discusses the teacher’s strategies in teaching listening at a Vocational High School in Indonesia during online class. The aims of the research are to know the strategies teacher in teaching listening and how the implementation of those strategies especially in situation which online class must be conducted in a Vocational High School in East java, Indonesia. The method used by the researchers is descriptive qualitative research method. The subject of the research is the English teacher in the Vocational High School while the methods of data collection were Observation checklist, interview guidline, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used data collection and documentation. The result of this study indicates that the teaching strategies used by the teacher was Planning, Monitoring, Evaluating, Cognitive, Metacognitive. The implementation of teacher strategies was the teacher looked at the syllabus with the lesson plan, material to teach in the lesson plan must match the class to be taught, the instructions in the listening learning process, then the teacher played the video in learning process. Hopefully, this study might be useful for other researchers as well as teachers who teach English in general and listening in particular.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Ice Breaking to improve student learning outcomes in Civics lessons for second graders of SD Quality Krembung. This researcher uses quantitative research with experimental methods and uses a form of pre-experimental design type One-Shot Case Study. The population used as the object of research is the second grade students of SD Quality Krembung. The sampling technique used in this study is a saturated sampling technique. The sample used in this study were all second grade students of SD Quality Krembung, totaling 28 students. The instrument used in this research is posttest. From the results of the study, the lowest student posttest score was 64 and the highest student score was 96 so that their average score was 82.07. It can be concluded that Ice Breaking has an effect on student learning outcomes in Civics lessons for second grade students of SD Quality Krembung.

Abstract

Currently, all nations around the world are being hit by a significant disaster caused by the Covid-19 infection. The Covid-19 infection finally had an impact on the world of coaching, including the strict learning of Islamic teachings. In a crisis like this, Islamic education and training actually plays an important role for students in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Because basically the motivation behind learning Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is to expand students' beliefs, understanding, appreciation and practice of the religion of Islam with the aim that they become Muslim individuals who are pious and fearful of Allah SWT and have noble character near home, social life, and nation. The purpose of the problem formulation is to find out more about the Implementation of Learning and Learning Obstacles that occur in PAI learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive qualitative method using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used in this research is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The research results obtained are: 1). Implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period at MI Hasyim Asy'ari Kejapanan. the implementation of learning during the covid-19 pandemic has been carried out quite well, it describes the status for implementing web-based learning. In the implementation of internet learning, educators have done illustration designs and have completed learning well, especially the use of learning media, methodologies, but web-based learning experiences obstacles in its implementation, unhealthy organizational conditions and difficulties in understanding students. teaching materials are tests in web-based learning. 2). Barriers to PAI Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic at MI Hasyim Asy'ari Kejapanan. These barriers include: Unavailability of web organization, low dominance of innovation and lack of adequacy in teaching and learning.

Abstract

The problem raised in this study is whether there is a positive influence of the level of parental education on the motivation and learning outcomes of students in grade 5 MI Asasul Huda Kepuh Kemiri. With parents who have good backgrounds, it is hoped that students will be able to get good and maximum learning outcomes at school. Education is a very important aspect to improve students' abilities and skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the education level of the tau people on the motivation and learning outcomes of students in grade 5 MI Asasul Huda Kepuh Kemiri. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used a quantitative method with a questionnaire/questionnaire which was distributed to all 5th grade students of MI Asasul Huda Kepuh Kemiri, totaling 36 students. However, due to the constraints of some students who could not fill out the questionnaire/questionnaire, in the end the researcher only got 31 samples. There are several stages that researchers must go through in research, namely interviews with homeroom teachers to get real problems, formulating hypotheses, making research instruments, collecting data, analyzing data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the education level of parents had no effect on the motivation and learning outcomes of grade 5 students. This was evidenced by the results of the analysis of the effect of the significance value obtained from the education level of parents with a motivation of 0.228 > 0.05, with a t count of 1.232 and t table 2,045 which resulted in H0 being accepted and Ha rejected, while the education level of parents with learning outcomes obtained a significance of 0,528 > 0,05 and t count -,639 and t table 2,045 which resulted in H0 being accepted and Ha rejected. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence and the level of influence of using Microsoft Power Point-based video learning media on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Keret Krembung. The research method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design type one group pretest-posttest. The subjects of this study were elementary school students in the fourth grade at SDN Keret Krembung. Data collection techniques using tests. Data analysis used t test (paired) and eta squared formula. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Keret Krembung. The result is tcount = 18,131 which is compared to ttable = 1,711 for a significance level of 5%. It is known that the result of tcount is greater than ttable (18,131 > 1,711). Meanwhile, the results of the eta squared formula obtained a value of 0.93. This shows that the video learning media based on Microsoft Power Point has a major level of influence on the social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Keret Krembung.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creativity of students in integrated learning at SDN Kemiri Sidoarjo in terms of creative thinking skills and one's attitudes and feelings. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in class V-A. This research was conducted from November to December 2019. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection data obtained by means of observation, interviews and documentation. So that the research results are as follows: 1) Student creativity in integrated learning or thematic learning at SDN Kemiri Sidoarjo can be viewed from two kinds, namely the ability to think creatively and one's attitudes and feelings. 2) Based on the results of the study, the creativity of class V-A students in thematic learning at SDN Kemiri Sidoarjo in terms of creative thinking skills is that students have fluent thinking skills, flexible or flexible thinking, detailing or elaborating and have skills in assessing. While the creativity of class V-A students in thematic learning at SDN Kemiri Sidoarjo in terms of one's attitudes and feelings is that students have imagination, feel challenged, risk-taking attitude and respect.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what the implementation of online learning is like at SDI Ma'arif Bandulan and to find out the benchmarks for understanding grade VI students at SDI Ma'arif Bandulan. In this study using descriptive qualitative research. The findings of the data found at SDI Ma'arif Bandulan in the implementation of online learning are that all teachers have applied their online learning method synronically, namely using WA-based applications as media that help the learning process and its implementation. From the results of the Implementation of Online Learning on the understanding of grade VI students, everything is complete.

Abstract

The purpose of analyze the correlation between self-confidence with science learning outcomes for third grade students at SD Negeri 190 Gresik. This research is motivated by several obstacles faced in the science learning process, namely the majority of students have problems in the learning process, namely a lack of self-confidence. Lack of confidence in science subjects like this will have an impact on the success of students in achieving the desired learning outcomes. This type of research is correlation research. The data collection techniqu used is a self-confidence questionnaire towards science learning. The result of the study indicate thet there is a relantionship between self-confidence towards third grade students science learning outcomes at SD Negeri 190 Gresik with a fairly strong relationship.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the character of responsibility in online learning. This research was conducted because there are still many children who are not responsible for example in doing assignments, mastering materials and collecting materials. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in developing the character of students' responsibility in schools through online learning well. Although there are some responsibility constraints experienced by students in submitting assignments late. Therefore, instilling character to foster good behavior in students, teachers must set an example to their students, especially responsible behavior so that children can become firm and punctual individuals in doing assignments. The responsibility of a teacher to students is to be a good teacher in science and character development, so that children have superior potential.
