Abstract

General Background Modern education emphasizes digital technology integration to foster critical and higher-order thinking skills through interactive learning environments. Specific Background At MTs Darul Huda, social studies instruction faces instructional challenges regarding student engagement, teacher digital literacy, and limited school infrastructure. Knowledge Gap However, empirical evaluations on how interactive gamified digital platforms specifically develop students' process skills and logical thinking in Islamic junior high schools remain limited. Aims This study evaluates the effect of using Kahoot as an interactive digital medium on student process skills and logical thinking abilities in social studies. Results Experimental results reveal that students using Kahoot achieved significantly higher posttest scores ($79.90$) and N-Gain ($0.406$) compared to control group taught conventionally ($69.43$; N-Gain $0.237$) ($p < 0.001$). Novelty This paper provides empirical evidence on gamified quiz mechanisms serving as real-time cognitive tools to systematically enhance logical reasoning under time constraints. Implications Integrating gamified platforms offers scalable strategies for educators to improve critical reasoning and bridge academic performance disparities. Key Findings Highlights kahoot integration significantly elevates social studies posttest performance over conventional learning methods. instant feedback and time-bound gamification systematically cultivate logical reasoning and cognitive process skills. interactive digital learning reduces student score variability and promotes consistent academic performance gains. Abstract

General Background Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) implementation serves as a crucial foundation for institutional development in higher education. Specific Background At STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib Surabaya, the system follows the PPEPP cycle to manage academic quality standards. Knowledge Gap However, the direct execution of this operational cycle and its actual influence on fulfilling faculty competency standards remain under-examined in Islamic higher education context. Aims This study analyzes IQAS implementation and its role in fulfilling lecturer competencies. Results Findings reveal that while IQAS execution directly improves professional research output and inter-unit social collaboration, overall faculty standard compliance reaches only partial levels due to administrative adaptation challenges. Novelty This paper provides a contextual evaluation connecting PPEPP operational stages directly to specific lecturer competency achievements in Middle Eastern-integrated Islamic colleges. Implications Strengthening continuous control and quality improvement mechanisms is essential to fully align faculty performance with national standards. Key Findings Highlights implementation of the PPEPP cycle improves faculty research productivity and inter-unit collaboration. compliance with faculty qualification standards remains partial due to administrative adaptation gaps. continuous quality control mechanisms are essential to meet full institutional educational standards. Abstract

General Background Qur’an memorization programs have expanded rapidly within Islamic primary education. Specific Background However, primary schools frequently face challenges in maintaining long-term educational quality due to unstructured management systems and unstandardized evaluations. Knowledge Gap Existing studies mainly focus on memorization techniques or short-term outcomes rather than comprehensive managerial frameworks. Aims This study analyzes the planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling functions of Qur’an memorization management, along with its institutional opportunities and challenges. Results A qualitative case study reveals that structured management featuring regular and specialized takhassus classes, supported by a tiered evaluation system, yields consistent memorization completion rates. Novelty The findings demonstrate that combining program differentiation with multi-tiered controlling mechanisms creates a scalable, structured model for elementary Islamic institutions. Implications Institutional commitment and active parental involvement serve as essential catalysts for sustaining high-quality memorization outcomes in primary education. Key Findings Highlights Structured management with differentiated learning streams drives consistent memorization achievement. Tiered evaluation mechanisms ensure systematic tracking and sustained learning quality. Institutional leadership combined with active parental involvement strengthens program sustainability. Novelty The study establishes a comprehensive school-level management model that embeds Islamic values directly into preventive management frameworks. Implications These insights offer a strategic operational framework for Islamic secondary educational institutions to optimize early marriage prevention initiatives. Key Findings Highlights Participatory needs-based planning and a matrix organizational structure enable effective multi-stakeholder collaboration between madrasahs and local religious affairs offices. Integrating educational methodologies with core Islamic values significantly strengthens student engagement and receptivity toward early marriage prevention. Abstract

General Background Islamic boarding schools serve an essential role in integrating religious education, moral character formation, and vocational skills development within modern education systems. Specific Background SMK Al Ikhlas Pasuruan relies on its central kyai figure as a spiritual leader and primary symbol of public trust to drive institutional enrollment. Knowledge Gap However, the empirical consequences of losing a central leadership figure on institutional reputation, public confidence, and student enrollment stability remain insufficiently quantified in vocational boarding education. Aims This study quantifies the relationship between the central kyai figure and student enrollment through simple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25. Results Findings demonstrate that the kyai figure significantly drives student enrollment, evidenced by a calculated t-value of 6.548 exceeding the critical t-table threshold of 1.699 with a 0.000 significance level. Novelty The novel insight highlights how central religious leadership authority directly stabilizes institutional viability and student recruitment in Islamic vocational institutions. Implications Educational managers must transform teaching staff into active recruitment agents to sustain institutional sustainability during leadership transitions. Key Findings Highlights Statistical regression confirms central religious leadership significantly determines vocational student enrollment rates. Absence of the primary leadership figure reduces institutional image and diminishes public enrollment confidence. Teacher role transformation into recruitment agency mitigates leadership transition challenges and enrollment declines. Abstract

General Background Secondary education quality heavily relies on instructional execution and professional duties performed by teachers within academic environments. Specific Background In secondary schools such as SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pamekasan, educational management involves aligning instructional execution with adaptive administrative frameworks. Knowledge Gap However, the empirical relationship between structured academic supervision, non-material motivators, and institutional administrative challenges under evolving curriculum policy changes remains insufficiently synthesized. Aims This qualitative descriptive investigation analyzes principal leadership practices in fostering teacher performance. Results Findings reveal that communicative mentoring, structured supervision, and non-material recognition significantly strengthen lesson planning, classroom execution, and academic discipline, although administrative workloads create operational constraints. Novelty The inquiry highlights a holistic leadership framework integrating dialogic supervisory feedback with adaptive policy support in a private Islamic secondary school setting. Implications These insight offers strategic guidance for school leadership to balance administrative burdens with sustainable teacher professional development. Key Findings Highlights Humanistic guidance and continuous mentoring strengthen instructional preparation and classroom discipline among secondary school educators. Dialogic academic supervision transforms formal administrative oversight into constructive professional growth and reflective practice. High administrative workloads present a primary constraint to developing creative instructional innovations.
