Abstract

Education in Indonesia is currently faced with demands to be able to produce quality human resources (HR), namely HR who are able to adapt to the current era of globalization. So education is a determining element in the development of human resources. Learning activities are the most important activities in overall efforts to improve the quality of education. This is because it is through good learning activities that educational goals will be achieved thereby influencing student learning outcomes which are an indicator of success in the learning process. The problem faced by teachers is the teacher's ability to design learning tools by paying attention to the environment as a learning resource. Therefore, before the school year starts, teachers are required to design lesson plans (teaching preparation plans), prepare learning tools/media, and material evaluation materials. The results of the hypothesis test in the table above show the significance value (sig.) or p for the learning model = 0.003. This significance value is smaller than the α value of 0.05, so Ho states "there is no difference in student learning outcomes in classes taught using a contextual approach and classes taught without using a contextual approach." rejected. So the research hypothesis states "there is a difference in student learning outcomes in classes taught using a contextual approach and classes taught without using a contextual approach." Accepted. In data presentation and data analysis, there are results that show there are significant differences in contextual approaches to student learning outcomes at Saparua Christian High School. The contextual approach provides better results than conventional learning. In accordance with the results of the t test with the help of the SPSS 21 program, the t count is 3.251. Where the significance level is 0.05, the t table is 2.055, which means there is an influence with the use of learning with a contextual approach

Abstract

Taman Safari Indonesia is a popular tourist destination located in Cisarua, Bogor, offering visitors the unique experience of observing wildlife up close in an educational setting. As one of Indonesia's premier attractions, the quality of service at Taman Safari Indonesia plays a significant role in visitor satisfaction. This study employs a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing Taman Safari Indonesia. The analysis reveals that Taman Safari Indonesia's strengths lie in its diverse collection of animals, comprehensive facilities, strategic location, and engaging educational concept. However, challenges include relatively high ticket prices, weekend traffic congestion, facilities in need of upgrades, and a limited variety of shows. Opportunities for growth involve the development of digital tourism, partnerships with external parties, and enhanced educational tourism. Threats encompass competition from other tourist destinations, risk of natural disasters, climate change, and economic downturns. The conclusions drawn from this SWOT analysis indicate that Taman Safari Indonesia has the potential to continue growing, but it must address both internal and external challenges. Several recommendations for increasing its appeal and service quality include adding more show variety, expanding digital tourism content, upgrading facilities, and offering more attractive tour packages. These measures are expected to enhance visitor satisfaction and help Taman Safari Indonesia maintain competitiveness amid rising competition

The SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) analysis method was employed to understand the context of the crisis and identify appropriate mitigation strategies. The findings reveal that Pizza Marzano adopted various measures to mitigate the pandemic's impact, such as adhering to health protocols, enforcing capacity limits, and enhancing take-away services. Public Relations (PR) strategies played a crucial role in addressing the crisis, including open communication, transparency, and leveraging social media to build trust. The evaluation of these strategies indicates that the actions taken effectively increased occupancy and maintained customer satisfaction. In conclusion, effective crisis management strategies and the role of PR helped Pizza Marzano withstand the pandemic crisis and reduce the negative impact on customer satisfaction. The insights from this study can guide other businesses in addressing similar crises in the future

Abstract

Democracy faces various new challenges in the digital era, which is shaped by rapid changes in information and communication technology. This research explores the impact of digital technology on democracy, especially through the phenomena of social media and disinformation. On the one hand, digital technology offers greater possibilities for political participation and citizen empowerment. Social media, for example, has become a powerful tool for political mobility and social activism, allowing individuals to express opinions, mobilize support, and even influence public policy. On the other hand, the digital era also brings challenges such as the spread of fake news and disinformation which can damage the foundations of public trust in democratic institutions. Additionally, the use of personal data by large platforms in politics, as seen in the Cambridge Analytica scandal, raises serious questions about privacy and political manipulation. This study examines various strategies used by states and non-governmental organizations to address this problem, including social media regulation, media education, and digital literacy campaigns. This research uses qualitative analysis of data obtained through interviews, surveys and relevant secondary sources. The findings show that although digital technologies promise to increase democratic participation, strict oversight and accountability of all stakeholders is necessary to protect the integrity of the democratic process. This research provides insight into how democracies can adapt and survive in the face of the challenges presented by the digital era
