Abstract

Lack of parking space provided by the Semarang City Government on Jalan MT. Haryono in front of Peterongan Market causes people to use the shoulder of the road to be used as a vehicle parking lot (on street parking) so that it has an impact on reducing the level of road use and road services that only pass through these roads receive a negative impact in the form of a longer travel time which ultimately results in additional costs Vehicle Operations (BOK). In addition, on street parking is also carried out by public transports that pick up and drop off passengers in front of Peterongan Market due to the lack of transportation stops (bus stops). Based on research conducted on the MT. Haryono, the worst service level is at 07.30-08.30 with a ratio value of 1.14 and has an average speed of 43 km / hour with a service level at level F. The service level at level F also occurs at 15.30-16.30 and 16.30-17.30. with the respective ratio values are 1.01 and 1.11. The most public transportation using on street parking occurred at 07.30-08.30 with the number of incoming public transports as many as 141 vehicles and 127 vehicles exiting, while the least public transportation using on street parking occurred at 17.30-18.30 with the number of incoming public transports. as many as 46 vehicles and public transportation out as many as 38 vehicles. The cost of congestion that will be studied in this study is the operational cost of the vehicle (BOK) due to a decrease in speed using the HDM VOC (Highway Design and Maintenance Standard Vehicle Operating Cost) method. Additional Vehicle Operational Costs (BOK) or external cost incurred is Rp. 168,51- during the 12 hours of the study.

Abstract

The building technology system is an inseparable part of the process of designing a building, because in producing a perfect building, of course, it must be equipped with components that support the performance of the building according to its function. In architecture, structure and construction can also act as an aesthetic element. So that by displaying the structure as an aesthetic element, it will certainly be able to bring out the architectural truth and honesty of the system. To produce structural designs as architectural supporting elements, of course, it is necessary to explore the potential of structures to enrich architecture. So that later it will be able to increase the architect's perception of the structure as an integral element of architecture and not just as an application of technology. Therefore, this method is expected to change the view of the structure as a technical component of architecture. So that it will describe the structure as an architectural element that is indispensable and comprehensively integrated and involved in making architecture that plays an important role involving the senses, hearts and minds of building users. And how structure can help to add and enrich the aesthetic and functional value of the architect's work.

Abstract

Porous asphalt is an open graded mixture with a large percentage of coarse aggregate, a small percentage of fine aggregate, thus providing a large air void. Porous asphalt is an innovation to reduce standing water on the road surface. Porous asphalt has a low stability value but has a high permeability value caused by the large number of cavities in the pavement layer mix as a drainage system. Porous asphalt is used on roads that have low traffic. This study aims to determine the value of the permeability and strength of the material based on the Marshall criteria with aggregates sourced from Kakaskasen and regulated in the laboratory so that it has parameters of mixture composition as filler and 60/70 penetration asphalt as binder. The mix design is based on the aggregate composition in accordance with the gradation requirements (Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course) or abbreviated as AC-WC and the approximate asphalt content is searched for a Marshall test object. The asphalt content was determined first using 60/70 penetration asphalt as a binder and a Marshall test object was made with 5 variations of blondos stone content and testing was carried out to obtain a permeability value where the water in the tube fell freely into the mold containing the test object at a certain height until it passed through the cavity. on the mix. The results showed that in the porous asphalt mixture, the best asphalt content was 4.7% with blondos stone content of 75%, the stability value was 870.1 mm, flow was 5.5 mm, VIM = 19.6%, MQ = 203.4 kg/mm, all the values of the Marshall criteria meet the specification limits. The results of the research showed that the permeability of porous asphalt was 0%; 0.48 cm/s , 25%; 0.81 cm/s, 50%; 0.60 cm/s, 75%; 0.34 cm/s, 100%; 0.63 cm/s, of all the asphalt permeability values that meet the limits of the specification criteria are 75% blondos stone mixture. Based on this research, it was found that the porous asphalt mixture using material sourced from the Loning River using a 60/70 penetration asphalt binder has a high stability value and has a high permeability value, but the mixture is still suitable for use on low-traffic road conditions. Thus, it is recommended for the porous asphalt mixture to do more research using different material sources and binders and further research is needed on marshall performance along with the effect of strength on the pavement mixture. Abstract

Residential settlements have a major problem, namely environmental pollution caused by the disposal of wastewater that is not handled properly. The largest source of liquid waste in this country is the result of household activities. Based on field observations, it was found that the gray water in Kecepit Village was discharged directly into the drainage. Drainage of wastewater into open channels, such as drainage channels, of course has the potential to be a source of disease spread due to poor sanitation. The wastewater treatment plant used for Kecepit Village is planned to use an Anaerobic Filter (AF) and Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR) unit. Determination of the population of beneficiaries is planned as many as 285 people obtained based on population projections in 2040 with a wastewater discharge of 25.65 m/day. The planned Anaerobic Filter (AF) has 5 compartments with a wastewater discharge for 1 compartment of 3.2016 m³/day. The dimensions of the length, width and depth of 1 AF compartment are 0.51 meters, 2.5 meters and 2.5 meters. While the Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR) unit is planned to have 2 compartments with dimensions of 1.58 meters long, 2.7 meters wide and 2.5 meters deep.

Abstract

Along the sultan trenggono demak − sultan fatah demak road, many are found slow pathways and sidewalks on both the left and the right. The sultan trenggono demak − sultan fatah demak road is one of the national access roads located in the central province of Java and has a function as a primary artery road. The purpose of the existence of a slow line on sultan trenggono demak demak fatah sultan's road is to smooth and minimize the fatality of the accident on the fast path, but the use of the slow line is not working as it should. The use of the roads has largely been affected by road damage, such as rolling asphalt and potting, so this can disturb the movement of road users. Thus, research was made to review the effectiveness of the slow path and to function well on the slow line of sultan trenggono demak road. From the level of traffic obtained from the side barriers that the road of sultan trenggono demak demak sultan's fatah demak was extremely low (vl). Compared with analysis of the characteristics of the accident in the slow path and fast track from 2016 2020, the rate of the accident rate continues to decline by 2021, which means the use of the slow line effectively keeps the rate down

Abstract

Along with advances technology in the field of construction. Concrete was used in construction activities such as high-rise buildings, bridges and dams. Concrete was defined as a composite material with the main constituent of fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, cement, and water. So much green seashells waste that made us interested to observe the effect of replacing shellfish shell powder on concrete mixtures on compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete. The aim of this study was to analyze the compressive strength and optimum flexural strength of the concrete with variations in clamshell powder 5%, 10%, and 20% at the age of 14 and 28 days. The research was carried out by means of mix design, by making Standard 25 MPa concrete samples as controls, then making a variation of concrete samples with a mixture of fine aggregates of shell powder with a composition of 5%, 10%, and 20% of fine aggregate requirements. Cylinder samples are used (Ø = 15 cm, h = 30 cm) and beams  (15  x  15  x  60  cm).  The  samples  were  compressive  strength  and  flexural strength at 14 and 28 days. From the results of the study at the age of 14 days the average value of the compressive strength of standard concrete was 25.46 MPa, in the mixture of 5% the compressive  strength  was  25.55  MPa,  the mixture of 10% was  29.504  MPa,  the mixture of 20% was 27.1 Mpa. From these result was known that the greatest compressive strength is 10%. While testing the flexural strength of the specimens in the form of blocks with (15 x 15 x 60 cm). From the results of the 14 day age test the average value of the standard concrete flexural strength obtained was 33.55 kg / cm², mixture 5% flexural strength value 45.33 kg / cm², 10% mixture obtained 53.9 kg / cm², mixture 20% flexural strength value 60.759kg / cm².

Abstract

The space are available for parking vehicles on the roadside in the downtown area and along main highways is carried out with still restrictions and controls and arrangements or is often called on-street parking (Clarkson Grg Lesby and Bary Hicks, 1988). This research is motivated by the problem of less than optimal traffic performance caused by the presence of on street parking on the bicycle lane on Jalan Kartini, Salatiga City. In overcoming these problems, it is necessary to analyze on street parking planning, and estimate parking fees along Jalan Kartini, Salatiga City. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive approach. Collecting data obtained from interviews, field notes, personal documentation, researcher notes, and other resident documents. The alternative parking simulation used is the parking angle position of four wheels 0o and two wheels 30o because the simulation does not exceed the maximum limit of the road shoulder, road capacity, free flow speed and degree of saturation. Then, also used the withdrawal of parking fees with the Flat Tariff method with a two wheeled vehicle tariff of Rp. 2000,-/vehicle while 4 (four) wheeled vehicles Rp. 4000,-/vehicle. So the projected total parking revenue in the survey location area is Rp. 51.830.000,- per year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by congestion on one of the roads, namely Jalan Menoreh Raya, Sampangan area, Semarang city, which is precisely at the intersection of Pasar Sampangan Semarang. At the Pasar Sampangan intersection, changes in traffic management arrangements have been made with the provision of road markings and zebra crossings, but it has not been maximized. Problems in 1) the level of traffic service at the Semarang Sampangan market intersection. This type of research is quantitative. Quantitative methods can be interpreted by collecting some data with primary data, namely direct field surveys and secondary data needed in this research. Based on the data analysis, the results of the level of traffic congestion at the market intersection are categorized as good, with a degree of saturation 0.6 this can be seen at the service level that shows service B with a delay value of 9.12 seconds/pcu (5.1 – 15 seconds/pcu) with good category. In this condition, it is unstable with traffic volume approaching the minimum speed and speed of 40 km/hour on inter-city roads and a minimum of 40 km/hour with a difference of 1-5 km/hour. Due to moderate traffic density caused by side barriers, illegal parking and drivers experience short duration traffic jams. For alternative solutions for handling the Semarang Sampangan market intersection, it can be done by looking at the road conditions where it is impossible to widen the road

Abstract

At the Taman Madukoro intersection, management settings have been changed from an unsignalized intersection to a signalized intersection, but in practice it does not function optimally. The problems in this study are 1) the effect of side barriers and traffic disturbances, 2) the level of congestion at the Taman Madukoro intersection, 3) the performance of traffic light at the Taman Madukoro intersection. This type of research is quantitative research. Quantitative research methods can be interpreted as methods carried out by processing primary data from field surveys and collecting some required information as secondary data. Based on the analysis, the results for side resistance are 1214.3 vehicles/hour for the west and 304.6 vehicles/hour for the east direction, so the side resistance class for the west direction is very high (VH) because the total weight is greater than 900 vehicles/hour with regional conditions. commercial area and high activity on the side of the road while for the east direction it is moderate (M) because the total weight is between 300-499 vehicles/hour with commercial areas and moderate activity on the side of the road. The level of congestion with traffic volume in the west is 2951 pcu/hour and 2466 pcu/hour in the east, the capacity is 1485 pcu/hour for the west and 1584 pcu/hour for the east and the degree of saturation is 1.99 for the west. and 1.56 for the east. Then the level of traffic service at the Taman Madukoro intersection is in the form of level F for both lanes. For slow flow conditions, low speed, volume above capacity and high side resistance. Traffic light performance with an intersection capacity of 1307.8 pcu/hour is green for the west and 842.81 pcu/hour is green for the east.
