Abstract

Endophytic bacteria are microorganisms that thrive in plant tissue without causing any negative effects to the host plants. The purpose of this study was to apply endophytic bacteria that have the potential to produce IAA hormones as biological agents in rice seeds. This research was conducted by testing IAA hormone using a spectrophotometer, testing HCN production using filter paper, biochemically identification of the isolate, and applicating endophytic bacteria into rice seeds. Endophytic bacteria have different abilities in producing IAA hormone. Based on the results of the study, the highest IAA concentration (57 ppm) was obtained from KSB1 (Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria) isolates and followed by KSB3 isolate with 56 ppm. All the endophytic bacteria isolates were unable to produce HCN. Results of the study showed that KSB1 and KSB3 isolate were able to influence the growth of root length by 5.62 cm and 6.70 respectively as well as the canopy height by 8.56 cm and 8.30 cm respectively. Based on observations of colony morphology, cell morphology and biochemical tests, KSB1 was presumably belong to the genus Staphylococcus. In this study, new information about endophytic bacteria that can increase the growth of Ciherang variety rice can be obtained. This study provides information that the application of environmentally friendly bacteria is important to preserve the environment and agriculture sustainability in Indonesia without reducing the productivity of rice.

Abstract

Stres akademik merupakan suatu kondisi berupa tekanan psikologis atau emosional yang dialami mahasiswa sehingga memperburuk kualitas tidurnya, Imana slaah satu penyebabnya yaitu adanya stres akademik yang tentunya berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan emosional, mental, dan fisik, serta performansi sisi akademisnya. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stres akademik dengan kualitas tidur pada mahasiswa Universitas Syiah Kuala. Sebanyak 70 mahasiswa (yang terdiri dari 19 laki-laki dan 51 perempuan) terlibat sebagai sampel penelitian ini yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Perception of Academic Stress Scale (PASS) dan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) digunakan sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian yang dilakukan secara online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara stres akademik dengan kualitas tidur (p=0,010, r=.305), hal ini dapat dijelaskan bahwa semakin tinggi stres akadamik yang dialami mahasiswa maka akan semakin rendah kualitas tidur mahasiswa, dan sebaliknya. Hasil temuan lainnya juga menunjukkan bahwa secara umum hampir secara keseluruhan mahasiswa memiliki kualiats tidur yang rendah (91,5%), sedangkan stres akademik berada pada kategori sedang.Academic stress is a condition in which students experience psychological or emotional pressure that decreases their sleep quality. Academic stress is one of the causes of this condition, which affects students' emotional, mental, and physical health, as well asacademic performance. This study aimed to determine the relationship between academic stress and sleep quality among Syiah Kuala University students. A total of 70 students (19 males and 51 females) selected using the purposive sampling technique were used as samples for this study. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Perception of Academic Stress Scale (PASS) were used to gather data for online study. The findings indicated a correlation between academic stress and sleep quality (r =.305, p = 0.010). This can be explained by the relationship between student sleep quality and academic stress levels; students who experience higher levels of academic stress also experience lower levels of sleep. Additional research findings showed that almost all students had low sleep quality (91.5%), while academic stress was moderate.

Abstract

Abstract The teacher's role in learning is not just the transfer of knowledge to students, but as a motivation and mediator who guides and conditions students to learn, so that they can acquire knowledge and skills and independently develop the knowledge they have learned. This process can be achieved by implementing a learning process that requires students to be more active in exploring, solving problems and learning in small groups, namely by implementing the Cooperative Learning model of giving questions and getting answers. This research aims first, to understand how to apply the giving question and getting answer type cooperative learning model in PAI learning. Second, to understand the implications of the cooperative learning model of giving questions and getting answers on students' cognitive and affective abilities. This research method applies a descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research used is a case study. The form of research used is field research. The techniques used in collecting this data were free interviews, participatory observation, and documentation with PAI teachers and 10th grade students at Miftahul Ulum Bondowoso High School. The results of this research show that students responded positively to the giving question and getting answer learning method. This learning method utilizes simple learning media, and has better results when used at the final stage of learning, in order to determine students' mastery of understanding of the Islamic religious education learning material that has been presented previously. The giving question and getting answer method allows students to receive direct feedback regarding their progress in class and their appreciation for the assignments completed.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of Wattpad-based learning media on the material "Staying Away from Promiscuity" at SMA Negeri 5 Luwu. This media is designed to increase students' interest and understanding in Islamic Religious Education. The research method follows the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Media is designed by creating covers, characters, and materials, then validated by media, materials, language, and learning experts. The implementation involved trials on 29 students and evaluations using pre-tests and post-tests. The study results showed that the media was declared very valid by all validators and received a positive response from students, with aspects of media, attractiveness, material, and language obtaining an average score of "Very Valid". The increase in the average score from pre-test (49) to post-test (90) and the percentage of post-test scores (80%) indicate the effectiveness of the media in increasing students' understanding and motivation. This study recommends expanding the use of technology in learning and training for teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil curah hujan Kawasan Karst Maros Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung dan menganalisis besar surplus dan defisit air DAS Bantimurung. Data penelitian yang digunakan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah pada penelitiaan ini adalah data curah hujan dan suhu udara 33 tahun (1991-2023) diperoleh dari data Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan pola curah hujan rata-rata bulanan selama tiga puluh tiga tahun (1991-2023) di Kawasan Karst Maros Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung memiliki tipe hujan berpola monsun dengan curah hujan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Desember, Januari dan Februari ini dikarenakan pada bulan tersebut dilalui oleh angin monsun barat sedangkan curah hujan terendah terjadi pada bulan Juni, Juli dan Agustus ini dikarenakan pada bulan tersebut dilalui oleh angin monsun timur. Analisis besar surplus dan defisit menggunakan metode Thronthwhaite. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode Thornthwaite, surplus tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Januari sebesar 428,21 mm/bulan dan surplus terendah terjadi pada bulan Mei sebesar 19,52 mm/bulan. Kemudian pada bulan selanjutnya terjadi defisit air pada bulan Juni sebesar 0,37 mm/bulan dan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan September sebesar 73,39 mm/bulan.

Abstract

Guru yang mengajar di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) menghadapi tantangan besar dalam mendidik anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK), terutama guru yang tidak memiliki latar belakang pendidikan dalam Pendidikan Luar Biasa (PLB). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak perbedaan latar belakang pendidikan terhadap kesehatan mental guru non-PLB di SLB, serta bagaimana mereka menghadapi konflik peran dan adaptasi di lingkungan sekolah khusus. Kegiatan psikoedukasi dilakukan sebagai intervensi untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai regulasi emosi dan strategi adaptasi bagi guru non-PLB dalam menghadapi stres dan frustrasi yang timbul akibat kesulitan dalam menangani ABK. Dari kegiatan penegbdian ini dapat dilihat bahwa latar belakang pendidikan yang tidak relevan dengan ABK memengaruhi tingkat stres guru dan menyebabkan masalah kesehatan mental seperti frustrasi, kecemasan, dan burnout. Pelatihan regulasi emosi serta program pendidikan berkelanjutan sangat diperlukan untuk membantu guru non-PLB menjalankan peran mereka dengan lebih efektif dan sehat secara mental.

Abstract

This study analyzes the obligations of children to both parents based on Al-Maraghi's interpretation of Surah Al-Ahqaf verses 15-20. The results of the study show that children have two primary obligations. First, doing good to parents includes loving, cherishing, respecting, and obeying their commands as long as they do not contradict the sharia. This obligation also includes responding to their calls immediately, being friendly, putting their interests first, maintaining relationships, sacrificing for them, and providing for themselves. Tafsir Al-Maraghi emphasizes the importance of love and devotion to both parents during their lifetime. Second, pray for the good of both parents, both living and deceased. Prayer becomes a form of devotion not limited by time, reflecting deep respect and affection. This study affirms the relevance of Islamic values in the relationship between children and parents, which is emphasized in Al-Maraghi's tafsir as an ethical and spiritual foundation for building a harmonious and blessed family.

Abstract

Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan proses rehabilitasi sosial penyalahgunaan narkoba di BNN tanah Merah kota Samarinda serta untuk mengetahui faktor pengambat dan penunjang para klien selama melakukan program rehabilitasi di dalam balai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus penelitian proses rehabilitasi penyalahgunaan narkoba di BNN Tanah Merah Kota Samarinda dan faktor penghambat serta penunjang dalam proses pelaksanaan rehabilitasi. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara Observasi, studi pustaka, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan didukung dengan sumber data sekunder yang ada. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai program rehabilitasi yang diterapkan, faktor penghambat dan penunjang yang dialami klien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program rehabilitasi yang komprehensif, termasuk terapi medis, konseling psikologis, dan pelatihan keterampilan, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pemulihan klien. Namun, tantangan seperti stigma sosial dan kekurangan sumber daya masih menjadi hambatan yang perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan efektivitas rehabilitasi sosial, perlu adanya kerjasama yang lebih baik antara institusi, keluarga, dan masyarakat dalam mendukung klien dalam proses pemulihan mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKS) based on Differentiated Instruction (DI) to improve the understanding of eighth grade students on the material of Two-Variable Linear Equation Systems (SPLDV) at SMPN 2 Enrekang. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes five steps: needs analysis, product design and development, implementation, evaluation, and data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the application of DI-based LKS can improve students' understanding of SPLDV material, as evidenced by a significant increase in pre-test and post-test results. DI-based LKS provides questions with a level of difficulty that is adjusted to the student's abilities, so that each student can learn according to their abilities. Thus, this study suggests the use of DI-based LKS for other mathematics materials as an effort to improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to understand students' perceptions of the HyFlex learning model. The method used was descriptive qualitative to describe the research subject. Data were collected through observation, questionnaire distribution, and interviews. The results showed that most students in the English department of Universitas Negeri Makassar support the HyFlex learning model, which provides significant flexibility in accessing materials and participating in class. There are several reasons underlying students' support for this model, among others: flexibility of access, increased engagement, customized learning experiences, technological adaptation, and adjustment to individual needs. In addition, the HyFlex model also requires several supporting aspects, namely: learner flexibility, flexible learning design, supporting technology, effective classroom management, fair evaluation, supportive physical infrastructure and technology, flexible lecturer engagement, commitment to collaboration and interaction
