Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan suatu kajian tentang orientasi penafsiran Sayyd Hawa dalam tafsir asas fi tafsir dengan corak tafsir dakwah wal harakah. Al-Qur'an ada tidak hanya sebagai seikat kertas tanpa pesan karena itu adalah wahyu Allah secara verbatim. Dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an tentunya mampu mengolah narasi-narasi tafsir yang dipersembahkan di kemas dengan pesan-pesan dakwah dan akhlak untuk mencapai dan mewujudkan individu, keluarga dan masyarakat Muslim yang unggul, Qur’ani. Penafsiran yang bercorakkan dakwah wal harakah, sebagai bentuk dan wujud kepedulian pada kondisi umat saat itu dan untuk memenuhi misi dan tanggung jawab dakwah amar ma’ruf Nahi Mungkar melalui karya Tafsir. Mengenai kitab al-asas fi al-tafsir adalah sebuah karya monumental kitabnya ini, Said Hawa menunjukkan usahanya menafsirkan Al-Qur’an dengan pendekatan ilmu munasabah serta kecenderungan tasawuf dalam penafsirnnya. Kitab tafsir ini terdiri dari 11 jilid. Karakteristik kitab tafsir ini terletak pada analisis aspek munasabah dengan konsep kesatuan Al-Qur’an (al-Wahdah al-Quraniyyah). Selain itu, orientasi penulisan tafsir ini berorientasi untuk menjelaskan aspek aqidah (ushuluddin), tasawuf, ruhiyyah, dan sulukiyyah. Perlu ditegaskan bahwa kitab al-asas fi al-tafsir ini mengusung teori munasabah sebagai karakter metodologis yang umum dan corak sufistik sebagai karakter substansi yang dapat dimaknai. Kedua karakteristik ini hadir dalam buku ini. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan library research. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Corak dakwah wal harakah adalah corak penafsiran yang memiliki fokus dan orientasi pada tema-tema dakwah dan pergerakan, atau pendidikan, atau jihad dan mujahadah, menyeru umat Islam untuk berpegang dan menghadapi kaum kafir dengan tuntunan Al-Qur’an, serta lebih mengutamakan pembahasan tentang dakwah, jihad dan mujahadah.

Abstract

In this modern era, various movements have emerged that fight for gender rights or gender equality. Islam, as a religion that brings grace to the whole of nature, does not distinguish between men and women in its teachings. In Alqauran there are 10 verses that discuss gender equality, however, some verses of the Qur'an seem discriminatory against women so they need the right interpretation to understand the true meaning. This study aims to review gender equality by referring to Tafsir An-Nur by Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy. Tafsir An-Nur is written using the ijmali method, which aims to explain the Qur'an in a language that is easy to understand by various circles. Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy interprets the Qur'an systematically, verse by verse and surah by letter, in the order of the mushaf, so that the letters and verses are interconnected. This research includes a type of qualitative research that is library research that uses thematic methods of figures with the primary source of interpretation of the Qur'anulmajid An-Nur and the secondary is books, journals, scientific works related to the teema discussed. The results of the study show that the creation of human beings was born from a married couple and Eve was not created from Adam's ribs, in the prophetic right all the messengers sent by Allah are men, in the case of marriage the guardian is allowed to refuse to marry if the prospective husband is not sekufu or if the dowry given is less than the mitsil dowry, in the leadership of the family the man has the degree of leader and the wife takes care of the household, in the public role, women only leave the house when there is an urgent need.

Abstract

This article examines the discourse on non-Muslim leadership through the lens of surah al-maidah verse 51. Because surah al-maidah verse 51 is often used as a reference for prohibiting non-Muslims from becoming leaders. This type of research is library research. This writing will focus on discussions of a literary nature, the study of which is by searching and reviewing various library materials that will be used by the author. This research uses the ma'na cum maghza hermeneutic approach initiated by Sahiron Syamsuddin. After researching using the ma'na cum maghza approach, there is no absolute prohibition in religion that forbids someone who is a non-Muslim from becoming a leader, as long as it does not cause harm. This is because leadership is an ability and readiness that a person has to be able to care for, supervise and protect the people they lead. Then, Indonesia is a nation state that does not adopt Islamic law as the basis of the state, and practices the concept of democracy, so that the appointment of leadership from non-Muslim circles in the country is permitted as long as it brings benefits.

Abstract

The hadith prohibiting tasyabbuh has a wide range of interpretations, from the limits of tasyabbuh to the implications for the perpetrator. Patel has captured this diversity of interpretations among classical scholars, focusing primarily on Ibn Taymiyya and Najm al-Dīn al-Ghazzī. Due to the limitations of Patel's medieval research, this study aims to complement Patel's research by adding the views of contemporary scholars. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical. The research steps taken are by describing the results of Patel's research first and then adding interpretations from contemporary scholars. Furthermore, the study focused on the interpretation of 'Abdullah Ibn Thāliḥ al-Fauzān because he more comprehensively explained the hadith of tasyabbuh. The study found that the interpretations of contemporary scholars still seem to follow those of the classical scholars who considered that one's appearance has major theological implications. Al-Fauzān is of the same opinion as other contemporary scholars. However, he adds the need for a more detailed ruling on tasyabbuh in a society that has been affected by globalization, because the social circumstances of today are different from those of the past, which were full of identity. He details the ruling of tasyabbuh from permissible to forbidden, and opens up ijtihad space for future possibilities. This research broadens the interpretative horizons of the Hadith on tasyabbuh, which has the potential to have wild interpretations when viewed only textually. This research only compiles the various interpretations of Middle Eastern scholars and no particular approach is used.

Abstract

Intercession is one issue that is often debated among scholars. In this regard, this research is motivated by the fact that in the literature there is a distinction (difference) of opinion regarding intercession in the hereafter that occurs between the theological schools of ahlus sunnah and also influences interpretation, among them represented by Fakhruddin al-Razi and al- Zamakhsyari. The approach method used in this study is the muqaran method (comparison). In simple terms, this research is directed to look at the things that make the scholars differ in their opinion in acknowledging the existence of intercession in the hereafter. As a result of the discussions presented in this study, the authors come to the conclusion that in discussing the term intercession among the theological schools of ahlus sunnah there are differences. First, in the view of Asy'ariyah, everyone except infidels is guaranteed to get intercession on the Day of Resurrection. Second, in the view of Muktazilah, everyone will get intercession on the Day of Resurrection except for disbelievers and those who commit major sins. Third, in the view of the Salafiyah, intercession is included in the problem of mutasyabihat, there is no need to interpret it because intercession is a privilege given by Allah to whoever He wills, only Allah knows its essence. The difference between the theological schools of ahlus sunnah in interpreting the theme of intercession can be seen in the emphasis of both. If Asy'ariyah seems to recognize all believers without the slightest exception, then Muktazilah excludes intercession for every believer who commits a grave sin. In the end one's understanding of intercession will have implications for the affiliation of the theological school one adheres to. If someone denies intercession for a believer who has committed a grave sin, then it is certain that he adheres to the Muktazilah theological beliefs. But if recognizing that all believers get intercession, then their affiliation is to Ash'ariyah theology.

Abstract

Community life in the economic field is growing, so that new forms of economic transactions are also growing, this is inseparable from the review of Islamic law. Therefore, the discussion of usury issues will always be actual, because it is directly related to people's lives. Banks that run interest-based operations are often associated with usury issues. However, when bank interest is associated with usury, this raises controversy and raises the question of whether bank interest is the same as usury. There are two groups that address this, first the neo revivalism group which states that bank interest is usury. Second, the modernist group that says bank interest is different from usury. In this problem still contains a question, what is actually meant by the Qur'an with usury that is forbidden. To get information about this problem, the author tries to discuss it in a scientific work with the title reviewing the statement of the views of al-Azhar scholars about usury, bank interest and credit.

Abstract

Many of the Islamic community have not understood the word piety in accordance with what the Qur'an wants to teach, so that is the reason for this writing. The selection of Tafsir Al-Misbah by Muhammad Quraisy Shihab because it is the work of modern/contemporary mufasir in Indonesia. In addition, this book uses the Maudhū'i method or the Thematic method. data sources in this study are divided into two, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources, the primary data source in this study is the book Tafsir Al-Misbah written by Muhammad Quraisy Syihab, while the secondary data sources in this study are books, articles, thesis journals, then books or other works that are relevant to the theme being studied. The implementation of the meaning of piety in everyday life, that true piety becomes the driving force to invite good and prevent evil (nahi mungkar), If everyone has the virtue of taqwa, they will definitely be the best people.

Abstract

This research aims to explore contemporary issues regarding democracy in the context of the Al-Qur'an. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and Maudhu'i interpretation. The formal object of this research is Al-Qur'an knowledge and contemporary issues, while the material object is verses in the Al-Qur'an related to democracy. Democracy in the Qur'an is considered something important and principled because democracy is a form of deliberation that produces agreement or consensus. The Qur'an has explained the principles that must exist in democracy, as contained in the letters ash-Syuara', an-Nahl, al-Hujurat, and an-Nisa'. These principles are in line with the principles of democracy in Indonesian state law, known by the acronym "luberjurdil" (direct, general, free, confidential, honest and fair). The qualitative approach in this research is based on secondary data sources, including literature related to the research topic, such as journal articles, books and other sources.

Abstract

The word ummah generally means a group, community or nation united by religious beliefs and practices. In the Qur'an ummah has been mentioned 64 times in twenty-five surahs with two kinds of forms (singular and plural) and different meanings. The meaning of ummah is not limited to humans alone but is also used to refer to certain groups, such as religions, times, places or animals. The term is even used for a flock of birds, as in surah al-An'am (6): 38. In this meaning, it illustrates a new insight into the existence of brotherhood among humans in this world. Therefore, it is necessary to study more deeply to find out these meanings in tafsir ibnu katsir, because it is a classic tafsir patterned bil-ma'tsur, namely the interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an, the interpretation of the Qur'an with hadith, the interpretation of the Qur'an with the words of the companions and tabi'in. This interpretation is critical and verification, with an emphasis on strict evaluation of the validity of the hadith sanad used. The explanation is comprehensive, covering linguistic, historical, and theological aspects, as well as providing a rich context through the causes of the revelation of the verse (asbabun nuzul). Ibn Kathir remains loyal to the principles of ahlus sunnah wal jamaah, maintains the purity of Islamic teachings, and integrates various disciplines in his interpretation, making this work the main reference in authentic and in-depth Qur'anic studies. This research is library research. The primary source is taken from Ibn Kathir's tafsir. Meanwhile, the secondary sources come from books, journals, scientific papers relevant to the theme of discussion.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the definition of prohibited sentences in the Koran. A prohibition is a demand to abandon an action from a higher party. This article explains the various structures of prohibitive sentences in the Al-Qur'an, which give rise to various variations in meaning depending on the perspective from which a commentator analyzes them. Apart from that, this article also explores the prohibition on disobedience to parents in Qs. al-Isra/17:23 based on the interpretation of the ulama. This research provides results with the first main interpretation, the prohibition sentence is a demand to abandon an action from a higher party, namely a demand to abandon something ordered by Allah SWT. Second, the prohibition sentence has several forms including; Prohibited sentences are in the form of sharih (clear), non-sharih, rhetorical form of kalam khabar (statement), and rhetorical form of kalam istifham (question). Third, in Qs. al-Isra/17:23, there are also obligations of a child to his parents, namely not to speak harshly or not to shout at them for bad actions, to speak good words to them, to humble themselves before their parents, and to ask for love from Allah for them. both, namely praying for both of them to be given grace.
