Abstract

Differences in economic structure, differences in income levels, food price levels cause differences in household consumption patterns. This paper analyzes food diversification in Java. Households are grouped by income group to assess the level of food diversification of each group. Households whose income groups Q3 and Q4 have lower food diversification compared to households in groups Q1 and Q2. The study results show that the value of BI is greater than the value of MBI in both urban and rural areas. This indicates that the source of calories does not come from only one type of commodity. The increase in per capita expenditure does not increase food diversification (the dependent variable is BI) for households in groups Q1 and Q2, while it is positive for households in groups Q3 and Q4. Food prices generally affect diversification. An increase in the number of household members will reduce the level of diversification for Q1 households. In contrast, increasing the number of household members will increase food diversification for Q2, Q3 and Q4 households. The level of household diversification in urban areas is higher than in rural areas.

This type of research design is an action research with video media, namely MD-My Friend., to 200 CHD clients in the community with a study period of 8 months, using heart rate measurements and anxiety instruments, and univariate analysis, to assess the characteristics of related variables. And bivariate analysis, continued with multivariate analysis on the influence of three meaningful variables. Based on the results of multivariate tests found that the age of the client of CHD affects knowledge, skills and self-recovery in CHD treatment on the application of MD-My Friend with P Value 0.001. Worsening of health conditions in coronary heart disease clients who are at risk 6 times with anxiety experienced. So it can be predicted that the risk of death from CHD cases will increase. As a physiological response that threatens a person's internal physiological state or psychological well-being, anxiety can intervene independently in a good and correct way. Therefore MD-My Friend as one of the alternatives to self-intervention in the Client CHD in order to be able to reduce his anxious condition, which also affects the condition of the CHD. MD-My Friend’s video has been shown to have an effect on knowledge, Skills and self-recovery are meaningful.

Abstract

Abstract

The high increase in energy use causes renewable energy solutions such as wind energy, geothermal energy, biomass and others. Biomass is one solution for Indonesia to obtain energy, because Indonesia has the potential for biomass, both biodiesel and bioethanol. The biomass to be studied is Bioethanol. Forest banana is a type of wild plant that grows in the forests of North Kalimantan and is not consumed by residents because there are many seeds in the banana. The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of bioethanol from forest bananas. The stages of the research method that will be carried out include several stages, namely 1) making bioethanol, 2) measuring ethanol content, and 3) testing the characteristics of bioethanol. The stages of bioethanol testing carried out characteristic tests including: 1) Ethanol Content Analysis, 2) Moisture Content Analysis, 3) Density Analysis, 4) Specific Gravity and API Gravity Analysis, 5) Calorific Value Analysis. Based on the research results obtained, the quality of the bioethanol produced has a density value and specific gravity in accordance with the bioethanol quality standard, which is 0.46. The calorific value which has a close relationship with API Gravity is close to the maximum value in the bioethanol quality standard, which is 3702.30 kcal/kg. The value of ethanol content and water content still does not meet the quality standards, namely 24.8% and 86%. This is due to the lack of distillation process in this study.
