Abstract

Low Back Pain at Causa Piriformis Syndrome is a musculoskeletal disorder that causes pain in the fifth lumbar and first sacral areas that radiates to the feet and legs due to an abnormal neuromuscular condition of the piriformis muscle or compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve running below through the muscles. muscle. Low back pain itself is something that is common in patients so patients seek medical help, whereas piriformis syndrome is a case that is difficult to diagnose. Electrodiagnostic consultants are often asked to differentiate between piriformis syndrome and radiculopathy. Low back pain at causa piriformis syndrome is caused by activities carried out in the wrong way and carried out repeatedly as well as a lack of education which results in pain in the back and radiating to the legs. This case study aims to find the benefits of physiotherapy intervention in the form of manual therapy such as stretching of the postural muscles, myofascial release, dynamic muscle adaptation, contract relax of the piriformis muscle, hip traction, and physiological movements in the lumbar region and the piriformis muscle. The research method used is a case study. The respondent used was a 48 year old patient who was a housewife who had retired from office work. This research was conducted 8 times for one month. Patients were evaluated using a visual analog scale (VAS). The results of using intervention in the form of manual therapy show a reduction in pain in low back pain at causa piriformis syndrome from a pressure pain scale of 8 to 3, movement pain from 8 to 2 and silent pain from 2 to 1. In conclusion, providing manual therapy intervention has benefits in Reduces pain in the lower back and piriformis syndrome muscle.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the differences in family needs that arise when children are treated in the COVID-19 Isolation PICU and the COVID-19 Non-Isolation PICU. This research was conducted in the period March 2020 to December 2021. This research is a quantitative study with a retrospective cohort approach. The sampling method used was Non-Probability Sampling. The number of samples for the two groups, namely the COVID-19 Isolation PICU and the COVID-19 Non-Isolation PICU at RSUP DR M Djamil Padang, was 62 people. By detailing aspects such as closeness to the patient, service guarantees, mental support, information, and comfort, this research explores the impact of the pandemic situation on families' experiences during their child's intensive care. The research used quantitative methods with a retrospective cohort study at RSUP DR M Djamil Padang, involving patient families from both groups. The data collection instrument used the Critical Care Family Need Inventory (CCFNI) questionnaire, which was translated into Indonesian. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the frequency distribution of family characteristics, length of stay, and family needs through relevant statistical tests.

Abstract

Indonesia has an increasing trend of hypertension cases annually. The incidence of hypertension in Indonesia was 25,8% in 2013 and 34,1% in 2018, with a higher prevalence in urban areas. Although the prevalence of hypertension is higher in older age, the potential burden of disease is greater at a younger age in experiencing cardiovascular disease and kidney failure in the future. This study aims to determine the relationship between risk behavior and psychological stress on hypertension among productive age in urban Indonesia. This is analytical observational research with a cross-sectional design that uses secondary data from the fifth Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS-5). The sample size was 3193 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis is univariate, bivariate, and multivariate. Bivariate analysis using Chi-square and Fisher test obtained factors related to hypertension incidence are age 55-64 years old (p<0,001), age 45-54 years old (p<0,001), age 35-44 years old (p<0,001), education level (p=0,004), physical activity (p=0,020), and obesity (p<0,001). There is no significant relationship in other variables, including psychological stress. While through the test of logistic regression in multivariate analysis, factors that affect hypertension are age (p<0,001), gender (p=0,011), and obesity (p<0,001). The study concludes that obesity is the strongest influential variable on the incidence of hypertension among productive age in urban Indonesia. After controlling for other variables, obese individuals had 3,538 times more potential to develop hypertension compared to non-obese individuals (OR=3,538; 95% CI=2,763-4,532).

Seeing how this phenomenon has developed, it is now important to understand the application of digital nomads in post-pandemic Indonesia. This research uses interpretive qualitative methods so that researchers can interpret digital nomad trends, while data collection is carried out through document studies and literature studies. The results of this study show that the use of the digital nomad concept is growing in Indonesia, and many companies and government institutions are implementing remote working, thus supporting this trend to continue as long as we work digitally.

Abstract

The presence of information technology generally has a fairly high positive impact on society. This can help facilitate various community activities. However, unfortunately, there is a lot of misuse of this technology, so as a result there is a need to learn the norms for using technology, especially among students. This research then aims to look at strategies for developing PKN methods so that they can foster digital citizenship by utilizing information and communication technology in schools. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach. The population used in this research was class XI students at Rawamerta State Vocational School. The results of this research then found that increasing understanding of the concept of digital citizenship can be stimulated through the preparation of Citizenship Education materials that attract students' interest. The attraction of a topic will be an incentive for students to be more active in learning, especially when the material is integrated into the context of everyday life. Contextual digital citizenship material can be presented in the form of concrete experiences, making it easier for students to understand the learning content. Thus, the development of digital citizenship can be successful through this approach.
