Abstract

AbstractThe low results of learning mathematics on the opportunity subject in XI Tata Boga 1 at SMKN 1 Tarakan as the basic of the research. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning model on the material opportunities in Class XI Tata Boga 1 at SMKN1 Tarakan.  This research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles, where the cycle stages consist of 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection.  Data collection techniques using tests and observations.  The instrument used in the form of a final test of learning to determine the increase in learning outcomes and teacher and student observation sheets to determine activities during the learning process.  Data analysis used the average value and classical learning completeness.  The results showed that (1) the learning outcomes of the first cycle of meeting 1 were 40.65%, meeting 2 was 46.9% and meeting 3 there was 53.12% who achieved learning completeness, in cycle II students' learning completeness at meeting 1 reached  62.5%, meeting 2 was 75% and meeting 3 there was 87.5% who achieved mastery learning.It can be concluded that the problem-based learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes on the opportunity material for class XI Tata Boga I SMKN I Tarakan. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Improving of the Study Result, Oppotunity Subject.AbstrakRendahnya hasil belajar matematika pada materi peluangdi Kelas XI Tata Boga 1 SMKN 1 Tarakan menjadi dasar penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model Problem Based Learning pada materi Peluang di Kelas XI Tata Boga 1 SMKN 1 Tarakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dimana tahapan siklus terdiri dari 1) Perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan,3) pengamatan, 4) refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes akhir pembelajaran untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan lembar observasi guru dan peserta didik untuk mengetahui aktivitas selama proses pembelajaran. Analisis data menggunakan nilai rata-rata dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar siklus I pertemuan 1 terdapat 40,65%, pertemuan 2 terdapat 46,9% dan pertemuan 3 terdapat 53,12%  yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar, pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar peserta didik pada pertemuan 1 mencapai 62,5%, pertemuan 2 terdapat 75% dan pertemuan 3 terdapat 87,5% yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajarmatematika pada materi peluang siswa kelas XI Tata Boga 1 SMKN 1 Tarakan Kata kunci: Problem Based Learning,Peningkatan Hasil Belajar, Materi Peluang

Abstract

The development model used is the Borg and Gall model of Sugiyono modification. In the Borg and Gall model, the Sugiyono modification consists of 10 stages, namely Potential and Problems, Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Testing, Product Revision, Usage Testing, Product Revision and Mass Production. The media testing phase is done through 2 stages, namely the assessment of experts and user response. In the assessment of experts validated by material experts, media experts and linguists. While the user response was tested by 30 students and 2 mathematics teachers. The results of analysis shows that the kosami product developed based on validation by material experts obtained a feasible category with a percentage of 79.68%, media experts obtained the category of Very Eligible with a percentage of 92.72% and linguists obtained the Very Eligible category with a percentage of 83.33%.While the result of research in the field by the response of teacher user obtained a percentage of 75% with a Very Practical category, responses of student users obtained by 87,33% with a Very Eligible category, and responses of student users obtained by 90,67% with a Very Practical category . Because it has fulfilled the feasible and practical requirements of a Kosami learning media consisting of aspects of material feasibility, media feasibility, feasibility of language use, and practicality of user response, the kosami can be used as a feasible and practical learning media for students of clas VII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan on  Number Material.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study is to determine the perceptions of high school students about the use of technology-based mathematics learning media. The subjects in this study were 108 high school students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire for students' perceptions of technology-based learning media. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistical analysis with qualitative methods. The results showed that 21% of students more often used technology to learn mathematics, 63% of students more often used smartphones to study mathematics, and 40% of students more often used learning videos to study mathematics.Keywords:Mathematics Learning Media, Technology, Student PerceptionsAbstrakTujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa SMA terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis teknologi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 108 siswa SMA. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket persepsi siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe problem solving abilities in solving linear algebra problems of students majoring in Mathematics Education at UBT in online learning, for each indicator of mathematical problem solving ability. The type of research used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The data collection method uses a problem-solving ability test in solving linear algebra problems in the form of descriptions. The test of mathematical problem solving ability is carried out online using the Zoom and WhatsApp applications. The sample in this study amounted to 73 students who were taken using a saturated sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the indicator for understanding the problem is in the high category with an average value of 77.35 or with a percentage value of 35.72%, the indicator for planning completion is in the medium category with an average value of 61.73 or with a percentage value of 28.51%, the indicator carries out completion. classified in the medium category with an average value of 42.83 or with a percentage value of 19.78%, and the re-examination indicator is classified as a medium category with an average value of 34.61 or a percentage value of 15.98%. Keywords: Mathematical Problem Solving Ability, Online Learning.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam menyelesaikan masalah aljabar linear mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Matematika UBT pada pembelajaran daring, untuk setiap indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam menyelesaikan masalah aljabar linear berupa uraian. Adapun pemberian tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dilakukan secara daring menggunakan aplikasi Zoom dan WhatsApp. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 73 mahasiswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. .Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa untuk indikator memahami masalah tergolong kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 77.35 atau dengan nilai persentase 35.72%, indikator merencanakan penyelesaian tergolong kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 61.73 atau dengan nilai persentase 28.51%, indikator melaksanakan penyelesaian tergolong kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 42.83 atau dengan nilai persentase 19.78%, dan indikator memeriksa kembali tergolong kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 34.61 atau dengan nilai persentase 15.98%.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika, Pembelajaran Daring

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the factors that influence Calculus learning outcomes and determine the magnitude of the influence of these factors on Calculus learning outcomes. This research was conducted at Andi Djemma Palopo University, Faculty of Engineering, Civil Engineering Study Program. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects were 150 students of the Civil Engineering Study Program. Data analysis uses the help of Microsoft Excel to analyze descriptive data, and SPSS 23 to analyze data inferences. From the descriptive analysis results, the average of each variable is obtained, the initial ability is 58.38 with a low category, self-concept with a value of 62.7 with a moderate category, Attitudes towards Mathematics with a score of 71 with a high category, Achievement Motivation by 71.9 with the category high, and Calculus learning outcomes of 65.31 in the medium category. As for the results of the Inferential analysis, on the effect of the independent variable on the partially dependent variable, only the initial variable that is significantly influential with a large effect of 0.755 or 75.5%. But when viewed from the effect of the independent variables simultaneously, in the Anova table, obtained a significance value of 0,000 α = 0.05. Means that all independent variables together affect the dependent variable, namely Calculus Learning Outcomes. The R-Square value in the Model Summary table is 0.803 or 80.3%. This means that Initial Knowledge, Self-Concept, Attitudes, and Achievement Motivation affect the Students' Calculus Value by 80.3% simultaneously or partially, while the other 19.7% is influenced by other variables not examined.Keywords:Calculus Learning Outcomes; Self Concept, Attitude toward Mathematics, Achievement Motivation.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar Kalkulus dan menentukan besarnya pengaruh factor tersebut terhadap hasil belajar Kalkulus.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Andi Djemma Palopo, Fakultas Teknik Program Studi Teknik Sipil.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftif kuantitatif.Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Sipil angkatan 2018 berjumlah 150 orang.Analisis data menggunakan bantuan Microsoft Excel untuk menganalisis Deskriftif data, dan SPSS 23 untuk menganalisis Inferensi data. Dari hasil analysis deskriptif iperoleh rerata masing-masing variabel, Kemampuan awal sebesar 58,38 dengan kategori rendah, Konsep diri dengan nilai 62,7 dengan kategori sedang, Sikap terhadap Matematika dengan nilai 71 dengan kategori tinggi, Motivasi Berprestasi sebesar 71,9 dengan kategori tinggi, dan Hasil belajar Kalkulus sebesar 65,31 dengan kategori sedang. Adapun hasil analisis Inferensial, pada pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat secara parsial, hanya variabel Kemampuan awal yang signifikan berpengaruh dengan besar pengaruh 0,755 atau 75,5%. Tetapi apabila ditinjau dari pengaruh variabel bebas secara simultan, pada  tabel Anova, diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 α = 0,05. Berarti semua variabel bebas berpengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel terikat yaitu Hasil Belajar Kalkulus.Nilai R-Square pada tabel Model Summary adalah 0,803 atau 80,3%. Hal ini berarti Pengetahuan Awal, Konsep diri, Sikap, dan Motivasi Berprestasi mempengaruhi Nilai Kalkulus Mahasiswa sebesar 80,3% secara simultan maupun parsial, sedangkan 19,7% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.Kata kunci:Hasil Belajar Kalkulus; Konsep Diri, Sikap, Motivasi Berprestasi.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is a research and development which aims to produce a product in the form of a trigonometric textbook based on Contextual Teaching and Learning for Mathematics Education students. The development of teaching materials in this research refers to the Thiagarajan Model. This model consists of 4 stages of development,namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminates. The data analysis technique used is product feasibility test analysis and product practicality test analysis. The result of the research is that the product produced in the form of trigonometric textbooks based on Contextual Teaching and Learning is feasible and practical for use for mathematics education students. This is based on the data analysis of the experts, namely the material experts, respectively, obtained a percentage of 81% with proper criteria and 84% with very feasible criteria, each presentation expert obtained 92% with very feasible criteria and 89% with very feasible criteria. Based on the results of data analysis on student responses to large-scale trials, it was found that 79% stated that trigonometric textbook based on Contextual Teaching and Learning were very good and the remaining 21% stated that Contextual Teaching and Learning-based trigonometric textbooks were good.Keywords: Development, textbook, Contextual Teaching and LearningAbstrakPenelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk yaitu buku teks trigonometri berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning yang layak dan praktis untuk mahasiswa di jurusan Pendidikan Matematika. Pengembangan produk mengacu pada model Model Thiagarajan yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminates. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji kelayakan dan analisis uji kepraktisan penggunaan produk. Berdasar pada analisis data para ahli materi diperoleh skor 81% berada pada kategori layak dan 84% berada pada kategori sangat layak. Pada ahli presentasi memperoleh 92% dengan kategori sangat layak dan 89% dengan kategori layak. Adapun data respon siswa terhadap uji coba skala besar diketahui bahwa 79% menyatakan bahwa buku teks trigonometri berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning berada pada kategori sangat baik dan 21% menyatakan buku teks trigonometri berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning bagus.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, buku ajar, pembelajaran kontekstual

Abstract

 Abstract E-learning learning has been widely applied with the blended learning system, but in times of pandemic now learning is completely online. The software application used for electronic learning, training, and on the network is the Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS-based learning tool developed by the Center for Curriculum Development and Learning of the University of Borneo Tarakan is Borneo e-learning (Bel). The use of Bel in learning requires monitoring and evaluation to see the success of learning by seeing student responses. His study aims to see student responses to learning English mathematics using a Bel. This research method is a descriptive qualitative method, with a purposive sampling technique. A sample of 54 students with a questionnaire instrument. The student acceptance indicator for learning using the bell shows that the average student agreed to 92.58%, and disagree with 7.42%. While the indicator of ease of use of the bell, the average student approves of 91.84%, and 8.16% disagrees. So it can be concluded that the student's response to learning using Borneo e-learning in English mathematics is positive. So that it can be used for online lectures on subsequent mathematics English courses. Keywords: E-learning, student response, Bel, English math Abstrak Pembelajaran e-learning sudah banyak diterapkan dengan sistem pembelajaran blended learning, namun di masa pandemi sekarang pembelajaran sepenuhnya secara online. Aplikasi lunak yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran elektronik, pelatihan, dan didalam jaringan adalah Learning Management System (LMS). Sarana pembelajaran berbasis LMS yang dikembangkan oleh Pusat Pengembangan Kurikulum dan Pembelajaran Universitas Borneo Tarakan adalah Borneo e-learning (Bel). Penggunaan Bel dalam pembelajaran diperlukan monitoring dan evaluasi untuk melihat keberhasilan pembelajaran dengan melihat respon mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris matematika menggunakan Bel. Metode penelitian ini metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan purposive sampling. Sampel 54 mahasiswa dengan instrumen kuisioner. Indikator penerimaan mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan Bel menunjukkan rata-rata mahasiswa menyatakan setuju sebesar 92,58%, dan tidak setuju sebesar 7,42%. Sedangkan indikator kemudahan penggunaan dari Bel rata-rata mahasiswa menyetujui sebesar 91,84%, dan sebesar 8,16% tidak menyetujui. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan borneo e-learning pada mata kuliah bahasa inggris matematika positif. Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of students' mathematical arithmetic skills in solving problems in the summing material based on counting on in class II of SD Negeri 018 Tarakan. The method used is a quantitative approach to the type of descriptive explanation. The results of the study were obtained from the students' numeracy ability test results based on the mathematics numeracy ability category of students in the high and medium categories. The problems used to identify the ability to count scheme are three problems, namely problems related to counting on, counting all, then counting on and counting all. The results of students' math skills based on the counting on scheme were obtained through interviews with 25 research subjects. Problem 1 was solved by students with a counting scheme of 10 students (40%), Problem 2 was solved by students with a counting scheme of 1 student (4%). Problem 3 is solved by students with a counting on scheme of 2 students (8%).

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the ability of early mathematics with the ability to understand mathematical concepts of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Tarakan. This type of research uses ex post facto research. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 12 Tarakan and research samples of students of class VIII-4 by using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using instrument the ability of early mathematics test and the ability to understand mathematical concepts test with using Pearson Correlation test data analysis. Based on the analysis results obtained by the correlation coefficient values obtained by 0.674 and the value of r = 1. So that the relationship between the two variables is a strong relationship with a positive direction. The significance value of 0,000 0.05 which means rejecting H0 and accepting H1. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan awal matematika dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dengan menggunakan analisis data uji Korelasi Pearson.Beradasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,674 dan nilai r = 1. Sehingga hubungan kedua variabel merupakan hubungan kuat dengan arah positif. Adapun nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 0,05 yang berari tolak H0 dan terima H1. Abstract

  This study aims to discuss several research results regarding the understanding of mathematical concepts that are influenced by affective factors possessed by high school students. Sources of data obtained from 9 research results consisting of 3 results of research on the effect of independent learning on students' understanding of mathematical concepts, and 3 results of research on the effect of self-confidence on students' understanding of mathematical concepts. From several research results, it can be concluded that motivation, learning independence, and self-confidence partially affect the understanding of high school students' mathematical concepts.Keywords: Mathematic Concept Understanding, Motivation, Self-regulated Learning, Self-confidence Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk membahas beberapa hasil penelitian mengenai pemahaman konsep matematika yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor afektif yang dimiliki oleh siswa sekolah menengah. Sumber data diperoleh dari 9 hasil penelitian yang terdiri dari 3 hasil penelitian mengenai pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap pemaham konsep matematika siswa, 3 hasil penelitian mengenai pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap pemaham konsep matematika siswa, dan 3 hasil penelitian mengenai pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap pemaham konsep matematika siswa. Dari beberapa hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar, kemandirian belajar, dan kepercayaan diri berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa sekolah menengah. Kata kunci: Pemahaman Konsep Matematika, Motivasi Belajar, Kemandirian Belajar, Kepercayaan Diri
