Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) description of characteristics and (2) validate thesenior hight school of mathematics syllabus integrated character education with the project assessment, (3) test the effectiveness of the learning material of function in class X. Testing procedure of syllabus and learning used research development of Borg & Gall (1987). The data were processed with descriptive analysis, statistical test t test and regression. The results obtained by the integration of the 10 characters on the senior hight school of mathematics syllabus show a valid syllabus by experts with an average score of 4 (both categories), the maximum score of 5. Test implementation on learning reach effective: (1) the percentage of learners achieve mastery learning by 89, 5%; (2) an increase of characters curiosity of learners of meeting 1 to 2, up to 3, up to 4 each score gain of 0.17; 0.30; 0.31; (3) the influence of the curiosity of students to the learning outcomes of 48.9%, (4) the average learning outcomes of students experimental class (77.2) is better than the control class (76.2). Thus, each character can bring a change in behavior according to the character programmed and observed in the learning process in focus. Coordination learning at every level stated in the syllabus.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kecerdasan dengan prestasi belajar matematika (2) Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan prestasi belajar matematika (3) Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebiasaan belajar dengan prestasi belajar matematika (4) Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kecerdasan, motivasi berprestasi, dan kebiasaan belajar matematika dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa semester 1 kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Bojong. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 orang siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelatif sehingga data dianalisa untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara tingkat kecerdasan, motivasi berprestasi, dan kebiasaan belajar matematika dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan angket, dan dianalisa menggunakan regresi dan korelasi linier sederhana, serta regresi dan korelasi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara : (1) tingkat kecerdasan dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa, (2) motivasi berprestasi dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa, (3) kebiasaan belajar dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa (4) tingkat kecerdasan, motivasi berprestasi dan kebiasaan belajar matematika dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. The purpose of this study is (1) To determine the relationship between the level of intelligence and academic achievement of mathematics (2) To determine the relationship between achievement motivation and learning achievement in mathematics (3) To determine the relationship between study habits and academic achievement of mathematics (4) To determine the relationship between level of intelligence, achievement motivation and study habits mathematics learning achievement of student mathematics 1st semester of grade XI IPA SMAN 1 Bojong. The number of samples in this study were 40 students.This research was descriptive correlative so data were analyzed to describe the relationship between the level of intelligence, achievement motivation and study habits mathematics with mathematics learning achievement of students. Instrument documentation and data retrieval using a questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression and correlation, as well as multiple linear regression and correlation. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between: (1) the level of intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of students, (2) achievement motivation and academic achievement of student mathematics, (3) study habits and academic achievement of student mathematics (4) the level of intelligence, achievement motivation and study habits mathematics with mathematics learning achievement of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika realistik yang baik untuk pokok bahasan Aljabar di kelas VII MTs.Daarussa’adah, mendeskripsikan keefektifan PMR dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk pokok bahasan Aljabar di kelas VII MTs.Daarussa’adah serta untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti PMR lebih baik daripada hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran matematika konvensional untuk pokok bahasan Aljabar di kelas VII SLTP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan dari perangkat yang sudah ada menggunakan model 4D-Thiagarajan yang dimodifikasi.kemudian perangkat divalidasi oleh tim ahli dan diujicobakan dikelas ujicoba,yaitu klas VII-1 untuk mendapatkan draft final dimana draft ini harus memenuhi syarat valid, reliable dan peka. Kemudian draft final digunakan untuk kelas eksperimen, yaitu VII-4. Kelas kontrol, diajar dengan metode konvensional. Sedangkan kelas Ujicoba dan kelas eksperimen diberikan metode PMR. Hasil dari eksperimen ini nantinya akan dianalisis secara deskriptif yaitu tentang aktivitas siswa dikelas, kemampuan guru mengelola kelas dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Data pretest-postes akan dianalisis dengan anakova. Penelitian ini sendiri saat ini masih sedang berlangsung sehingga belum mendapatkan hasil dari eksperimen. These research aims to produce a good Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) device for Algebra sub topic in VIIth class of MTs.Daarussa’adah, to describe the effectiveness of RME for Algebra sub topic in VIIth class of MTs.Daarussa’adah, and find out if the learning outcomes of student who take the learning to the RME better than the student who take mathematics to materials conventionally algebraic subtopics in VIIth class. The method which use in these research is development method from the device before by using 4D­Thiagarajan models which have been modified. Then the device will validate by profesional team and have trial in trial class, that is VII­1 class.To get final draft which one the draft is valid, reliable and sensitive qualified. And then final draft is used for the experiment class (VII­4). The control class is theached with conventional method. The trial class and experiment class is given RME method. The outcomes of these experiment will be analized descriptively about student activity in classroom, the theacher ability to manage of class and student respon for the learning. Data of pretest­postest will be analized by anakova. These research is still going for just moment so we will don’t know about the result yet.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Berbantuan Software GeoGebra terhadap kemampuan spasial dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi transformasi Geometri. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMKN 3 Kuningan tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pemilihan sampel dengan cara purposed random sampling, pada pemilihan sampel diperoleh siswa XI-TSM 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI-TSM 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diajar dengan pembelajaran Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Berbantuan Software GeoGebra, sedangkan kelas kontrol diajar dengan pembelajaran ekspositori. Pengambilan data diperoleh dengan hasil pretest dan postest untuk mendapatkan data nilai kemampuan spasial dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang kemudian dianalisis dengan uji perbedaan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) Peningkatan kemampuan spasial siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. (2) Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. (3) Terdapat korelasi yang positif antara kemampuan spasial dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis. The purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of study Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) aided software GeoGebra on spatial ability and mathematical communication skills of students in the material transformation of Geometry. The population in this study is class XI student of SMKN 3 Kuningan in the academic year 2014/2015. Election purposed sample by random sampling, sample obtained by the students XI-2 as the experimental class TSM and TSM class XI-4 as the control class. Experimental class taught by CAI aided Software GeoGebra, while the control class was taught by expository. Data obtained with the results of the pretest and posttest then analyzed with the average difference. The results are:(1) Improvement of spatial ability students experimental class is better than the control class.(2)The increase in students' mathematical communication skills experimental class is better than the control class.(3)There is a positive correlation between spatial ability and mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini (1) mengetahui apakah kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa kelas VIII pada MEA lebih baik daripada kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa pada model ekspositori, (2) mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa FD dan FI, dan (3) mendeskripsikan kemampuan koneksi matematika pada MEA berdasarkan gaya kognitif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah mixed method dengan populasi siswa kelas VIII. Kelas sampel terdiri atas VIIIA dan VIIIB. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 6 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, tes koneksi matematika, GEFT, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa pada MEA lebih baik dibandingkan pada ekspositori; (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa FD dan FI; (3) siswa FD mampu mencari dan memahami hubungan antar topik dan antara topik matematika dengan topik di luar matematika, serta menerapkan matematika dalam kehidupan, tetapi siswa FD tidak mampu menerapkan matematika dalam disiplin ilmu lain, tidak mampu memahami representasi, dan tidak mampu sampai kurang mampu mencari hubungan satu prosedur dengan prosedur lain; sedangkan, siswa FI mampu mencari dan memahami hubungan antar topik dan antara topik matematika dengan topik di luar matematika, memahami representasi, menerapkan matematika dalam bidang lain dan kehidupan, dan mencari hubungan satu prosedur dengan prosedur lain. The purpose of this study were (1) determine whether the mathematical connection ability of eighth grader student on MEA is better than the mathematical connection ability on expository, (2) determine whether there are differences mathematical connection ability of FD and FI students, and (3) describe the mathematical connection ability on MEA based on cognitive style. This study is mix method with the population were eighth grader students. The sample class were VIIIA and VIIIB. Subjects consisted of 6 students. Data collection techniques including observation, documentation, mathematical connection test, GEFT, and interviews. The results showed that (1) the mathematical connection ability of student on MEA is better than on expository; (2) there are differences in mathematical connection ability of students FD and FI; (3) students FD are able to find and understand the relationships between topics and between mathematical topic and outside mathematical topic, and apply mathematics in life, but students FD unable to apply mathematics in other disciplines, unable to understand the representation, and not able to less able to find the relationship of the procedure with another procedure; whereas, students FI were able to find and understand the relationships between topics and between mathematical topic and outside mathematical topic, understand representation, applying mathematics in other disciplines and life, and find the relationship of the procedure with another procedure.

Abstract

Berpikir aljabar merupakan representasi dari aktivitas maupun kemampuan dalam mempelajari aljabar sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir aljabar siswa SMP Kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kemampuan berpikir aljabar pada siswa. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil tes, siswa dikelompokkan berdasarkan kemampuan berpikir aljabar mereka yang terdiri dari kelompok tingkat tinggi, kelompok tingkat sedang, dan kelompok tingkat rendah. Dari masing-masing kelompok tersebut dipilih dua subjek sebagai perwakilan untuk diwawancara lebih lanjut terkait kemampuan berpikir aljabar mereka. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan generasional, transformasional, dan level-meta global sudah terlihat pada sebagian siswa kelas VIII. Siswa yang termasuk dalam kelompok tingkat tinggi mempunyai kemampuan generasional, transformasional, dan level-meta global yang cenderung tinggi. Sedangkan siswa dalam kelompok rendah mempunyai kemampuan transformasional yang cenderung rendah, kemampuan generasional yang rendah sampai sedang, dan kemampuan level-meta global yang rendah sampai sedang. Algebraic thinking is a representation of activities and abilities to learn school algebraic. The aim of this research was to determine the ability of eighth grade junior high school students in algebraic thinking. The method used in this research was the qualitative descriptive approach. This research was conducted with giving a test of algebraic thinking skills to the students. Furthermore, based on test results, students are grouped according to their algebraic thinking skills which consists of a high­level group, moderate­level group and low­level group. From each group, two subjects were selected to be interviewed more related their algebraic thinking skills, as a representative for their each group. Analytical results from this research indicated that the ability in generational, transformational, and global meta­level activities is already visible in some eighth grade students. Students were included in the high­level group tend to have high skill in generational, transformational, and global meta­level activities. While students were included in the low­level group tend to have low skill in transformational ability, low to medium skill in generational ability, and low to medium skill in global meta­level ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to described mathematical connection ability, mathematical disposition students of eleventh grade Vocational High School. This research also was to described mathematical connection ability reviewed by mathematical disposition and mathematical disposition reviewed by mathematical connection ability. The social situation was students of eleventh grade Eight Vocational High School. The subject in this research was students in the level of capacity to mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition was three students in XI RPL 2 Eight State Vocational High School of Semarang. The result showed a description (1) mathematical connection ability level of students were medium; (2) mathematical disposition level of students were medium; (3) students had high mathematical connection ability level tendency to construct mathematical disposition level better than students had medium and low mathematical connection ability level; (4) students had high mathematical disposition level tendency to construct mathematical connection ability level better than students had medium and low mathematical disposition level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keefektifan Model­Eliciting Activities berbantuan LKPD terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan disposisi matematis peserta didik kelas VIII pada materi bangun ruang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Gemolong tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang sampelnya diambil secara cluster random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi, metode tes, dan skala sikap. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji proporsi satu pihak, uji ratarata satu pihak, uji perbedaan dua proporsi, uji perbedaan dua rata-rata, dan analisis regresi. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran ModelEliciting Activities berbantuan LKPD efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis; (2) Model­Eliciting Activities berbantuan LKPD lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran langsung terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik; (3) disposisi matematis peserta didik dengan Model­Eliciting Activities berbantuan LKPD lebih baik daripada disposisi matematis peserta didik dengan model pembelajaran langsung; dan (4) disposisi matematis berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis This research was aimed to determine the effectiveness of Model­Eliciting Activities aided worksheet towards grade VIII students’ mathematial communication ability and mathematical disposition in geometry. Population in this research was grade VIII students of JHS 2 Gemolong in academic year 2014/2015 which the samples were taken by cluster random sampling.The research method were taken by documentation method, test method, and attitude scale. Data were analyzed using the proportion test, the average test, the difference of two proportions test, the difference of two average test and regression analysis. Based on the result it were concluded that: (1) Model­Eliciting Activities learning aided worksheet is effective toward mathematical communication ability; (2) Model­Eliciting Activities aided worksheet is more effective than direct instructional model for mathematical communication ability of students; (3) the mathematical disposition of students with a Model­Eliciting Activities aided worksheet is better than the mathematical disposition of students with direct instructional model; and (4) the mathematical disposition effects positively to mathematical communication ability.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan kartu masalah dapat mencapai ketuntasan klasikal lebih dari atau sama dengan 75% dari jumlah siswa di kelas yang tuntas secara individual dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan kartu masalah lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran model ekspositori berbantuan kartu masalah, serta bagaimana karakter bangsa siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran model berbantuan kartu masalah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Banyumas. Teknik sampling menggunakan cluster random sampling, diperoleh kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi metode tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji proporsi dan uji ketidaksamaan dua rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas kontrol. Selain itu, karakter bangsa siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan kartu masalah mengalami perubahan menjadi lebih baik dari kriteria yang dimiliki sebelumnya. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the problem­solving ability of students with the application of learning models POGIL assisted problem cards could achieve classical completeness is more than or equal to 75% of the number of students in the class who completed individually and problem­solving ability of students with the application of learning models POGIL assisted problem cards was better than problem­solving ability of students with the application of learning models expository assisted problem cards, and how the national character of students with the application of learning models POGIL assisted problem cards. The population in this study is the eighth­grade students of Banyumas 2 Junior High School. Sampling was carried out by cluster random sampling technique, is obtained as an experimental class in eighth grade D and eighth grade class E as a control. Data collection methods include tests, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is the proportion test, and test two average inequality.The results showed that the test result graders problem solving capabilities experiments achieve classical completeness and the average test students' problem­solving abilities experimental class better than the average results of the test solving abilities issue control class. Besides that, national character of students with the application of learning models POGIL assisted problem cards change be better of the criteria previously owned.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe mathematics problem solving skills of SMK Class X boarding school students which in terms of learning styles by using Anchored Instruction models based neuroscience. This is a qualitative research. The subjects of this research are 9 students of SMK N Jawa Tengah, were classified into 3 to the learning styles that is visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.The methods of collecting data in this research using a questionnaire of learning style, mathematics problem solving test, and interview. Analysis of mathematics problem ­solving skills refer to the stage of the Polya problem solving. The results of this research showed that: 1) students 'visual and auditory with the same number are most numerous in the class X SMK N Jawa Tengah, it points out that the habits of the three subjects in accordance with the characteristics of learning styles such as when learning to learn math students visual prefer to read a book with pictures or tables, students auditory prefers to listen to the explanation of the teacher, while students kinesthetic rather try or practice directly through exercises; 2) in general, students' visual, auditory, and kinesthetic at high group, medium group, and low group able to solve the problem through the stages of understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and looking back.
