Abstract

The problem's background was the low language skill for the children in group A in BA Aisyiyah Joton I Jogonalan Klaten. This can be seen from the limited use of vocabulary in children so that the child cannot speak properly. The formulation of the problems in this research are: 1) how to apply the storytelling method by using hand puppets to improve the language skills of early childhood. 2) how to improve the language skills of early childhood through the application of the storytelling method by using hand puppets. The purpose of this research are: 1) to determine the application of the storytelling method by using hand puppet media in improving early childhood language skills. 2) to determine the increase in language skills of early childhood through the application of the storytelling method using hand puppet media. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of four components, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The research subjects were group A, the students at BA Aisyiyah Joton I, the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 10 children.The research results indicate that: 1) the application of the storytelling method by using hand puppets was carried out in the following stages: a) preparation, b) class conditioning, c) storytelling activities, d) question and answer and appreciation, e) conducting an assessment through observation of indicator items. 2) In the pre-cycle, the language skills of the children from group A were 30%, and when the first cycle was carried out, the children's language skills could increase to 60% then in the second cycle it increased to 76%. So it can be concluded that the increase in children's language skills with the storytelling method by using hand puppet media increased by 40%.

Abstract

The development of technology from generation to generation continues to develop rapidly. Providing progress in every sector, one of which is in the education sector which has the impact of technological advances. With technological advances, it becomes a challenge for every parent in dealing with education for early childhood which is the alpha generation that grows and develops with the current technological advances. Advances in technology will cause a positive or negative impact on children's education, which basically children do not understand to look for good information or not because early childhood is a time when children are happy to explore everything, one of which is technology. The purpose of this study is to conduct a literature review on the role of millennial parents in educating the alpha generation in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method. The article comes from data based on google schoral published in the last 5 years period (2017-2021). The results of the study show that the role of millennial parents in educating the alpha generation in the digital era is very important. The alpha generation needs guidance and supervision in using technology and many millennial parents take part in activities such as kulwap, seminars and workshops on parenting in the digital era which aim to find out the needs of children to increase knowledge in appropriate parenting, and to create good child development.

Abstract

Child development is very dependent on parenting, character, personality and other aspects of development will develop along with parenting carried out by parents. Old people were born in their respective generations, starting from the Baby Boomers generation, Generation X, Generation Y or Millennials, Generation Z and subsequent generations. Each generation level has different characteristics and ways of educating children with different backgrounds. For this reason, this study aims to describe the effect of parenting of Generation X and Generation Y (Millennials) in educating early childhood. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing articles published from 2018-2021 fulltext. The data was obtained from the Journal of Early Childhood Education and ResearchGate, and Google Scholar. The keywords used are Parenting Parenting, Generation X and Generation Z (Millennials), and Early Childhood. The results of the literature study research on the effect of parenting styles x and y (millennials) on the character of early childhood is that parenting carried out by parents in Generations X and Y (Millennials) is proven to have a positive influence. A healthy and positive parenting pattern will grow the child's character to become a better person.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of services provided to deal with aggressive behavior in early childhood along with the supporting and inhibiting factors for handling aggressive behavior in early childhood in the Harvisyah Integrated Islamic Kindergarten. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Where the data collection techniques carried out by researchers are through observation, interviews and documentation as well as data analysis techniques used through data triangulation for data reduction, data presentation and presentation of conclusions. The results showed that the form of service provided by: 1) early detection, 2) acceptance, 3) PAIKEM, 4) reward, 5) exemplary, 6) comfortable environment, 7) empathy development, 8) punishment. While the supporting factors that influence the handling of aggressive behavior in early childhood are the school's concern for the problems faced by teachers and good cooperation between stakeholders. While the inhibiting factors are early problems at home affecting children's behavior at school, handling that is not in harmony between school and home, and limited time for handling aggressive behavior at school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Hat Dance to the children of Group B RA Tunas Bangsa Sidogemah Sayung Demak and to determine the increase in gross motor skills of children with the Hat Dance method in group B children of RA Tunas Bangsa Sidogemah Sayung Demak. Data collection techniques in this study through observation and documentation techniques. This type of research is classroom action research with qualitative descriptive data analysis. The subjects used were students of RA Tunas Bangsa Sidogemah Sayung Demak with a population of 27 children. Sources of data come from educators and education staff. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in children's physical motor skills through the Hat Dance media based on data on the pre-action aspects of flexibility from 48.14% then increased in Cycle I to 74.07% and Cycle II increased to 98.14%. In the pre-action, the agility aspect increased from 42.59%, in Cycle I it became 79.62% and in Cycle II it increased to 99.07%. In the pre-action, the balance aspect increased from 40.74% then increased, Cycle I became 62.96% and Cycle II increased to 97.22%. From these data, it can be concluded that the hat dance activity can improve the gross motor skills of class B children of RA Tunas Bangsa Sidogemah. This is because the hat dance dance activity can stimulate children's motor development in terms of flexibility, agility and balance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and understand the importance of parenting in the current millennial era in improving the moral development of early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study research method. The results and discussion explain that the parenting pattern of millennial parents currently plays an important role in the moral development of children, including through the application of democratic parenting, children are able to manage their emotions and be independent. Not only that, the current parenting pattern for millennial parents can be done by providing parenting in the form of habituation and example or providing good examples (figures) for children, so that children are able to imitate the habits that parents apply to shape good behavior, character in accordance with applicable norms and have a responsible and independent nature. Parents are also able to instill religious values ​​in their children from an early age.

Abstract

This paper is purposed to find out the role of parents to overcome the problem of dropping out of school in children and how parents deal with the problems. this research using descriptive qualitative methods based on literature review. The family is the first place for children to get education. Parents are the first and main role for children's education to support growth and development that determines their future. parents also have an important role to prevent, control, and coaching. Based on the reading results obtained, it can be concluded that the way parents deal with the problem of dropping out of school in children is establish a good communication and also invite children to discuss in two directions, then provide a motivate so that children have a strong determination in carrying out their education to a higher level.

Abstract

This research reveals its importance of holding tight selection in choosing a life partner from the family environment and healthy and good. In choosing a wife, Islam teaches Muslim men to pay attention to two things: first, lineage candidate's wife, and secondly, the environment in which he lived and the extent of this environmental impact on personality. A true benchmark in choosing a wife is a woman's level of faith and loyalty to his religion. As mothers and fathers play a very important role in child development, physical, and mental and mental. Therefore, in choosing a husband, Islam also teaches to pay attention to the descent and the environment in which he lived. The prospective husband should also have properties that commendable because it will become role models of their children and bring down all the qualities and character to them. In addition, the wife will also be affected by some of its properties through daily interaction with her. Therefore, the Prophet Muhammad. encourages women to choose husbands were worth it. Criteria for choosing a mate, both for men and women are "good" for married: that Good moral (Salih/Sholihah), Married With Virgin/Girl, Married Women Independence, Beautiful His face, Fertile Peranakan, Wealth, Come of good descent, not of the immediate family.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine learning through the kinesthetic motion method in increasing learning activities and the ability to memorize letters of Al Kafirun in BA Aisyiyah Kwaren II, Ngawen, Klaten. The method used is the method of action research (action research) and the data collection technique was carried out by observing the activities of students and teachers, tests, partner teacher responses, and monitoring classroom observations. The results showed that learning through the kinesthetic motion method paid more attention and interest to students. Students' activity increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2. This was evidenced by students being more active, more daring to ask questions, starting to increase their ability to memorize letters Al Kafirun, daring to try to memorize letters Al Kafirun either with or without teacher guidance, and more active in learning. The results of the assessment of the performance of the memorizing ability of Al Kafirun's letters increased, namely; Pre-cycle the average value of students is 56, cycle I is 69 and cycle II becomes 82. Furthermore, based on the responses of partner teachers in implementing learning using modeling techniques, it becomes more fun, easier to understand, makes students want to be more active and creative, and not confusing.

Abstract

Perkembangan anak khususnya melalui deteksi dini tumbuh kembang diperlukan sebagai acuan tenaga kesehatan maupun tenaga pendidikan dalam mengidentifikasi pertumbuhan anak sejalan dengan perkembangannya, namun pelaksanaannya masih perlu dioptimalkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi perkembangan anak melalui deteksi dini tumbuh kembang sejalan dengan regulasi yang berlaku di Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, deteksi dini tumbuh kembang diarahkan pada pemantauan sejalan dengan tingkat kesehatan dan kesiapan anak memasuki masa sekolah formal; kedua, dalam implementasinya, deteksi dini memerlukan komitmen pelaksanaan secara komprehensif serta berkualitas.
