Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of debt policy on dividend policy and investment decision on corporate manufacturing industry sector in IDX the period of 2009-2013. This study uses a quantitative approach to multiple linear regression analysis model. This study uses a sample of firms / companies who are in the manufacturing industry sectors in IDX period of 2009-2013. This study finds that debt policy doesn’t have significant effect on dividend policy, while control variable, MBVE has negative significant effect on dividend policy. Debt policy has positive significant effect on investment decision while MBVE doesn’t have significant effect on investment decision on manufacturing industry sector in IDX the period of 2009-2013.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the characteristic differences between academic researcher and academic lecturer using an application of multiple discriminant analysis. Results show that there are three characteristics distinguish both of group, that is: 1) searching call for papers/conference/seminar schedules via internet, 2) buying new books with own money, and 3) alocating much more time for doing research rather than teaching. The last finding revealed that 86.4% of observations were correctly classified.

Abstract

Revitalization of the museum in various cities in Indonesia by the government, including in Jakarta, aims to increase visits. To support this objective, museum needs to do the proper marketing strategies, one through experiential marketing approach.This study aims to reveal the effect of the customer experience on revisit intention with learning in museum and visitor satisfaction as mediation, from the perspective of museum visitors. This research was conducted at Museum Wayang, Jakarta. The result showed that customer experience in terms of five dimensions namely, sense, feel, think, act, and relate have positive effect on revisit intention through learning in museum and visitor satisfaction as mediating variables.

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to determine whether the Organizational Justice has a mediating effect in the influence of Career Development to Succession in a family enterprise in the research, namely PT Sumberdaya Sewatama. The sampling method used is convenience sampling. This research took a sample of 38 employees at managerial level. Methods of data analysis used in this research is the analysis of the effect of mediation (OJ) and test effect of independent variables (CD) to the dependent variable (S). The results of data processing using SPSS 22 for windows with macros and hayes 2013. The result shows that managerial level employees at PT Sumberdaya Sewatama have career development, organizational justice, and succession were already good, but organizational justice can not mediate the effect of career development to succession.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of moderating variables Word-Of-Mouth on the relationship of Trust and Paramount Land Purchase Decision of house. The study was conducted in several clusters of housing in Gading Serpong. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. The number of samples studied were as many as 200 customers. The collected data is processed and analyzed by the IBMS SPSS 21.The results showed that there is significant influence Word of Mouth as a moderating variable on the relationship of Trust and Paramount Land house Purchase Decision. In addition, the Trust as independent variables significantly influence the purchase decision. Word of Mouth as quasi moderator variables (located as independent variables and moderating variables) significantly influence the purchase decision and have a significant effect as a moderating variable on the relationship between the Trust with the purchase decision.

Abstract

This study examines the behavioral intention of respondents who have been to Lara Djonggrang restaurant, Menteng, Jakarta, a restaurant serving typical Indonesian food themed with the legend of Central Java, which is the story of Lara Djonggrang. The study was conducted to determine the factors that affect behavioral intentions while atmospheric serves as independent variable and service quality as mediation variable. The analysis technique used in this study is the PLS (Partial Least Square). The results shows that Atmospheric has an effect on Service Quality. Atmospheric also has an effect on Behavioral Intention. Service Quality has an effect on Behavioral Intention.

Abstract

Ratio analysis is useful for assessing the company’s financial performance. One type of ratio analysis is the analysis of profitability ratios are useful for analyzing the company's ability to generate profits . This study was conducted to determine whether the profitability ratios have an effect on stock prices . Profitability ratios used in this study is the Return on Sales , Return on Assets and Return on Equity . The method used in this research is the method of panel data, because the data studied is a combination of cross section data and time series . The model used in this study consisted of Pooled Least Square ( PLS ) , Fixed Effect Model ( FEM ) . From the estimation data panel found that Return on Sales , Return on Assets ,and Return on Equity have a significant effect on stock prices . While partially only Return on Assets that have a significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Service Quality, School Image and Perception Price for Student Satisfaction and Student Trust. This research was conducted at the Vocational High School (SMK) Private in West Jakarta, which spread in 8 (eight) districts with a total sample of 200 students. Structural Equation Modelin (SEM) by AMOS program version 22 used to prove the affecting of among variables, with conclusions as follows: first; Service Quality has positive and significant effect on Student Satisfaction, second; School Image has positive and significant effect on Student Satisfaction, Third; Perception Price has positive effect but not significant on Student Satisfaction, Fourth; Service Quality has positive effect but not significant on Student Trust, Fifth; School Image has positive effect but not significant on Student Trust, Sixth; Perception Price has positive effect and significant Student Trust, Seventh; Student Satisfaction has positive effect and significant on Student Trust, and the eighth, mediating effect of student satisfaction more strength and significant than direct effect of service quality and school image on student trust.

Abstract

Fivestar Reflexology branch Meruya located in West Jakarta is one of the hospitality industries which is owned by PT Panca Abadi Bersama that provides breakthrough of healthy and relaxation. The basic objective of this research is to determine the influence service quality to customer behavioral intention through customer satisfaction on Fivestar Reflexology branch Meruya. The method used in this study is the path analysis. The result shows that service quality has significant effect on customer satisfaction. Subsequent findings, found that service quality was also has direct and positive effect on customer behavioral intention. From these results, it was found that the implementation of service quality on customer behavioral intention through the mediation customer satisfaction is more influential than directly.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to analyze the effect of earning management on the profitability of the company moderated by good corporate governance. The measurement method of earning management employed is discretionary revenue approach that applies the method of conditional revenue developed by Stubben (2010). Good corporate governance is measured by frequency of audit committee meetings. Company’s profitability is measured by using Return on Assets ratio (ROA). The total sample for this study are 70 manufacturing firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2010-2012. The method used for data analysis is multiple regression. The result of this study shows that earning management influences company’s profitability. Moreover, good corporate governance is the moderator of the relationship between earning management and company’s profitability.
