Abstract

Abstract. Human Resource Management (HRM) is the science and art of managing the relationship and role of labor to achieve the effectiveness and efficiency of company goals, employees, and society as a whole. In a competitive business, companies realize the importance of encouraging employee enthusiasm to improve performance through a reward system. both financial and non-financial. This study aims to understand employee perceptions of the existing reward system and identify the types of rewards that most affect employee performance at PT Rangros Plastik Malang City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection triangulation techniques in the form of sources, time, and interview and observation methods. The results showed that although PT Rangros Plastik has implemented various forms of rewards, such as weekly salary, Holiday Allowance (THR), recreational incentives, and recognition and appreciation, its effectiveness is still limited by the low quality of human resources and the perception of employees who still often differentiate the rewards received. The implementation of a fair and transparent reward system is proven to improve employee performance. However, to achieve optimal results, it is necessary to adjust the reward system that is more in line with the needs and expectations of employees. This study concludes that the implementation of an effective reward system can make a positive contribution to improving employee performance and achieving company goals

Abstract

Abstract. The current accounting information system is not only limited to a company or large-scale business, but it is highly recommended for MSMEs as small and medium businesses to organize an accounting information system. In the recording process, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia need to be supported by the use and management of good information systems. Information systems can facilitate business actors in monitoring and evaluating business processes and controlling business reporting. The purpose of the research to be achieved is to design or provide a definite picture of the accounting information system, specifically in the sales cycle and raw material inventory cycle. This type of research is qualitative research. This study uses primary data collected through survey methods, observations and in-depth interviews regarding the work cycle at the research site. The results of this study are expected to be input to MSMEs or businesses that will later build a system that can be the main foundation for businesses so that all cycles in it become more effective and efficient, and can make businesses competitive with other similar businesses.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of corporate social responsibility disclosure and corporate governance structure including the number of board of commissioner members, percentage of independent commissioners, number of board of commissioners meetings, number of board of directors meetings, number of audit committee meetings, the presence of nomination and remuneration committee on firm reputation in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The samples are 50 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016 to 2021 which were taken using purposive sampling. The findings indicate a positive effect of corporate social responsibility disclosure on firm reputation. This study also proves the positive effect of the number of board of commissioner members and the number of board of directors meetings on firm reputation. However, this study failed to prove that the percentage of independent commissioners, the number of board of commissioners meetings, the number of audit committee meetings, and the presence of nomination and remuneration committee can affect firm reputation. The sample of this study is limited to manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Empirical studies that focus on the influence of corporate social responsibility disclosure and corporate governance structure on firm reputation in Indonesian context using control variables firm size and firm age, especially in manufacturing companies, are still rare

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how factors such as work experience, motivation, and career development affect employee job satisfaction at PT Sumitomo Wiring System Batam. The research methodology used in this study is quantitative and descriptive. A total of 138 operator personnel from PT Sumitomo Wiring System Batam in 2024 were included in this study as a population. The saturated sampling approach was used to ensure that the entire population was included. Data quality testing, classical assumptions, influence, and hypothesis testing are part of the data analysis process. According to multiple linear regression, work experience is responsible for 23.2% in explaining job satisfaction, while motivation explains 33.3% in job satisfaction, and career development is responsible for 59.6% in explaining job satisfaction. In the results of the determination coefficient (R2), the three tested together contributed 80.5% to the level of job satisfaction experienced by individuals. The findings of the t-test and F-test confirm that there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between job satisfaction influenced by factors including work experience, motivation, and career development.

Abstract

Abstract. The technology industry faces major challenges in managing its workforce amid global economic uncertainty and rapid technological developments. Mass layoffs are a common strategy used to increase efficiency, such as what happened at Spotify Technology S.A. in 2023. This article aims to analyze the causes of mass layoffs at Spotify and identify strategies that can be implemented to prevent layoffs in the technology industry. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and secondary data analysis, this article finds that the main factors of layoffs at Spotify include the global economic slowdown, suboptimal investment in business expansion, and increased automation based on artificial intelligence. Alternatively, companies can implement strategies such as more efficient organizational restructuring, employee skill enhancement (upskilling and reskilling), diversification of revenue sources, work flexibility, and transparency in decision-making. By implementing these strategies, companies can maintain business stability without significantly sacrificing their workforce.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of supervision, work discipline and motivation on employee performance at PT Microcast Technology Indonesia. The population in the study were employees of PT Microcast Technology Indonesia. The sample in this research was 100 employees or all employees of PT Microcast Technology Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods, data analysis uses the SPSS 26 program. The results of this research show that, Supervision has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT Microcast Tecnology Indonesia , work discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT Microcast Tecnology Indonesia and Motivation has an effect positive and significant impact on Employee Performance at PT Microcast Tecnology Indonesia, as well as Supervision, Work Discipline and Motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on Employee Performance at PT Microcast Tecnology Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of work motivation in mediating the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on the performance of teachers of SMP Negeri 23 Malang. This study uses a quantitative approach, using the path analysis technique with a sobel test. The research population was 38 teachers with saturated sampling techniques. The results of the study show that organizational culture and organizational commitment have a significant effect on work motivation and performance. Work motivation also has a significant effect on teacher performance. Organizational culture and organizational commitment through work motivation have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. The implication of this research is that SMP Negeri 23 Malang needs to prioritize strengthening a positive organizational culture to improve work motivation and teacher performance. This requires investment in effective leadership, inclusive rewards programs, and proactive conflict management. By understanding that work motivation acts as a mediator between organizational culture and commitment to teacher performance, schools can design more focused strategies to improve teacher satisfaction and overall student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Human Resources Management Process at Rumah Sakit Khusus Bedah Hasta Husada consists of Human Resources planning, personnel selection, training and development, and performance assessment. The Human Resource Management process influences the hospital services provided to patients. The aim of this research is to analyze the Human Resources management process at Rumah Sakit Khusus Bedah Hasta Husada. The research method used is a descriptive design, a qualitative approach using in-depth interview techniques. There were informants consisting of 5 (five) informants, namely the Head of Human Resources (HRD), Education and Training, Personal Administration, Development and Medical Services, as well as the Head of the Medical Services Division. The research data obtained was analyzed through thematic analysis. The results obtained are that the Human Resources management process at Rumah Sakit Khusus Bedah Hasta Husada carries out personnel planning if there are requests for needs in each part or section of the Hospital. In the planning stage, the focus will be on medical personnel because they have an essential role in providing care to patients. The selection stage consists of three stages, including the administration stage, psychology test, capability test according to each scientific discipline. Therefore, Human Resources (HR) management has a very urgent or important role in creating quality employees who have optimal performance.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to illustrate and rationalize the impact of work discipline and motivation on the performance of teachers in SMA N 1 Pamotan school. With a total of 47 teachers as respondents, this study used qualitative methods. Sampling techniques use saturated samples. Multiple linear regression analysis approaches are used in data analysis methods. The resullts showeed the teachers’ performance in SMA N 1 Pamotan school were significantly better because of work discipline and significantly worse because they were heavily motivated. The resultts of this studdy indicate that the implementation of dicipline strict work has a signifficant impactt on the effectiveness of teachers in schools located in SMA N 1 Pamotaan Province. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian dilakukan untuk memahami perilaku konsumen terkait nilai konsumsi hijau yang dianut dalam membentuk persepsi keberlanjutan produk dan merek. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang kemudian diolah dengan metode SEM, sebelum uji hipotesis dilakukan. Hasil menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif Consumer Green Value (CGV) terhadap Product Sustainability Perception (PSP), Product Sustainability Perception (PSP) terhadap Brand Sustainability Perception (BSP), dan dampak tidak langsung CGV terhadap BSP melalui PSP. Dari kesimpulan tersebut, manajer dapat meningkatkan persepsi konsumen melalui green marketing, green supply chain, dan inovasi kemasan eco-friendly. Abstract. The research was conducted to understand consumer behavior related to the adoption of green consumption values in shaping perceptions of product and brand sustainability. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire, which was then processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) before hypothesis testing was conducted. The results indicate a positive influence of Consumer Green Value (CGV) on Product Sustainability Perception (PSP), Product Sustainability Perception (PSP) on Brand Sustainability Perception (BSP), and an indirect impact of CGV on BSP through PSP. Based on these conclusions; managers can enhance consumer perceptions through green marketing, green supply chain practices, and innovations in eco-friendly packaging.
