Abstract

Low student engagement and understanding in the learning process is one of the main challenges in formal education today. Traditional learning methods that tend to be one-way are often unable to facilitate students' active participation, thus hindering the process of understanding the material optimally. This research aims to explore innovative interactive learning methods as a solution to improve student engagement and understanding in the classroom. The method used in this research is literature study and data analysis from observations in several schools that have implemented interactive learning techniques, such as group discussions, simulations, and the use of digital technology. The results showed that the implementation of interactive learning methods significantly increased student engagement by 40% compared to conventional methods. In addition, students' understanding of the subject matter increases along with the high participation in learning activities. The use of interactive media, such as learning videos and educational applications, also had a positive impact on students' motivation to learn more actively. The implication of this research shows that the integration of interactive learning methods in the curriculum can be an effective strategy in improving the quality of classroom learning and shaping a more dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

Early childhood education plays a crucial role in shaping the foundation of children's development, making the quality of teacher performance a key factor in achieving optimal educational goals. Various factors can influence teacher performance, including the leadership style implemented by school leaders, the level of job satisfaction experienced by teachers, and the intrinsic motivation that drives them in carrying out their duties. This study aims to analyze the influence of servant leadership, job satisfaction, and intrinsic motivation on the performance of Aisyiyah kindergarten teachers in Banguntapan District. The research method employed is quantitative with a survey approach. The research sample consists of 37 teachers selected using a cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression to determine the extent to which the independent variables influence the dependent variable. The results indicate that servant leadership, job satisfaction, and intrinsic motivation have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, both simultaneously and partially, with a significance value of p < 0.05. The implications of this study suggest that supportive leadership, high job satisfaction, and strong intrinsic motivation can enhance teacher performance in Aisyiyah kindergartens. Therefore, schools are advised to strengthen servant leadership strategies and create a conducive work environment to improve the quality of early childhood education.

Abstract

The aim of research is critical thinking, an important tool to help students make responsible and rational decisions by understanding, analyzing, and evaluating the information they receive. Currently, adolescents' critical thinking skills are not optimal. They tend to be easily influenced by false or misleading information, receive information from social media or the internet without evaluating the truth, so they are vulnerable to hoaxes and propaganda. Teens tend to rely on instant solutions or follow the opinions of others without considering better alternatives. This can result in less effective decision-making and often does not consider future impacts. This study aims to analyze critical thinking from the perspective of Islamic educational psychology in adolescents, focusing on how adolescent development affects their critical thinking abilities. The research uses a qualitative approach and library research methods. The result of this study is that the development of critical thinking in adolescents is strongly influenced by various cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors that are the basis of Islamic educational psychology. A holistic and integrated approach to Islamic education can help facilitate critical thinking skills by emphasizing spiritual, moral, and ethical values in the learning process. In addition, support from family, school, and community also plays an important role in creating an environment conducive to the development of critical thinking skills. The study confirms that with the right approach, Islamic education can contribute significantly to developing critical thinking capacity in adolescents, which in turn will help them in facing life's challenges and becoming more thoughtful and reflective individuals.
