Abstract

This study investigates the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR), benefits, and career development on the intention to apply for a job, while also examining the role of employer branding as a mediating variable. The study employs a quantitative method, utilizing questionnaires distributed online via Google Forms to Generation Z individuals in Jakarta, Indonesia, who are actively seeking jobs and interested in applying to startup companies. The data collected from the surveys were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), a tool suitable for studies with numerous indicators and complex relationships. The descriptive results show that CSR has a positive and significant effect on Intention to Apply in statup companies, while benefits have a negative effect. Employer Brand has an important mediating role in this relationship. This research contributes to filling the gap by offering a more comprehensive understanding of how these factors interact, providing valuable insights for both academia and the practical field of employee branding in startups.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect purchase intention of potential buyers towards Laf Project fashion products by utilizing the Shopee Live Streaming feature. This study employs a quantitative method, utilizing a survey approach to collect data from respondents who have used the Live streaming feature at the LAF Project fashion store. The structured data collection process gathers information on respondents' experiences with the Live streaming feature, which were analyzed using statistical methods to address the research questions and draw conclusions based on the findings. The results of the analysis in this study show that several factors significantly affect consumer purchase intention, namely, the attraction and cognitive assimilation variables mediate the relationship between real-time interaction, shopping guidance, visibility, and media richness with consumer purchase intentions, while influencer credibility in the context of this research problem does not have a significant impact on consumers' purchase intention. The research contributes to the fields of digital marketing and e-commerce by identifying the key factors that drive purchase intention through live streaming, which can offer practical insights for fashion brands and online retailers looking to optimize their sales strategies in live commerce environments.

Abstract

The study aims to compare and analyze the levels of heavy metal contaminants in Solanum tuberosum (Irish Potato) and Daucus carota (Carrot) in Bokkos Local Government Area Plateau State, Nigeria, assessing potential health risks associated with consuming these crops. The research was focused to five heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, and Pb) in Irish potato and carrot sample from five different farms. The concentrations of these metals were gotten in decreasing order as follows: (DIM) Irish potato (A) Cd > Pb > Cr > Ni; (EDI) Irish potatoes (C) Cu > P B > Cr B > Ni B > Cd; (DI) carrot (A), Cu > B > Cu B > P  Ni; and (DIMA) carrot(A) Pb  Cd  Cu  Pb. The health risk assessment indices for the populations through the consumption of contaminated fish were estimated based on the daily intake of metals relative to the reference oral dose (RfD) for each metal. The mean concentration of Pb, Cd, Ni and Cd in tubers was less than the recommended values of FAO/WHO. The risk analysis factors considered were transfer factor (TF), EDI, DIM, bioaccumulation factor (BF), target hazard quotient (THQ), and Health risk index (HRI) evaluated for this study showed moderate to less high risk levels with respect to human exposure through consumption of the vegetables and not the soil as may be indicate in transfer factor. It is therefore recommended to monitor periodically the agricultural farmlands using a different analysis techniques with a view for possible remediation.
