Abstract

This study aims to examine the physical and chemical conditions of the soil in the rhizosphere of Rhizophora sp. mangroves in East Bintuni Village. The soil samples were collected from two locations, namely, the Rhizopora mangrove around the central market and the mangrove forest on Jalan Nusantara. The results of the laboratory analysis showed that the soil of the Mangrove Mangrove Around the Central Market has a soil texture of 3.75%; dust 54.80%; clay 41.45% so that based on the soil texture triangle by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), it belongs to the Silty clay class. The C-organic value of mangrove soil around the market was 5.90% and the archipelago mangrove forests were 5.12% in the very high category. The pH value of the Rhisphere mangrove is 2.95, and the pH value is 3.82, both locations of the pH criteria were very acidic. The Al and Fe values of the RH mangrove are very high (22.86 cmol/kg) and the C-Organic value is very low (39.6 and 41.1, respectively) while the CEC value is medium (18.8 and 41.2, respectively). The results could inform conservation and management practices, helping to preserve and restore mangrove habitats in the region and potentially guiding similar efforts in other coastal areas. In addition, research could examine the long-term effects of these soil conditions on mangrove ecosystems' ability to provide critical ecological services, such as carbon sequestration and coastal protection.

Abstract

New Panjang Jiwo Resort, located in Bogor Regency, is a popular tourist destination for both domestic and foreign tourists. To maintain its sustainability, the resort needs to employ a right marketing strategy and good service quality to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. This research aims to identify customer characteristics of New Panjang Jiwo Resort, analyze the effect of the marketing mix and service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty. The sample consisted of 155 respondents aged 26-35 years, with 60% being women. The average domicile of visitors at the resort is from Jabodetabek and works as a private employee with a lower middle income income category. The results showed that the overall variables of the marketing mix, service quality, customer satisfaction, and consumer loyalty at New Panjang Jiwo Resort are included in the high category. The marketing mix variable had the highest average value compared to other variables. SEM-PLS analysis showed that the marketing mix and service quality had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on loyalty. The managerial implications of this research include building road directions at every crossroads along the main road to the resort, regular maintenance of room air conditioning, and conducting training to improve the quality of work provided by employees. This will help ensure that the resort's services are more tailored to the wishes and needs of customers.

Abstract

This study is aimed at determining whether there is an influence of public service motivation on the performance of health workers' duties, the influence of work pleasure on the work pleasure of health employees, and the influence on work pleasure through the mediation of work satisfaction. The study is in the form of an observational causative study with a cross sectional design, which aims to determine the influence between variables based on measurement results without intervention. The data were collected through an online questionnaire in April 2024 and analyzed using the PLS-SEM technique to estimate the degree of relationship between variables in the structural model. The results of the analysis of the measurement component (outer model) shows good measurability of all indicators marked by outer loading which is high, as well as the validity of discrimination is quite good. The model has a good degree of accuracy because it is able to account for about two-thirds of all variables. For the management of the hospital, it is recommended to add the criteria of high publicly service motivation as a requirement in employee recruitment. Further research is suggested to complement the model by including factors such as work environment, organizational culture, workload, and superior leadership style as covariates. This could help in identifying unique challenges or opportunities for improving task performance and job satisfaction in different healthcare environments, ultimately leading to more tailored and effective management strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of motivation and competence both individually and together on the performance of the gapoktan management. The research method used is a quantitative design with descriptive survey techniques to describe and analyze the relationship between the independent variable (motivation and competence) and the bound variable (performance of the management). The data was collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale to measure respondents' attitudes, opinions, and perceptions. The data analysis includes validity, reliability, normality, and multiple linear regression tests using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) program. It was concluded that the variables Motivation (X1) and Competency (X2) together have a significant influence on the Performance of the Management of the Gapoktan. It can be concluded that motivation has a negative influence that is not significant on the performances of the Gapoktans management. Competence has positive and significant influences on the management performance. The results of this study suggest further development of existing research models by linking variables that have already been studied or adding new variables supported by strong theories. The benefits of this research include providing consideration materials for the group administrators in achieving group goals, expanding the researcher's knowledge, and becoming a reference and information for readers for further research.
