Abstract

In Indonesia, the inheritance law system is divided into civil, Islamic, and customary law. In the context of inheritance rights transfer, the diversity of legal systems that include civil inheritance law, Islamic law, and inheritance law creates its own challenges that can trigger conflicts among heirs. This article discusses the legal certainty of pluralism in inheritance law in Indonesia from these three aspects, as well as the procedures for transferring rights to inheritance in accordance with the applicable legal system. The article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in the legal processes surrounding inheritance. The research emphasizes the need for legal certainty and clearer guidelines to protect heir's rights while advocating for strategies such as clear wills and mediation to mitigate conflicts. Furthermore, it offers practical policy recommendations aimed at harmonizing inheritance laws and fosters a more equitable legal environment that respects Indonesia's cultural diversity.

Abstract

The legal landscape surrounding online legal consultations in Indonesia is complex. This research aims to analyze the legal certainty surrounding the regulation of online legal consults by advocates in Indonesia, contributing significantly to the understanding of the existing legal framework governing these services. Thematic analysis was employed to identify key themes and patterns related to the legal and ethical challenges faced in practice. The findings provide guidance for policymakers on the need for clearer regulations, which could enhance standards and protections for both advocates and clients. Increasing advocates' knowledge about the regulations and ethics of online consultations, developing secure platforms, and clearly promoting legal services to the public are essential steps to create trust and enhance public participation in utilizing these services, while also laying the groundwork for future studies on related topics.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate and elucidate the legal implications arising from the rejection of the Creditor's PKPU Application as determined by the Commercial Court Decision in the Surabaya District Court, case number 79/PDT.SUS-PKPU/2020/PN Niaga Sby., to examine and evaluate the legal options accessible to creditors when the debtor cannot repay the debt. This research is a document study, which uses various secondary data such as laws and regulations, court decisions both at the first level, appeal, and cassation levels, as well as reviews, and legal theory, which can be in the form of opinions of scholars in the field of law. The research analyzed the Commercial Court Decision at the Surabaya District Court Number 79/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2020/PN Niaga Sby., which is the rejection of the PKPU Application from the Creditor.  It is done to see the positive application of law to concrete cases in the community, especially to the judge's considerations that are the basis for issuing decisions. The study results show that the Decision of the Judicial Panel Number 79/PDT. SUS-PKPU/2020/PN Niaga SBY is not following the Law 37 of 2004 concerning PKPU and Bankruptcy, where the Submission of PKPU Creditors (PT. Bank ABC) has met the requirements of Article 222 paragraph 1 of the Law and PKPU, where the Panel of Judges of the Commercial Court considers the Interlocutory Decision of the Panel of Judges of the District Court (Number: 324/pdt.g/2020/PN. Sby) is not yet an inkracht van gewijsde.

Abstract

The legal protection for individuals with mental disorders in Indonesia is governed by various laws; however, there are still significant challenges in their implementation. This research uses a normative juridical method to analyze and study existing laws and regulations, focusing on their application in the legal protection of individuals with mentally disorders. The research aims to provide a thorough analysis that highlights existing regulations and reflects the practical realities, ultimately offering relevant recommendations to improve the legal system and mental health policies in Indonesia. The results indicate that despite having a robust legal framework, the challenges in its application indicate the need for transformation and improvement of the health law system in Indonesia so that the protection of individual rights can be more optimal and sustainable. In addition, healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and counselors, need to receive specialized training on sensitive approaches to mental health so they can provide better and more humane care for patients with mental disorder. Additionally, despite the efforts and regulations that have been established, the implementation of mental health laws and policies has not yet demonstrated the expected effectiveness. This work provides valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and advocates, ultimately advancing the legal discourse surrounding mental health in Indonesia, laying the groundwork for future research and enriching legal scholarship.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of place and promotion within the omnichannel strategy framework on the purchasing decisions of Honda motorcycles at Daya Motor's Soekarno Hatta branch. In Indonesia's competitive motorcycle industry, understanding consumer behavior and the factors influencing purchasing decisions is essential. Employing a quantitative survey method, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to Honda motorcycle consumers. The analysis reveals that both place and promotion significantly enhance consumer comfort and accessibility, with promotion particularly effective in attracting attention and building brand awareness. The integration of online and offline channels in an omnichannel strategy has been shown to improve consumer experiences and streamline decision-making processes. Additionally, the study finds that modern consumers increasingly rely on digital technology in their purchasing journeys, highlighting the need for dealers to adapt to these behavioral shifts. Daya Motor is advised to optimize its omnichannel strategy by enhancing service quality across all distribution channels and innovating promotional activities, thereby better meeting the diverse needs of discerning consumers. This research aims to provide valuable insights for Daya Motor's management to develop more effective marketing strategies that enhance sales and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to develop ranitidine HCl tablets that can be expanded with a matrix from Balinese salak seeds (Salacca zalacca) as a natural matrix material. This formulation is expected to prolong the release time of the drug in the body, thereby increasing the effectiveness of ranitidine therapy in the treatment of gastric diseases. The research method included the extraction of the active components from Balinese salak seeds and the process of making tablets using the wet granulation method, followed by physical tests of the tablets which included the hardness, crushing time, and ability of the tablets to expand. The results showed that ranitidine HCl tablets with Balinese salak seed matrix had physical characteristics that met the requirements of pharmacopooeia, with a slower drug release time than tablets without a developer matrix. Analysis of development capabilities shows that Balinese salak seeds are effective as natural matrix agents to prolong the release time of ranitidine HCl. In conclusion, Balinese salak seed matrix can be used as an alternative in the development of expandable ranitidine HCl tablets, potentially increasing the therapeutic effect of the drug.
