Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Business Behavior and Marketing on Purchasing Decisions at PT Mulya Krida Resik Medan. The research methodology used is the quantitative descriptive method. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data obtained in the form of numbers and numbers. Sources of data in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from distributing questionnaires, secondary data were obtained from companies, journals, and books relating to Business Conduct and Marketing and Purchasing Decisions. The population in this study amounted to 176 customers and the sample in this study amounted to 122 customers. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis methods. There is a positive and significant influence between Business Conduct and Marketing on Purchasing Decisions at PT Mulya Krida Resik.

Abstract

This study is a critical review of an article written by Heru Kurnianto Tjahjono, Olivia Fachrunnisa, and Majang Palupi and had published in the International Journal Business Excellence 2019, 17(3): 336-360 under the heading of “ Configuration of organizational justice and social capital: their impact on satisfaction and commitment”. The purpose of this study is to explain individual behavior in evaluating distributed justice and procedural justice. The method is done by reviewing a number of literature related to the topic of the article. The result indicates that contextual aspects, such as distributive justice, procedural justice, and social capital, play a large role in elaborating satisfaction and organizational commitment. Future studies are important to conduct a broader review of the impact on job satisfaction and organizational commitment in different contexts such as different industries, among different workers generations, and other demographic factors.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence interest and motivation in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in students of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. This research uses qualitative approaches that are descriptive analysis of data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews. The research subjects amounted to 5 people with different majors consisting of students who have a business. The results of this study are factors that can affect entrepreneurship there are 4, namely opinion faktor, family environment, motivation, and community environment, but of these 4 factors that greatly affect the opinion factor.

Abstract

Clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) is a step that must be taken to achieve optimal health degrees for everyone including in the foundation. The emergence of various diseases that often affect children aged (5-11 years) is generally related to Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). Some children exhibit unhealthy behaviors such as preferring to consume unhealthy foods that are high in fat, sugar, salt, low in fiber, increase the risk of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, obesity, and so on. In addition, it was also found that children who did not brush their teeth when after eating and before going to bed so that their teeth cavities. This condition must be anticipated immediately by improving a healthy lifestyle through PHBS. Based on surveys and interviews conducted with children at Rumah Yatim and Duafa Yayasan Islahul Hayat, Pondok Petir said it did not know how to brush teeth properly and correctly. This community service (PKM) aims to improve the knowledge and degree of health of children in Rumah Yatim and Duafa Yayasan Islahul Hayat, Pondok Petir by counseling to maintain dental health and how to brush teeth properly and mass brushing activities. This PKM activity was carried out in accordance with the planning and lasted for one day. PHBS Dental Health Counseling and The Right Teeth brushing Movement is effective to realize health education to instill PHBS values so that it has the potential as a change agent to promote PHBS both in school, family, and community environments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's leadership style and school environment on teacher performance with motivation as the intervening variable at the Yohanes Gabriel Krian Education Foundation. So that the problem that can be formulated in this study is whether there is a significant influence on the principal's leadership style, school environment, and work motivation on teacher performance. The data used in this study were 60 teachers who worked at the Yohanes Gabriel Krian Education Foundation. This study collected data using a questionnaire given to all respondents. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis using the application smartPLS 3.0. The results obtained are that there is a significant influence of the principal's leadership style on work motivation, there is a significant influence of the work environment on work motivation, there is an insignificant influence of the principal's leadership style directly on teacher performance, there is an insignificant influence of the school environment directly on teacher performance, and there is a significant effect of work motivation on teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the legal protection regulations for buyers, the efforts that buyers of apartment units can take in the form of PPJB if the developer is declared bankrupt and how the law should give rights to the apartment buyers. Research on the above problems was conducted using qualitative methods. The type of research used is normative empirical by using approaches with methods of legal interpretation, legal construction, legal philosophy, legal history, and comparative law, as well as a legal pluralism approach. The data used in this dissertation research are primary and secondary and tertiary data which are analyzed objectively based on existing juridical references in order to obtain answers to the problems. Based on the research results from the problems above, it is concluded that there are several arrangements regarding the protection of buyers/consumers in Indonesian positive law, both from civil law, criminal law, customary law, and Islamic law. Buyers of apartment units can also sue in accordance with Article 3 of the UUK and PKPU, although the process must take a long time. The law should provide an update by adding a clause in the PPJB that objects being traded cannot be included in the bankruptcy budget.

Abstract

Human resources have an important role in a company, therefore human resources. Humans should get special attention to knowing the indicators and get employees who are qualified to minimize the occurrence of problems or unwanted incidents within the company. Therefore, human resources are an important asset in the company, in this case, PT. Elnusa Petrofin engaged in distributing fuel oil at one price throughout Indonesia According to Hasibuan (2002: 160), employee performance is a result of work achieved by a person in carrying out his duties on skills, efforts, and opportunities. A person's commitment according to Luthans (2006:249) to the organization is one guarantee to maintain the continuity of the organization. Sinungan, (2008: 146-147) work discipline is a mental attitude that is reflected in the actions or behavior of individuals, groups, or communities in the form of compliance or obedience to the rules and regulations set. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment, occupational health safety, on work discipline and employee performance at PT. Elnusa Petrofin Integrated Terminal Makassar. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis with a sample of 162 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS to test the validity and reliability. Test the research model using SEM with the AMOS version 23 application program. The results of the study prove that organizational commitment, occupational safety, and health have a positive effect on work discipline and employee performance.

Abstract

The construction of Kijing International Port which is being built by the government in the Sungai Kunyit District area of Mempawah Regency is one of the ports that will become the entrance of trade import exports. Port Development in the Kijing region is one of the government's programs to accelerate the provision of national infrastructure as stated in Presidential Regulation No. 56 of 2018 concerning the Second Amendment to Presidential Regulation No. 3 of 2016 concerning the Acceleration of the Implementation of National Strategic Projects. The existence of the construction of the Kijing international port indirectly poses risks or consequences to the government and also the communities around the development area. The impact generated by the development is not only the economic impact but also the social impact received on the construction of the Kijing international port. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the social impacts that occur due to the construction of Kijing International Port in the Sungai Kunyit Subdistrict area. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive summary. As for the output of this research, this research is expected to be used as a book and entered into accredited journals.

This research aims to find out the use of Shopee as a marketing medium for Indomie products in the global era. This research model is a qualitative approach model. Data collection techniques use document studies where document studies are carried out by reviewing documents related to research topics. This subject and research is Indomie Products. The result of this research is the use of Shopee as an indomie marketing medium so that indomie marketing can cover a wider market and be able to compete with other products, Shopee provides free shipping and flash sale programs, can be sent throughout the region, and makes it easier for customers to shop and choose various flavors from Indomie.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how important the interest in entrepreneurship is for students majoring in management at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method that aims to make the reality easier to study and also uses a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the importance of an interest in entrepreneurship must be re-grown in a student. entrepreneurship can also make a person gain a better position in the eyes of society and be able to face challenges. Where support from the family environment and the surrounding community also greatly influences someone's interest in entrepreneurship, where this support can encourage someone to become an entrepreneur.
