Abstract

This research aims to formulate a strategic marketing plan for Harmoni Physiotherapy Clinic through an analysis of the marketing framework, STP (Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning) strategy, and the 7P marketing mix. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with analytical tools such as the Internal External (IE) Matrix, the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), and the Lean Canvas Model. The strategy focuses on market development and unique product services. The research findings indicate that Harmoni Physiotherapy Clinic’s marketing strategy positions itself in a narrow differentiation focus, with the advantages of robotic physiotherapy and hydrotherapy technology, which are not yet available from similar competitors in Bekasi City. The 7P marketing mix includes digital-based services for therapist registration and gender selection, competitive pricing, and integrated promotions through online (social media, SEO, webinars) and offline (hospital collaborations, community service) channels. Short- to long-term sales programs are managed through the “Walk In 12345” activity to ensure business sustainability, along with plans for expansion into the Greater Jakarta area outside Bekasi City in the fourth year. The study concludes that a structured marketing plan that leverages the advantages of robotic technology and a smart digital marketing strategy can be key for Harmoni Physiotherapy Clinic to win market competition in the physiotherapy healthcare sector.

Abstract

Dental caries is the most common chronic oral disease in children and remains the leading cause of tooth structural loss. In the case of some caries, extensive destruction can result in a reduction in the vertical dimensions of the occlusion, which can negatively impact chewing, speech, aesthetics, and even craniofacial development. Therefore, a comprehensive management strategy is essential, combining caries elimination, dental restoration, and occlusal rehabilitation. Stainless Steel Crown (SSC) is considered a reliable restorative material in pediatric dentistry due to its durability, full-coverage protection, and ability to reconstruct occlusal vertical dimensions. This case report aims to describe the management of multiple caries in pediatric patients using SSC as a definitive restoration and tool for vertical dimension modification. A 5-year-old girl was presented with some caries involving several primary molars, accompanied by a decrease in vertical dimensions. Clinical and radiographic evaluation confirmed extensive carius lesions. Treatment involves caries removal and pulp therapy on the indicated tooth, followed by the placement of SSCs on the severely affected molars. SSC restoration successfully restored occlusal contact and corrected the loss of vertical dimensions. The use of SSC in this case not only provides long-term protection for the primary caryrius molars but also restores occlusal balance through vertical dimensional adjustment. This results in improved chewing, patient comfort, and functional stability with no reported complications. SSC thus has the dual role of a restorative solution and a tool for occlusal rehabilitation. SSC is an effective treatment modality in pediatric patients with multiple caries, offering structural preservation and modification of vertical dimensions. Its application supports optimal oral function, comfort, better eating behavior, and weight gain.

Abstract

Transportation is an essential aspect of daily life, as the entire community relies on it to meet various needs. Rapid population growth and the high mobility of residents in the city of Surabaya have created significant challenges in public transportation management. This study aims to identify the reasons behind the low usage of Wira Wiri Suroboyo and to assess the effectiveness of social media marketing for Wira Wiri Suroboyo. A quantitative approach was employed using a questionnaire as the primary data collection instrument, with purposive sampling applied to select respondents. The study utilizes the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Reach, Act, Convert, Engage (RACE), Fishbone, and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis methods. The results of the analysis using the Fishbone diagram show that the root causes of low public interest encompass several factors, including limited public participation, routes that do not cover all densely populated areas, inadequate bus stop facilities, and dependence on the regional budget for operational funding. Based on the SWOT matrix, Wira Wiri Suroboyo is positioned in the maintain quadrant but requires significant improvement in the “Act” aspect of social media engagement. The main strategic priority is to enhance interaction with consumers and provide informative, user-friendly content to build stronger brand awareness. This study concludes that the low usage of Wira Wiri Suroboyo is not solely a transportation issue but also a result of an underdeveloped supporting ecosystem. As a strategic recommendation, the Surabaya Transportation Agency should consistently implement the RACE framework, improve infrastructure (particularly bus stops), and adjust bus schedules at each stop according to actual travel patterns (origin–destination).

Abstract

Large-scale market integration and infrastructure development have long been regarded as accelerators of political liberalization in the Global South, according to conventional modernization theory. A significant exception to this assumption, however, is the operationalization of the Laos–China Railway (LCR). This massive undertaking has ironically reinforced the authoritarian tenacity of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) rather than promoting democratic liberalization. This article argues that the LCR serves more as a tool for political survival than as a means of transportation, drawing on Spin Dictatorship theory. The regime uses the project to construct a concept of Performative Modernity—an impressive display of technological prowess designed to project performance credibility while concealing systemic oppression and financial instability. The analysis demonstrates how the LPRP manipulates the narrative of “transforming from land-locked to land-linked” to justify exclusionary development through a qualitative case study employing process tracing. By introducing the concept of Authoritarian Infrastructuralism and challenging the liberal institutionalist perspective, this study shows that infrastructural connectivity can be effectively decoupled from democratic transformation, thereby supporting the consolidation of contemporary autocracy.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is a key indicator for assessing healthcare quality and influences healthcare utilization behavior, including patient revisits. The Public Health Insurance Program (JAMKESMAS) aims to provide healthcare access for the poor and underprivileged; however, its implementation still faces various challenges that can affect patient satisfaction levels. This research aimed to determine the relationship between JAMKESMAS patient satisfaction and patient revisits to the Pedada Health Center, Pesawaran Regency, in 2025. This study employed an analytical cross-sectional design. A total of 65 JAMKESMAS patients were selected using total sampling. Data on satisfaction were collected through a questionnaire, while revisit behavior was observed using visit logs. Univariate and bivariate analyses were performed using the Chi-square test (? = 0.05). Results indicated that the majority of JAMKESMAS patients were dissatisfied (55.4%) and irregular in their revisit behavior (75.4%). The results of the statistical test showed a significant relationship between JAMKESMAS patient satisfaction and patient revisits to the Pedada Health Center, Pesawaran Regency, in 2025 (p-value = 0.012). An Odds Ratio value of 5.647 indicates that dissatisfied JAMKESMAS patients have a greater likelihood of irregular revisits compared to satisfied patients. It can be concluded that JAMKESMAS patient satisfaction is significantly related to patient revisits. Therefore, improving the quality of healthcare services at the Puskesmas is essential to increase patient satisfaction and encourage regular revisits.

Abstract

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a collection of physical, emotional, and behavioral symptoms that appear during the luteal phase and can affect daily activities, including academic and emotional functioning. This study aims to determine the relationship between PMS and mood changes based on the SPAF and FDMS questionnaires among third-year Faculty of Medicine students. This study uses an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach and was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. Primary data were obtained through the distribution of the Shortened Premenstrual Assessment Form (SPAF) questionnaire to assess PMS levels and the Four-Dimensional Mood Scale (FDMS) to measure mood conditions. The results showed that most respondents experienced moderate PMS (55.3%) and were in a fairly good mood (82.5%). Bivariate analysis using the Spearman correlation test showed a significant association between PMS and mood changes (p < 0.001), with a negative relationship and a weak–moderate correlation strength (r = ?0.379). This indicates that the more severe the level of PMS, the worse the mood tends to be. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the level of PMS and mood changes based on the SPAF and FDMS questionnaires among third-year Faculty of Medicine students. These findings underscore the importance of promotive and preventive efforts, including education on PMS management, stress management, and reproductive health monitoring to support the physical and emotional well-being of female students.

Abstract

Several Tax Court decisions regarding Branch Profit Tax disputes involving Oil and Gas Contractors demonstrate inconsistent rulings for identical BPT disputes concerning the relationship between national tax provisions and the Production Sharing Contract regime. This inconsistency in rulings for similar disputes can be viewed as an indication of legal uncertainty in terms of law enforcement within the Tax Court. This study aims to analyze the legal considerations underlying Tax Court decisions in BPT disputes related to PSCs in the oil and gas sector and to evaluate how these decisions reflect and contribute to the realization of legal certainty in Indonesia's taxation system. This research employs normative legal methods through statutory, conceptual, and case approaches by analyzing several Tax Court decisions related to Oil and Gas BPT disputes. The research results indicate that there are fundamental differences in the application of legal interpretation methods by the panels of judges. Furthermore, some panels of judges emphasize the principle of legality and formal legal certainty, while others prioritize substantive interpretation that considers contractual justice within the PSC. These differing legal approaches result in inconsistent rulings, thereby creating ambiguity in the application of BPT and undermining legal certainty. To achieve equitable legal certainty, it is necessary to harmonize regulations between the Income Tax Law and PSC provisions, establish jurisprudential guidelines, and enact amendments to ensure clearer drafting of PSCs.

Abstract

The enactment of Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning amendments to Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage represents a significant legislative development and addresses the need for uniform marriage legislation applicable to all Indonesian citizens. However, in practice, the implementation of this law continues to present legal challenges for certain segments of society, particularly those seeking to enter into interfaith marriages. This study employs a qualitative and descriptive-analytical approach, examining the issue of legal certainty in interfaith marriage in relation to civil registration legislation. The research adopts a normative juridical method, drawing upon the theories of the welfare state, justice, and legal development. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively, systematically, holistically, and comprehensively, incorporating a comparative analysis of interfaith marriage regulations in other countries. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) The issue of interfaith marriage in Indonesia under Law Number 16 of 2019, which amended Law Number 1 of 1974, is neither clearly nor definitively regulated; consequently, parties who intend to contract an interfaith marriage are left with limited options, namely marriage abroad, conversion to their partner's religion, or obtaining a judicial determination. (2) Interfaith marriage intersects with the civil registration function in Indonesia, whereby civil registration as the administrative mechanism for marriage recording does not itself confer legal validity upon a marriage, given that the validity of a marriage is ultimately governed by the religious law of each individual, in accordance with Article 2 Paragraph 1 of the Marriage Law, which stipulates that a marriage is legally valid only if it is solemnized in accordance with the religious law and beliefs of the parties concerned.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the land grant policy issued by the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy through Governor's Decree No. 368 of 2021, from the perspective of agrarian reform. This study also analyzes the role of the Land Deed Official (PPAT) in providing legal protection during the land grant process in Kalasey Dua Village. The method used in this research is normative legal research with a descriptive-analytical approach. The study collects and analyzes primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials related to the land grant policy, agrarian reform, and the role of PPAT. The findings show that the land grant policy is not in line with the agrarian reform principles mandated by the Basic Agrarian Law and other related regulations. The role of PPAT is crucial in ensuring that the land grant process complies with applicable laws and provides effective legal protection for the community. The conclusion of this study is that the land grant policy implemented by the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi contradicts the principles of agrarian justice, and PPAT plays a key role in ensuring legal compliance to prevent further agrarian conflicts in the community.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key indicator of successful hospital management in delivering high-quality health services. Public hospitals, including RSUD Wamena, face complex challenges related to leadership and work environment due to limited resources, geographical conditions, and organizational dynamics. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on employee performance at RSUD Wamena using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. This study employed a quantitative method with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 employees of RSUD Wamena, including medical and non-medical staff. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS software. Leadership and work environment were treated as independent variables, while employee performance was the dependent variable. The results indicate that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work environment also shows a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Simultaneous testing confirms that leadership and work environment together explain a substantial proportion of the variance in employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of effective leadership and a supportive work environment in enhancing employee performance in public hospitals. This study is expected to provide practical contributions for hospital management in formulating human resource management policies, particularly in strengthening leadership capacity and improving the work environment.
