Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals provide an opportunity for each industry to move towards sustainability. To increase awareness of sustainability issues, event promoters encounter various challenges in planning and organizing sustainable music concerts. This study aims to identify the challenges of achieving sustainable events in organizing two music concerts held in Jakarta, Indonesia from the promoters’ perspective as an effort towards the Sustainable Development Goals. This study used a qualitative approach. A semi-structured interview was conducted with 10 stakeholder representatives to find out the role of decision-makers in planning music concerts. Documents and information from the organizers were used to complete the qualitative analysis. The results showed that sustainable events cannot be applied comprehensively in organizing music concerts. There were obstacles from external and internal promoters in their preparation which affected the decision-making so that they became factors hindering the implementation of sustainable principles in organizing music concerts. The challenges for promoters in preparing for music concerts are the ignorance of stakeholders regarding the environmental impacts, the unprepared facilities, infrastructures to support sustainability, and socialization to achieve sustainable development goals. This research contributes to policymakers by revealing promoter barriers to sustainable events for achieving sustainable development goals.

Abstract

The National Road Relocation Development Project in Mempawah, West Kalimantan, functions as a substitute for a national road that will later be affected by the construction of the Kijing International Port in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Current conditions in the field have found several problems that impede the achievement of progress, which poses several risks. This study aims to analyze the highest level of risk from several identified risks. This is why it is important to conduct a risk analysis study on the National Road Relocation Project. This research method uses a qualitative and quantitative approach, starting with the identification of risks in similar projects, then proceeding to test the relevance of risks that may occur and the impact of those risks. Data collection methods were carried out by distributing questionnaires, conducting focus group discussions, and conducting interviews. Furthermore, quantitative analysis was carried out with response scenarios and Bowtie analysis. The results of this study identified the six highest risks: conditions and field data not in accordance with the design, design changes during the project, land for work that has not been acquired, bad weather disturbances, cost overruns, and material price increases. Contingency costs incurred amount to Rp. 15,757,472,740, or 8.34% of the project value, which is Rp. 188,909,724,300.

In this stud,y the method of analysis was used by taking references from several previous studies related to the management of the scope of construction work. Apart from the literature, data collection and interviews were also carried out with service providers, namely the main contractor for the ABC building construction project in the city of Jakarta. By using knowledge and experience for the implementation of project management, in terms of how the contractor can carry out the process of preparing the scope of construction work in detail. Therefore, information on the results of processed data from respondents who were directly involved in the implementation process of the ABC Building project was also obtained regarding the factors and variables that influence the drafting process to control the scope of construction work to help improve project completion performance. In this case, it produces data that it is known that there are 6 variables that have a strong influence on the preparation of the scope of construction work for the ABC Building project.

Abstract

This writing was written to understand the legal protection of candidates for regional heads in the election process based on Supreme Court Decision Number 1 P/Pap/2021. This study uses the method of literature (library research) and uses laws and regulations as well as decisions as research objects studied. The problems studied in this study are (1) What is the authority of the KPU in carrying out the election process in Indonesia? and (2) What is the legal protection for Regional Head Candidates in the election process based on Supreme Court Decision Number: 1 P/PAP/2021? The conclusions obtained are (1) In carrying out the election process in Indonesia, the KPU is given attributional authority based on Article 13 of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections, the KPU which principally plays the role of executing orders issued by adjudication agencies (both judicial and quasi-judicial). The KPU also has the authority to implement decisions made by Bawaslu and DKPP, follow up on Bawaslu recommendations, and implement MK and judicial decisions within the Supreme Court, (2) Legal protection for Candidates for Regional Heads, namely the Panel of Judges who examine disputes using the legal basis of Article 135A paragraph (6) Law Number 10 of 2016. This article is a form of legal protection for candidates for regional heads whose constitutional rights have been harmed and violated as a result of the issuance of a KPU decision in the election process, namely by taking legal action through the Supreme Court. The result of the legal effort can be in the form of an annulment of the KPU's decision, and the KPU's decision is declared null and void.

Abstract

In the 6th assessment report published by the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), it is stated that the impact of climate change will be felt on the settlements and infrastructure of people living in coastal areas. The magnitude of this potential impact has encouraged the Anambas Islands Regional Government to include this impact in the Anambas Islands District Medium Term Development Plan for 2021-2026. Of course, synergy is needed in handling these impacts by involving all stakeholders, including oil and gas companies operating in this area. This study aims to determine the impact of climate change and the forms of community adaptation, as well as community perceptions of the contribution of oil and gas companies through the CSR change program in order to help mitigate climate impacts and also increase the adaptability of the community. Data was collected from all stakeholders as well as beneficiaries of the company's CSR program, by conducting in-depth interviews, observations, and also using a questionnaire. For the general public, climate change has begun to be felt with extreme weather conditions that often cause disasters, as well as decreased catches of fishermen in coastal areas. In fact, in certain seasons it will affect the smooth transportation of sea people, so that it can affect people's daily activities. Regarding the CSR program that has been carried out by oil and gas companies, the community considers this program very important for them, but further efforts still need to be made in order to meet their expectations, including increasing income.

Abstract

BTS (Base Transceiver Station) is a telecommunications infrastructure in the form of a tower with a transmitting antenna that facilitates wireless communication between communication devices and operator networks. BTS as a signal receiver and transmitter, its existence must be known to a user, such as maintenance staff and BTS tower operation staff to deal with existing problems. So a special system is needed for users to use in determining the closest path between the user and the location of the BTS tower. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for the user to determine the shortest path to the intended BTS tower location and to analyze the Dijkstra algorithm and the A* algorithm in determining the shortest route between the user's location and the location of the Telkomsel BTS tower in Semarang, Central Java. The results obtained from the 82 test data tested with the information system created show that Dijkstra's algorithm is more efficient than the A* algorithm. Validation is carried out by calculating with the system between the user's location and 82 test data or the location of BTS towers in the city of Semarang. The results of the validation carried out explained that the system was running according to the functions made and the results of the calculations carried out by the system were appropriate.

The Information gathering was carried out qualitatively with in-depth interviews and quantitatively with questionnaires. The data was collected and analyzed by content analysis techniques and descriptive statistics related to the perceptions of fishermen groups towards sustainable fisheries by measuring using a Likert scale. The object of this research consists of entities of two oil and gas companies that have community development programs in the aquaculture sector, namely Medco E&P Natuna, Ltd and PT. Primer Oil BV-Harbour energy. The sample determined in this study consisted of 19 people divided into managers and company personnel in the CSR department, and cultivator community groups.
