Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the early childhood education operational assistance fund in improving early childhood education in Tana Tidung Regency. This research employs a qualitative research method, which is a method used to study natural conditions where the researcher acts as the key instrument. The data generated is descriptive in nature, and data analysis is conducted inductively. The data obtained in this study utilize data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The effectiveness of the early childhood education operational assistance fund implemented by the Department of Education and Culture in Tana Tidung Regency analyzed through three factors (Goal Attainment, Integration, and Adaptation), is generally underway, but not fully effective. This can be evidenced in terms of goal achievement, where fund distribution is on target and timely, and in terms of procedures and benefits, where it effectively alleviates the burden of education expenses. Concerning the factor of integration, which involves processes of socialization, clarity of information, synchronization of activities, transparency, and accountability in the utilization of the School Operational Assistance fund, there are still weaknesses in terms of synchronization between schools and the department regarding the importance of openness and transparency in school financial management. Regarding the adaptability factor, analyzed through the ability to respond to changes, the availability of infrastructure and the utilization of technology in the School Operational Assistance fund is not yet fully effective. This can be observed in terms of human resources' proficiency in information technology and the inadequacy of infrastructure.

Abstract

In 2013, telecommunications companies in Indonesia relied significantly on debt loans as a source of funding, with an average capital structure of -11.51%. The highest increase was observed in 2015, reaching an impressive 99.20%. Given this fluctuation, it becomes imperative to conduct research focusing on the adjustment speed of the capital structure in telecommunications companies during the period from 2013 to 2018. The research findings indicate varying rates of adjustment in capital structure, particularly in terms of Debt Equity Ratio (DER). The fastest adjustment was seen in XL Axiata at -19.14% and Indosat at -1.62%, while Telkom Indonesia exhibited a slower adjustment rate at 36.72%, and Smartfren Telecom had the slowest adjustment at 51.96%. Similarly, when considering the Debt Asset Ratio (DAR), XL Axiata displayed the swiftest adjustment at -17.63%, followed by Telkom Indonesia at -9.05%, and Indosat at -3.11%. In contrast, Smartfren Telecom had the most gradual adjustment, with a notable value of 71.70%. These findings underscore the dynamic nature of capital structure in the Indonesian telecommunications sector during the specified period. The varying speeds of adjustment in debt ratios reflect the strategic financial decisions made by these companies in response to market conditions and internal factors. Further analysis is essential to comprehend the factors influencing these diverse adjustment rates and their implications for the industry's financial stability.

Abstract

Marketing products through agency business agreements is a common practice when manufacturers seek to expand their reach within specific territories. In Indonesia, this arrangement is often driven by import and export restrictions imposed on international entities. Due to these restrictions, foreign entities, referred to as principals, must engage agents or representatives to facilitate the sale of their products within Indonesia. This agency relationship is predominantly built upon a contractual agreement. In this agreement, the agent commits to representing the principal's interests, including legal representation if necessary. Conversely, the principal consents to the agent's representation on their behalf, particularly in legal matters. To gather insights into this dynamic, a Conceptual Approach method is employed to collect data. It emphasizes the significance of legal certainty within the framework of formal agreements. In Indonesia, contract law protection is founded upon this concept, ensuring that agreements are upheld. In the event of disputes arising from agency agreements, resolution processes typically defer to the terms stipulated in the initial agreement, emphasizing the importance of a well-defined and legally sound contract.

One of them is the clothing industry which is a global industry that provides basic human needs and is one of the industrial sectors that has an impact on the environment and society. The results show that 3 suppliers are at the High-performance level, 4 companies are in the Medium-performance category, 5 are companies with low performance and 1 company is in the very low category. By categorizing the highest total gain of ESG, namely 100%, and the lowest score of 34.62%. This value indicates the level of compliance with the minimum standards set. Recommendations for Further Research An even number of due diligence is carried out for categories in the fashion industry (clothing, hats, bags, footwear). The aspects and weights of each of these sustainability aspects can be re-analyzed if used for other types of industries outside the fashion industry.

Abstract

The evolution of Indonesia's cultural identity has undergone a profound transformation, impacting the nation's nature, personality, and overall identity. However, this transformation hasn't been fully paralleled in the development of the country's legal culture, which lags behind in comparison. This shift in legal culture can be attributed to a blend of internal and external factors. Internally, the moral fabric of the nation plays a pivotal role in shaping the legal culture. Externally, technological advancements and the influx of foreign ideas and cultures contribute significantly. These external influences are often rooted in globalization, which exposes the nation to diverse legal frameworks and ideologies. The state of the legal culture holds substantial sway over the nation's development, and its deficiency can lead to legal chaos. Legal culture isn't just a passive component; it actively participates in the formulation of laws and their subsequent enforcement. In essence, the collapse or inadequacy of the legal culture can exert detrimental effects on the progress of the legal system and, by extension, national development. Thus, fostering a robust and adaptable legal culture is imperative to navigate the complexities of modern society and ensure coherent legal development.
