Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study show that flexibility work arrangement has a positive effect on Life satisfaction, shown by p value 0.000 < 0.05 and positive path coefficient of 0.503 meaning that the higher the flexibility work arrangement, the higher Life satisfaction. Flexibility work arrangement has a positive effect on work life balance, shown by p value 0.000 < 0.05 and positive path coefficient of 0.576 meaning that the higher the flexibility of work arrangement, the higher the work life balance. Work-life balance has a positive effect on Life satisfaction, shown by p value 0.000 < 0.05 and a positive path coefficient of 0.527 meaning that the higher the work life balance, the higher the Life satisfaction. In this study it can also be concluded that Work life balance can mediate the effect of flexibility work arrangement on Life satisfaction, indicated by p value 0.000 < 0.05, based on the value of R square adjusted variable Life satisfaction of 0.833 this means 83.3% of the variable Life satisfaction is influenced by the variables flexibility work arrangement and work life balance, while the remaining 16.7% variable Life satisfaction is influenced by factors outside the variable flexibility work arrangement and work life balance. Furthermore, the variable work life balance shows an R square adjusted of 0.325, this means that 32.5% of the variability of work life balance is influenced by the variable flexibility work arrangement, while the remaining 67.5% of the variable work life balance is influenced by factors other than the variable flexibility work arrangement.

Abstract

Supreme Court Regulation Number 02 of 2012 concerning Adjustment of the Limits of Light Criminal Acts and the Amount of Fines was created with the intention of facilitating law enforcement, especially judges, to administer justice in the cases they adjudicate. However, in practice, restorative justice with ADR methods has not been optimally applied to light criminal acts. One of the areas with the most disparities is the issue of light criminal acts in the field of the environment. Therefore, this research aims to determine what constitutes light criminal acts in the field of the environment and to understand the legal protection for perpetrators of light criminal acts in the field of the environment. The research method used is a normative juridical method using secondary legal sources. The results of the study indicate the scope of light criminal acts in the field of the environment. Criminal acts regulated in Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management are specified in Articles 41 to 44 of Law Number 32 of 2009. If there is minor theft for environmental results, the Criminal Code must also be considered as the legal framework specifically regulating theft (lex specialis derogat legi generali). Legal protection for perpetrators of light criminal acts in the field of the environment must align with the goals of criminalization, with sociological, ideological, and juridical-philosophical approaches, based on the fundamental assumption that criminal acts disrupt the balance, harmony, and coherence in community life

Abstract

Pepsi's recent advertisement campaign, which features the tagline #BetterWithPepsi, was launched in honor of National Burger Day. The campaign has been promoted across all social media platforms and showcases portraits of fast-food packaging that incorporate Pepsi's signature colors into the branding of popular fast-food chains such as Burger King, McDonald's, and Wendy's. This advertisement has been analyzed using semiotic theory by Roland Barthes, who suggests that the use of the advertisement is akin to a collaboration or combination between fast food and drinks that complement each other, such as Pepsi. The tagline #BetterWithPepsi implies that the public will consume food and drinks that are always together, thereby creating a mindset that associates the consumption of food with the use of Pepsi. The advertisement's use of semiotics is evident in the incorporation of Pepsi's colors into the branding of other fast-food chains, which creates a visual association between the two. This association is further reinforced by the tagline, which suggests that the consumption of food is incomplete without the addition of Pepsi. The advertisement's effectiveness can be attributed to its ability to tap into the public's desire for convenience and the need for a complete dining experience. By positioning Pepsi as an essential component of the fast-food experience, the advertisement creates a sense of loyalty and brand recognition among consumers.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of firm size, profitability, and sales growth on capital structure in the context of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2019-2022. The study aims to provide insights into the factors that influence the capital structure decisions of mining companies in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely www.idx.co.id. The sample size for this research is 11 companies, selected using purposive sampling technique. The findings of the study reveal that firm size has a significant effect on capital structure, indicating that larger firms tend to have a higher level of debt in their capital structure. However, the study finds no significant relationship between profitability and sales growth with capital structure. These results suggest that mining companies in Indonesia may prioritize firm size when making capital structure decisions, while profitability and sales growth may not be significant factors in determining their capital structure. The implications of these findings are important for mining companies in Indonesia, as they provide insights into the factors that influence their capital structure decisions. By understanding the impact of firm size on capital structure, companies can make informed decisions about their debt financing and equity financing options. Additionally, the findings suggest that profitability and sales growth may not be significant factors in determining capital structure, which may help companies to focus on other factors when making capital structure decisions.

Abstract

In the current era, land for farming is increasingly decreasing because the population is so large that agricultural land is being converted into residential land. To enable people to continue farming, especially in urban areas, one of the existing solutions is to use the aeroponic method. In this research, the Internet of Things-based aeroponic lettuce plant nutrition control system found that the TDS sensor was able to maintain the stability of the ppm value of the solution (560-840) ppm according to the needs of the lettuce plant by triggering a peristaltic pump to actively fill the nutrient solution when the ppm value was detected below the set point. The DHT22 sensor is capable of detecting temperatures in the range of 27-33°C and humidity of 70% - 95%. The ultrasonic sensor in the system is used to measure the water level in the box. In this system, to regulate the level of the nutrient solution using a TDS sensor, an average reading value of 675.08 ppm was obtained. The duration of watering and the level of the nutrient solution are done automatically and can be monitored via smartphone so there is no need to check manually every day.
