Abstract

Wahdatul Ulum is the two main concepts in the philosophy of science at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN Sumut), which eventually merge into a broader framework of Wahdatul Ulum and become the driving force behind a philosophy. Wahdatul Ulum is typically used to create a concept that becomes more tangible and can solve human problems in society. The implementation of Wahdatul Ulum can be achieved through an interdisciplinary approach, usually involving research, education, and community service, so that the objectives set within this paradigm can be beneficial to the entire community and future generations. A graduate of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra Medan is expected to possess the character of Ulul Albab, including the personality of a servant of God, a broad ethnic perspective, a sense of happiness in contributing to society, a sense of responsibility, and possessing nine characteristics. Wahdatul Ulum plays a crucial role as the foundation for the university in producing qualified graduates with integrity, who are ready to make positive contributions to society and the nation in the future. This paradigm encourages collaboration and integration between various disciplines, allowing graduates to face the challenges of the time with a holistic understanding and a firm application of Islamic values in their lives.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the figures of philosophers in the world of education, especially Islamic education. In this case we have the task of analyzing Immanuel Kant's thinking (criticism). This research uses research methods on selected references by taking into account the opinions of other figures regarding Kant's policies or thoughts. Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher who was considered one of the most influenced modern European thinkers, as well as the last philosopher in the Age of Enlightenment. He prioritized criticism. which can open or change other people's principles and thoughts about education. According to Kant, everything that happens must first be scrutinized by adjusting the existing ratios. Not with the thoughts of previous philosophers who argued that they only believed easily in the ability of reason without researching or looking directly and observing existing events. Simply put, Immanuel Kant said that if we want to believe or accept something, we must first investigate whether it can be accepted or not.

Abstract

This research This research is research that uses the research library method. This research The method used in this research is the descriptive method, namely research that only describes the research results that the researcher obtained in exploring the data. After that, research validates the data and then abstracts it in the form of written work. The results of this research conclude that the meaning of Amar is that there is something essential and something majestic. Amar's true meaning is only obligatory. while amar majazi has many meanings, namely Amar which means sunnah, irsyad, mubah, ta'dib, indzar and prayer. Meanwhile, the meaning of nahi is essence and majazi. The true meaning of amar is that it is only obligatory. Meanwhile, the majazi meaning of nahi is makruh, prayer, irshad, tahqir, aqibah, ta'yis, tahdid, iltimas, and syufqah. Meanwhile, the rule of Amar is that first Amar does not have to be repeated unless there is a qorinah that requires it to be repeated. Both rooms do not have to be done immediately unless there is a Korina that requires it to be done immediately. When Amar must follow the qayyid that accompanies Amar, it either includes the time to carry out Amar or the order to be carried out immediately. Meanwhile, the rule is that first nahi applies and so on unless there is a qorinah that limits it. The nullity of a prohibited law depends on the prohibition if the prohibited substance is the law. Likewise, the law is void if the prohibition is of a nature that determines what is forbidden. But when what is prohibited is due to something else, the law is not invalidated.

Abstract

This research is a literature that explores Javanese interpretation. The results of the research conclude as follows: First, Javanese society is a society that lives within the confines of Javanese culture. The cultural traditions of the Javanese people in this area are still very strong with Javanese or traditional culture and customs. In principle, Javanese society is a religious society, namely a society that has the awareness to embrace a religion. Second, Tafsir Al-Ibriz neutralizes the Arabist emotions of the Koranic text into Javanese cosmology. Because al-Ibriz used Javanese, exploring the ins and outs of Javanese locality was his test tool. The condition of society in Java is still very much connected with authenticity and peace between citizens and families. Even without any foreign cultural background, typical Javanese society is still stable and inclusive of the traditions brought by their ancestors. The hope is that this can be a stepping stone for Tafsir al-Ibriz to be able to reach the ideal point as expected by his Mushonnif.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative research which is library (Library Research) by using descriptive analysis. As for the results of this research, the author concludes that gratitude in the Al-Qur'an, interpreted by Ibn Kathir and Al-Ibriz, is to be thankful, acknowledge blessings and show them by praising. Or more fully, gratitude is the visible influence of Allah Ta'ala's favor on the words of His servants in the form of praise, on the heart in the form of recognition, and on the limbs in the dimension of obedience or compliance. The point is to repay Allah Ta'ala's favors by means of words, deeds, and accompanied by the intention to always remember Him. Comparison of two interpretations in interpreting the word gratitude, namely: Firstly, according to Tafsir Ibnu Katsir, gratitude is acknowledging the blessings that Allah has given by mentioning them verbally. And use these pleasures to obey Allah Ta'ala so that Allah increases these pleasures and stays away from disbelief in order to avoid His punishment. Second, according to Tafsir Al-Ibriz, gratitude is acknowledging the blessings that Allah has given by mentioning them verbally. A servant's devotion to Allah Ta'ala will not increase his kingdom/power as creator, but a servant's gratitude and devotion will actually increase the servant's own blessings.

Abstract

In the journey of life, humans need guidelines or foundations, such as religion or beliefs that recognize the existence of divine power. Every day, individuals are faced with the task of maintaining, improving and increasing the quality of faith and devotion to the Creator. To achieve this, several paths can be taken, one of which is through the world of Sufism or known as the mystical world. In pursuit of attainment in the mystical world, methods such as meditation or spiritual practice can be applied. The peak of experience in the mystical world is mahabbah or divine love, which is the highest level on the journey to Allah. In this article, the author investigates the theory of Divine love (mahabbah) from a female Sufi figure, Rabi'ah Adawiyah, who first expressed her affection for the Creator. This research adopts a library research approach. The approach method applied involves historical and philosophical dimensions. Data collection was carried out through documentation methods, and analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis methods. According to Rabi'ah, love is defined as a feeling of selfless love and without expecting reward or legal release in return. The focus is on the fulfillment of God's will and its perfection.

Abstract

The discourse of this research relates to the verse on the creation of humans in the interpretation of the QS. Al-Mu'minu>n verses 12-14 interpretation of T{ant}awi Jawhari> with his interpretation which tries to contextualize the text withthe current conditions by using a scientific interpretation approach. So that it raises positive implications that are axiological or applicable that the verses of the Qur'an have continuity in providing instructions for humans which are packaged in a relevant language. And also negative implications, which lead to misunderstandings regarding the verses of mubham, muhkam, mutasyabihat; it is as if the Qur'an came down in relation to events that are happening, even though not all of the verses are like that; and the religious values of the Koran are reduced.

Abstract

The development of information technology provides free access to all aspects of society to access social media as a means of communicating and socializing, especially among teenagers. Not only does it have a positive impact, in fact social media has a negative impact. In this writing, the author explains two problem formulations: first, regarding how body shaming is seen from the perspective of Tahir Ibnu Asyur in Surah al-Hujurat (39): 11. Second, this research also tries to contextualize Tahir Ibnu 'Asyur's interpretation of body shaming. This research uses the library study analysis method, where the author collects data from various sources such as books, books, tafsir books, and journals. In studying interpretation, the conceptual thematic method is used, where the author looks for verses that are relevant to the theme to be studied before carrying out analysis. The results of the analysis show that Tahir Ibnu 'Assyur considers reproaches to be verbal statements and the use of bad titles, but also notes that reproaches can manifest in bodily actions such as hand or eye movements, which can give rise to feelings of offense, as well as other bodily movements.

Abstract The main issue discussed in this article is al-Khazin's view of the classification of iddah. This article is library research, descriptive analytical in nature. In analyzing the research data, we use a deductive method by putting forward theories, postulates or generalizations of a general nature, then presenting specific facts, and using descriptive methods. There are several provisions for the classification of 'iddah which are explained in al-Khazin's interpretation of the verses of 'iddah, namely: (a). 'Iddah for pregnant women is until giving birth, due to thalaq or the death of her husband. (b). The 'iddah for women whose husbands die and are not pregnant is up to four months and ten days.(c).The ‘iddah of women who have performed dukhul after being dukhul or not yet having dukhul is that there are two divisions, either those who are still experiencing menstruation, namely for three quru' or not experiencing menstruation because of the age of menopause or the child has not yet reached puberty, has not experienced menstruation, period The 'iddah is for three months, whereas if the thalaq has not been completed at all then there is no 'iddah period.
