COVIT (Community Service of Health) : Jurnal pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat adalah jurnal yang mempublikasikan hasil pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Jurnal ini berguna bagi tenaga kesehatan masyarakat di dinas kesehatan, puskesmas, mahasiswa kesehatan masyarakat, tenaga pengajar kesehatan masyarakat khususnya dan bidang kesehatan lainnya pada umumnya. Jurnal Pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat menerima naskah dalam bentuk hasil-hasil pengabdian masyarakat baik dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris. Naskah yang diterima adalah naskah yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya. Kami berharap artikel-artikel pada edisi ini bermanfaat bagi dunia ilmu kesehatan masyarakat dan dunia kesehatan.

Abstract

Until now, Indonesia is still struggling to fight the Covid-19 virus pandemic. The number of positive cases of Covid-19 continues to increase every day. The government always urges the public to follow health protocols because that's what we all need during a pandemic. Of course stopping the spread of the Covid-19 virus will not be easy. For this reason, we are encouraged to increase body immunity so that we can fight the Covid-19 virus. One way to increase body immunity is to adopt a healthy lifestyle. To have a good body condition, a person must have a clean and healthy lifestyle. In this community service activity, the PkM IBN Pringsewu team held socialization activities for clean and healthy living behaviors and maintaining health protocols which aim to provide an understanding of the prevention of Covid-19 as well as clean and healthy living behaviors. The method used in carrying out this socialization activity is using the lecture method by going around to the residents' environment. This activity has the benefit of increasing understanding among residents about the importance of maintaining health, cleanliness, and implementing health protocols in preventing Covid-19. Abstract

Extracurriculars are activities organized to meet the demands of mastery of study materials and lessons with time allocations that are arranged separately based on needs. Extracurriculars are one way to improve sports achievement, especially in this case, badminton. However, this will not happen if only students are trying to improve their achievement, extracurricular supervising teachers must also try to improve student achievement. This activity exists at every level of education from elementary school to university. Extracurricular activities are aimed at enabling students to develop their personalities, talents and abilities in various fields outside of the academic field. After carrying out team service, it is concluded that extracurricular management factors affect the achievement of each student. The results obtained are that the first extracurricular must have adequate facilities, the second is that it is no less important that the extracurricular must also have financial assistance to finance each activity and the third is proper scheduling starting from practice to matches. Abstract

It is important to innovate in the educational process so that the knowledge gained will generate people's motivation to improve their economy. Getting a proper education is the right of every individual, so it needs support not only with a strong will but also a stable economy. It is important for every family to set aside the interests of educational expenses. One of the high schools in Prabugantungan Village is SMA Negeri 1 Cileles. The number of Cileles 1 Public High School graduates who are interested in studying at tertiary institutions is still relatively small as shown by the sharp decline in SNMPTN registration. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the influence of parents' economic conditions, school environment, and interest in continuing their education to tertiary institutions, both simultaneously and partially. The method of implementing this socialization activity consists of 3 stages, namely the observation stage, the lecture stage, and the discussion stage. It is hoped that this socialization will provide motivation and at the same time help SMAN 1 Cileles students regarding the importance of continuing their education to tertiary institutions to improve quality human resources and is one of the efforts that needs to be made to achieve the desired goals. Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is currently very rapid. Everyone is required to be able to use it in fulfilling the ease of obtaining the expected needs. The Padangsidimpuan Batunadua sub-district office is no exception, where the office has the main task of serving the community and fulfilling administrative needs as an Indonesian citizen. In serving, it takes understanding in the field of service systems and how to improve the quality of these services. One of the activities that can be carried out to increase the understanding of sub-district office employees about public services is socialization. The benefit of this socialization is to improve the quality of service and fulfill community satisfaction. From the results of this socialization activity, the participants increasingly understood the online-based public service system, knew the steps for making a web, and how to utilize the internet network, the right communication network. This activity received a very good response from the participants, was active in asking questions, and hoped that there would be other activities that would support their work at the Padangsidimpuan Batunadua sub-district office. Abstract

Regional or culinary specialties are one of the attractions for visitors or tourists who will visit. Dali ni horbo is one of the regional specialties in the North Tapanuli Regency. Dali ni horbo is made from buffalo milk. Dali ni horbo is cooked in the traditional way and uses pineapple juice as a thickening agent. In other areas in North Sumatra, there are also those who use papaya leaf extract and alo-alo as a thickening agent. Dali ni Horbo is sold in the market by traders only packaged using plastic. Simple processing methods and simple packaging methods are obstacles for Dali ni Horbo traders which causes the shelf life of Dali ni Horbo to be short, and the supply of raw materials (buffalo milk) to make Dali ni Horbo is still relatively difficult to obtain. Thus, several product innovations and the development of marketing strategies are needed so that more and more people know about Horbo Dali Ni so that the demand for Horbo Dali Ni will increase. Abstract

This PKM technical guidance was carried out at the Darul Azhar Aceh Tenggara Islamic boarding school on Thursday, January 19 2023. All class VII students werw targeted and this activity was carried out using the ecplicit instruction method (direct teaching). Most of the students at the Darul Azhar Aceh Tenggara Islamic boarding svhol have a basic understanding of microscope increases significantly after the introduction and practice of microscopy. Only 20% of students in demonstrating being able to understand microscopy. After this activity was carried out there was an increase, namely 90% of class VII students were able to understand the use of a microscope. Abstract

The purpose of implementing this community partnership program (PKM) service is (1) to minimize the impact of killing characters on children (2) to assist the Sibolga City Government in providing information and knowledge to the community, especially the families of victims of child violence in Sibolga City in early psychological handling of victims ( 3) educating the public on prevention and early detection of the psychological condition of children as victims of violence (4) giving birth to trauma healing counselors in the Sibolga City community who can reduce the number of violence against children by changing social norms and cultural practices in society (5) building systems at the level of communication and family in preventing violence. The method of implementing training activities for Community-Based Integrated Child Protection Activists and Volunteers includes 3 stages, namely: (1) Training Preparation Stage, (2) Training Implementation Stage, (3) Final Evaluation Stage. PKM's community service partners are the Sub-District Community Empowerment Office, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection in Sibolga City. This program is implemented as an effort to produce trauma healing counselors in the Sibolga City community who can reduce the number of violence against children by changing social norms and cultural practices in society. This activity also aims to enable Community-Based Integrated Child Protection Activists and Volunteers to assist the Sibolga City Government in providing information and knowledge to the community, especially the families of victims of child violence in Sibolga City in early psychological treatment of victims. It is hoped that this program will run well and the knowledge of the community will increase. The expected outcome of this mentoring program is the publication of scientific papers in national proceedings and journals with ISSN. Keywords: Trauma, Healing, Training

Abstract

Request for salak sidimpuan every year. is quite high but the production of salak is decreasing every year as a result of climate change and also the way of cultivation that has changed. During the harvest season, there is a surge in production which causes low prices. The main obstacle that arises is the decreasing production of salak every year. Community service activities in Lembah Lubuk Raya Village, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency gave very positive results seen from the enthusiastic response of the farming community to participate in activities, both socialization activities on value added for zero waste and training in the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer. Abstract

As is known, the discovery of plastic has a positive impact that helps humans a lot, because plastic has advantages over other materials. However, plastic is a component of a substance that cannot be decomposed, thus raising concerns that it will become a destructive waste, even though the number continues to increase. This can be seen from the case of increasing plastic waste that has occurred in the village of Terusan Mulya. If this problem is not resolved, it will become a serious problem. Based on this analysis, this community service activity needs to be carried out in a program that can increase public awareness, especially for students to care about protecting their environment. Therefore, the approach of making creative products or handicrafts from plastic waste management is the method chosen, because it can be a learning medium that develops students' creativity and curiosity. Based on the results of the evaluation, it is known that the practical benefits obtained by the students in the Terusan Mulya Village are: 1) the students receive clear and complete information regarding the nature of community empowerment in terms of knowledge and skills. 2) The students who participate in the training get a clear picture of the potential steps for making creative products by utilizing single-use plastic waste to sell, so it has economic value. 3) Training participants also get a clear and complete picture of the benefits of waste if it is managed properly. Abstract

Short children (stunting) is one of the nutritional problems faced in the world, especially in poor and developing countries. Stunting is a problem because it is associated with an increased risk of morbidity. Stunting is caused by a long-term lack of nutrition during the first 1000 days of life (HPK), which is a critical period. 1000 HPK is a period of acceleration of child growth and development (gold period) which starts from the womb for 280 days of pregnancy until toddlerhood for 720 days or around 2 years. This period is a period that determines the quality of life so it is called the golden period. This period is a sensitive period because the consequences for children at this time will be permanent and cannot be corrected. For this reason, it is necessary to fulfill adequate nutrition at this age (Achadi, 2020). In the community service program implemented, it aims to empower cadres in overcoming stunting problems through promotive efforts through Counseling on Assessment of Child Growth and Development by practicing directly how to measure and weigh toddlers by the community service team. The result of community service is an increase in cadres' knowledge about stunting and its prevention. Furthermore, to increase cadres' knowledge about stunting, continuous educational efforts and regular cadres are needed Keywords: Counseling, Stunting
