COVIT (Community Service of Health) : Jurnal pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat adalah jurnal yang mempublikasikan hasil pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Jurnal ini berguna bagi tenaga kesehatan masyarakat di dinas kesehatan, puskesmas, mahasiswa kesehatan masyarakat, tenaga pengajar kesehatan masyarakat khususnya dan bidang kesehatan lainnya pada umumnya. Jurnal Pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat menerima naskah dalam bentuk hasil-hasil pengabdian masyarakat baik dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris. Naskah yang diterima adalah naskah yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya. Kami berharap artikel-artikel pada edisi ini bermanfaat bagi dunia ilmu kesehatan masyarakat dan dunia kesehatan.

Abstract

The objectives of implementing this community partnership program (PKM) service are 1) understanding of PKM in the midst of the Kolang Nauli Village community, 2) understanding in socialization in the midst of the Kolang Nauli urban village community, 3) understanding the importance of utilizing the yard of the house as a source of food needs and additional family income in Kolang Nauli village. The method of implementing the activities of utilizing the home yard as a source of food needs and additional family income includes several stages, namely: 1) Preliminary Stage, 2) Socialization and Audience Stage, 3) Final Evaluation Stage. The result of this activity is that the community can utilize and understand how important it is to use the yard as a source of food needs and additional family income in the Kolang Nauli sub-district. The PKM community service partner is Kolang Nauli Village, Kolang District, Central Tapanuli Regency. This program is carried out as an effort to broaden the community's insight into the use of yards as a source of food needs and additional family income. Keywords: Yard, Utilization, Source, Income

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide additional blood stock to PMI that can be used by people who need blood. PkM blood donor participants totaling 41 donors which is an important part in efforts to balance blood demand and stock. It is hoped that the participants will benefit from this activity, if done sincerely, this endeavor is very noble and will be beneficial for the giver, so that the participants are very enthusiastic about participating in community service activities for blood donors at STIKES Bethesda Tomohon. Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy is a condition where the hemoglobin level in the blood is below normal, namely the hemoglobin level <11 g/dl. Anemia in pregnancy can cause fatigue, weakness, decreased appetite, frequent dizzy vision, dizziness and pale lips, this is caused by a lack of nutrients for blood formation, such as iron deficiency, folic acid and vitamin B12. Anemia that often occurs in pregnant women is anemia due to iron (Fe) deficiency. Anemia is one of several factors that cause maternal death. In pregnant women, anemia increases the frequency of complications in pregnancy, childbirth, the risk of maternal death, prematurity, low birth weight, and perinatal death. Anemia can also cause antepartum and post partum bleeding. Counseling about anemia in pregnant women is an effort to increase the knowledge of pregnant women to meet nutritional needs so as to avoid anemia in pregnancy. The purpose of community service activities is to provide knowledge about anemia and how to prevent anemia in pregnancy. Counseling methods with lectures and questions and answers to pregnant women. Conclusion pregnant women understand how to prevent anemia in pregnancy. It is suggested to health workers, especially the Dr. Sunedi clinic, to provide more frequent health education about anemia to pregnant women in early pregnancy and to check hemoglobin levels so that symptoms of anemia are detected immediately and can be prevented. Abstract

Asthma recurrence can affect quality of life, but smoking can exacerbate the patient's condition so that it has an impact on quality of life. The purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge for puskesmas visitors about the impact of smoking on the quality of life of asthma patients. The method used is a question and answer discussion/discussion and the provision of booklets. The results obtained by the respondent's knowledge increased from before being given counseling to after being given counseling. The conclusion is that the counseling provided increases the respondents' knowledge about the impact of smoking on the quality of life of bronchial asthma patients. It is hoped that by doing this community service, asthma patients can stop smoking and stay away from cigarette smoke. Keywords: Quality of Life, Quality of Life, Counseling

Abstract

Meka Tailor owned by Mrs. Ni Nyoman Mekawati is a kebaya sewing service business located in the Saba Village area, Gianyar, Bali. This thriving business was built around 2020 during the covert pandemic. At the beginning of this business, partners received all forms of sewing orders for clothes. But along with the dominance of kebaya orders, partners are now focusing on kebaya sewing services. In receiving his orders, partners only rely on a network of friends and relatives who already know him. This is because partners have not yet marketed this business through this growing internet medium. The orders that came were also not small. In just one day, partners are able to process at least 3 kebaya sewing orders that must be completed. Sometimes there are no orders coming in for a while, which results in no income for partners. The purpose of this service activity is to introduce Instagram social media to help market the kebaya sewing service business owned by partners. Keywords: training; kebaya; social media; instagram

Abstract

Providing education on Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) based on ethnoscience aims to increase students' knowledge of the importance of self-awareness and the environment by instilling a healthy mindset, through existing local wisdom, relevant to the demands of the times so as to create a healthy, intelligent and cultured school community in facing the era of society 5.0. The lack of knowledge of PHBS in students can lead to various personal and environmental health problems. PHBS is basically all public health behavior carried out on personal awareness. Even though it has long been echoed by the government through the ministry of health, however, PHBS in schools now feels even more crucial considering that face-to-face learning activities have been carried out after the Covid 19 pandemic. They are expected to adopt a healthy lifestyle to create healthy schools and the environment around schools. That way, the teaching and learning process will run smoothly. This activity was carried out at SD Negeri 13 Kubu Gulai Bancah Bukittinggi in the form of counseling with the help of power points, discussions, watching videos and demonstrations of the 6 steps to washing hands properly and correctly. Through this ethnoscience-based PHBS education there was an increase in students' knowledge as evidenced by the great enthusiasm of students and the many questions asked regarding personal health problems and the environment around them. Abstract

Financial reporting is a form of accountability and a critical component to maintaining transparency and accountability, and provides financial information as a basis for decision-making, building donor trust, assessing performance, and managing fundamental risks. The Gamping Great Mosque Foundation is a non-profit organization established to improve the governance of the Gamping Great Mosque to be more trustworthy, professional, and accountable. The condition of financial management at the Gamping Great Mosque Foundation, which has not been standardized is one of the obstacles in disclosing the foundation's financial statements. The purpose of the service activity is to provide knowledge and insight into preparing the Mosque's financial statements to the Gamping Great Mosque Foundation administrators in managing and reporting the foundation's finances. Service activities are carried out using lectures, training, discussion, and mentoring methods during the service period by involving the management and support staff of the Gamping Great Mosque Foundation. Service activities run according to the planned stages. However, the service team experienced obstacles with limited human resources to manage and report the finances of the Gamping Great Mosque Foundation. Abstract

Occupational Health Effort Post (UKK Post) is a form of Community-based Health Effort (UKBM) and is a form of community empowerment in informal worker groups, in terms of preventive and preventive efforts to protect workers from occupational diseases and free from health problems healthy life. Community service aims to provide assistance in the formation and implementation of independent and sustainable UKK Post activities in Tanjung Banun Village, Batam City. This community service activity method is carried out with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) agenda with the Fisherman Community. In general, the results of community service activities are the formation of an organizational structure for the UKK Post along with clear duties and responsibilities, the formation of Occupational Health Cadres, the availability of the UKK Post, the availability of First Aid boxes containing basic medicines and medical equipment and the Galang Health Center UPT as a facilitator in the Development of the UKK Post in Tanjung Banun Village, Batam City. The conclusion is the need for the puskesmas as a facilitator in carrying out the activities of the UKK Post and the participation of fishing communities as a resource in the establishment of the UKK Post. Abstract

The goal of community diagnosis is to be able to find out how many people are exposed to diseases and problems in RT 16 & RT 27 so that in the future the community will not be exposed to these diseases and can find out how to prevent them properly and correctly. The problem solver uses the USG method and then the authors carry out MMD (Village Community Consultation) activities so that in the future the problem can get the right solution. Based on the results of the priority analysis that has been carried out, there are three problems, namely the storage of wet (organic) waste that is not separated, the use of stacked sockets, and hypertension. An alternative solution to the problem is carried out by conducting counseling using power point media and stickers. Prior to counseling as an alternative problem solving, MMD was carried out first to help solve existing problems in the community. Then by carrying out interventions with counseling it is hoped that the community can reduce the use of stacked sockets when using electronic equipment.
