COVIT (Community Service of Health) : Jurnal pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat adalah jurnal yang mempublikasikan hasil pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Jurnal ini berguna bagi tenaga kesehatan masyarakat di dinas kesehatan, puskesmas, mahasiswa kesehatan masyarakat, tenaga pengajar kesehatan masyarakat khususnya dan bidang kesehatan lainnya pada umumnya. Jurnal Pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat menerima naskah dalam bentuk hasil-hasil pengabdian masyarakat baik dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris. Abstract

Money politics is one of the damaging factors in the life of democracy in Indonesia. This community service aims to provide education in the form of political literacy about the dangers of money politics that often occur during elections. Money politics has a negative impact in Indonesia, including eliminating community sovereignty, distorting democracy, and worsening the quality of democracy itself. Therefore, a joint commitment is needed to fight money politics, especially in villages where money politics often occurs. The method used in this community service is to conduct intense lectures to the Perboto Village Community of Wonosobo Regency about the dangers and impacts of money politics. The findings of the community service show that money politics still often occurs at the existing election levels, both from the presidential election, governor, regent, and even village head elections. Therefore, this socialization activity is beneficial for the Perboto Village Community, Wonosobo Regency in adding insight into the dangers of money politics, which can also impact themselves and not only affect the person who gives. In addition, Indonesia will also face simultaneous elections in 2024, which is a good enough reason to increase socialization about the dangers of money politics in the community. Abstract

Stress is one of the impacts of social change and the result of a modernization process which is usually caused by the proliferation of technology, changes in living arrangements and increasingly severe competence between individuals. It is important for nurses to understand the stress response and how individuals attempt to cope with various factors and situations that cause stress (Arita, 2009). About 60% of hospital employees are nurses. Technically the nurse's task takes up more time because they have to monitor the patient's progress intensively within 24 hours. Thus the role of nurses is increasingly involved in the healing process of patients and service satisfaction for their patients. If nurses are unable to handle the demands in the work environment, physical and emotional fatigue will appear which will ultimately lead to burnout in nurses. Community service activities at Bangkinang Regional Hospital entitled "Counseling on Work Stress Management for Nurses" were carried out well in two meetings, namely on June 28-29 2023, which were attended by 68 participants. Abstract

The digital and technological era has brought a huge shift in conducting tests and evaluations. Tests and evaluations can be carried out using technology to measure abilities in a more efficient and sophisticated way. Currently, several learning activities at SMPT H. Abdul Malik still use conventional methods. Teachers have not been able to make maximum use of technology for carrying out tests; most teachers still use a paper-based system. From the problems above, teacher training is held on utilizing Google forms in learning activities, especially test and evaluation activities. This community service aims to increase the knowledge of SMPT H. Abdul Malik teachers about applying the Google form to measure student learning outcomes. The method used in the implementation of community service uses online drill and practice, where participants listen to the directions and presentations of sources via videos sent by the community service lecturers team, giving examples. Question and answer sessions and discussions are carried out online through the WA group. The stages of implementing community service are the pretest, presentation of material, posttest, and evaluation of activities. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, it showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of the teachers before and after the Google form training was carried out. Teachers are very interested in applying this knowledge to learning with students. By using Google forms, learning will be more interactive, and teachers feel that this training is very useful for streamlining teacher tasks. This Google form training can be used as a tool for collecting, analyzing, and communicating effectively with students and parents to develop quality education. Abstract

Language is the most effective communication tool. Every human being uses language to interact with other humans. To achieve good communication, good language mastery is also needed. Good language is communicative language that is often used in oral communication. Not infrequently, many people still do not have the courage to express their opinions in public. So efforts are needed to increase people's courage to speak in public. The aim of this service is to increase people's courage to speak in public. In order to achieve this goal, various methods are used, including lectures, demonstrations, questions and answers, direct practice, and assignments. At the end of the program an assessment is carried out to see the level of success of the program. The posttest results showed that there was an increase in participants' courage in speaking in public by 51%, from an average pretest score of 44 to 85. This 36% increase is considered a fairly high increase. Keywords: Anchor; Javanese language; Communication.

Abstract

The Seruni Women's Farmers Group (KWT) whose address is at Bumi Tamalanrea Permai Housing Block G, Buntusu Village, Tamalanrea District, Makassar City was formed on March 12 2013, this KWT is chaired by Hj. Hartinawati, assisted by A. Emilda as Secretary and Hj. Zaenab as treasurer and 27 other members were formed from the Food Security program with the aim of realizing food self-sufficiency. This KWT utilizes empty land which is a public facility (Field) in the BTP Bloh H housing complex. Seruni KWT focuses on horticultural plants, especially vegetables, considering that the planting area is not very large, only using a green house. ccording to the results of an interview with the chairman of KWT Hj. Hartinawati said that Seruni KWT is urban farming in nature because it is located in the middle of an urban settlement and consists of housewives who have other routines so it has not been managed optimally. The main problem is related to production, namely the cultivation aspect in terms of maintenance, the lack of personnel in charge of carrying out maintenance, especially watering. The solution offered to overcome partner problems related to sustainable maintenance is the creation of IoT-based sprinkler irrigation for watering with the aim of making efficient use of water, time and labor. The approach method for solving the problem is the delivery of theoretical material regarding the use of IoT-based sprinkler irrigation, and marketing techniques. and continued with a demonstration and practice of designing an IoT-based sprinkler irrigation system carried out by KWT members. Abstract

To overcome the problem of the high incidence of HIV AIDS, the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation Number 21 of 2013 concerning the prevention of HIV and AIDS has been stipulated, which contains efforts to overcome HIV/AIDS in Indonesia. So this activity is part of the community service carried out by AKPER Bethesda Tomohon lecturers, which aims to provide health education about HIV/AIDS to students at Christian Vocational School 2 Tomohon. There were 154 HIV/AIDS counseling participants, where this activity was an important part of efforts to prevent HIV/AIDS in the community, especially students. It is hoped that participants will benefit from this activity, such as knowing the HIV/AIDS disease process, causes, transmission, treatment and prevention. Abstract

The aim of implementing the Community Partnership Service (PKM) program is to improve their skills in applying make-up, especially bridal make-up. This training also aims to improve the abilities of training participants so they can fill or open jobs so that they automatically reduce unemployment and can increase the income of the people of Patupangan Village. The training implementation includes 3 stages, namely: (1) Training Preparation Stage, (2) Training Implementation Stage, (3) Final Evaluation Stage. PKM's community service partners are the Patupangan Village Community, Barus District, Central Tapanuli Regency. The partners' most important problem is how to improve the economy of the people of Patupangan Village, Barus District, Central Tapanuli Regency so that it becomes better and develops through Make Up Art Class training. Apart from this, it is hoped that the people of Patupangan Village, Barus District, Central Tapanuli Regency will increasingly understand business opportunities by taking advantage of existing opportunities and being able to provide decent profits. It is hoped that this program will run well and increase people's insight. The expected outcome of this mentoring program is the publication of scientific works in proceedings and national journals with ISSN.

Abstract

Chikungunya fever is an infectious disease caused by alphavirus which is spread by the bite of mosquitoes of the Aedes aegypti species. In Banyumas Regency, recently the incidence of Chikungunya fever has increased again. At least hundreds of residents in a number of villages have contracted Chikungunya fever. The aim of this activity is for the community to have a good understanding of chikungunya (causes, management, treatment), to be able to independently carry out preventive measures against chikungunya, and to be able to take initial steps to deal with chikungunya incidents within the family before the patient is taken to a service location. health. The activities that will be carried out include cognitive aspects with the aim of understanding mastery of the material by working on practice questions as in the attachment, carried out before and after the activities are carried out (pre and post test), while in the affective and psychomotor aspects group discussions will be carried out using the FGD model. (focus group discussion) and emergency simulation activities for cikungnya patients. Meanwhile, monitoring the role of cadres in empowering the community to prevent cikungunya outbreaks is carried out in the form of evaluating the results of jumantik (larvat monitoring officers) activities carried out in each RW. The target of the activity is the community, especially posyandu cadre mothers and the PKK mobilization team in Ledug Village, Kembaran District. The activity was carried out on Sunday, April 19 2022, attended by 25 posyandu cadres and 15 Village PKK mobilization teams, located at the Ledug Village hall. The activities carried out covered 3 main topics: First, education about chikungunya. Second, delivery of material on eradicating mosquito nests (PSN) and larva monitoring (Jumantik), and third, delivery of material on emergency nursing for chikungunya patients, as well as simulating the emergency situation of dengue fever patients before being referred to the hospital. The next stage of activities is aimed at the village PKK mobilization team to become extension officers. The activity schedule adjusts to the regular meeting schedule. In this second stage, the implementing team for implementing science and technology for the community only carries out monitoring and evaluation during activities in each RT. The results of the evaluation of activities in the second stage, seen from the larva monitoring activities (jumantik) by members of the PKK driving team, are expected to continue, as an effort to prevent the cikungunya outbreak. In conclusion, the implementation of community empowerment model activities in efforts to prevent chikungunya shows positive results, and cadres are the spearhead of driving community participation in PSN activities (eradicating mosquito nests) especially in larva monitoring (jumantik) activities

Abstract

One of the aims of extracurricular sports activities is to develop talents and interests towards achieving optimal sporting achievements. The aim of PPKM activities is to socialize the management and development of extracurricular sports activities in schools for teachers of physical education, sports and health at SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Sigala-gala. to provide information and knowledge to school principals, physical education teachers, sports and health, extracurricular sports coaches, students, parents and the educational academic community regarding procedures for managing and coaching extracurricular sports activities in an effort to achieve sports achievements at school. The final result that can be expected from this PKM activity is to provide additional knowledge to physical education, sports and health teachers regarding procedures for managing and coaching sports extracurricular activities so that they can be applied at school so that the goals of these sports extracurricular activities can be achieved effectively, efficiently, safely. , and smoothly. The method used in this activity is scientific discussion and questions and answers for 1 day, namely on Saturday 19 Agustus 2023 starting from 08.00-12.00 WIB.

Abstract

There are still considerable levels of drug use in several Indonesian regions. For health practitioners, like pharmacists in this case, raising public awareness about drug usage is still a task and struggle, particularly during the month of fasting. Meal timings will vary during Ramadan, thus it is necessary to modify the time you take your prescription as well. Medication that is taken every six or eight hours needs to be controlled in order for the patient to continue fasting. This project involved using pamphlets and surveys to educate 24 respondents about drug usage during the month-long fast at the Rumbai Bukit Community Health Center. The purpose of performing this community service is to perhaps educate the community on when to take medications during the fasting month, how to take medications correctly, and which medications do not interfere with fasting. Based on data analysis results, respondents who answered five questions correctly on the pre-test (i.e., with errors of 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1) had an average score of 0%, 4.16%, 50%, 41.6%, and 4.16% to 0% on the post-test, indicating an increase in public knowledge. In an attempt to educate or empower the community, it is advised that a planned and organized community service project be implemented.
