Abstract

This research aims to detail the process of absorbing Arabic vocabulary into Indonesian, emphasizing phonology, morphology, and semantics changes. This approach is library research using the listening, tapping, and free listening methods to collect data from various sources such as books, articles, networks, magazines, newspapers, and related documents. In phonological analysis, it was found that Arabic loan words used in daily communication experienced phonological changes, including sound changes, sound weakening, and changes in certain sounds. The results showed significant changes in the pronunciation of loan words. Meanwhile, semantic analysis reveals changes in meaning in borrowing Arabic words into Indonesian, including narrowing, widening, and changes in the meaning of adjectives, nouns, adverbs, and verbs, including changes in referential meaning. From a morphological perspective, changes in word classes are recorded, such as changes from nouns to adjectives, nouns to verbs, and other changes. The complexity of vocabulary absorption is illustrated through changes in these word classes. This research highlights that absorbing Arabic vocabulary into Indonesian is dynamic and complex. These findings have important implications for the evolution of Indonesian and interlanguage relations. Changes in phonology, semantics, and morphology reflect the complex interactions between these two languages, which will continue to develop along with changes and developments over time. This research provides deep insight into understanding the evolution of Indonesian and the dynamics of interlanguage relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze how MSMEs in Manado City promote the development of digital payment usage. It employs a quantitative method, with 201 respondents particularly from the culinary sector of North Sulawesi Province, focusing on Manado City. Sampling was conducted through an online questionnaire using Google Forms distributed via social media. The research applies the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with modifications, incorporating perceived risk and social influence variables. Convenience sampling was utilized, and data was analyzed using SEM-PLS software. The findings demonstrate that all constructs tested—perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk, and social influence—can influence attitudes in encouraging MSMEs to adopt digital payment methods in their businesses. The implications of this research suggest that awareness of the importance of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk, and social influence in adopting digital payments can help MSMEs increase acceptance and usage of digital payment methods in their business operations. Therefore, development and promotional strategies focusing on strengthening these factors could be key in accelerating digital payment adoption by MSMEs. Additionally, stakeholders, including the government and industry players, can utilize these findings as a basis for developing policies and support programs aimed at expanding digital payment penetration in the MSME sector.

Abstract

Bullying is a dangerous problem in education today, especially for students. Most students are victims of bullying from their schoolmates. Bullying in students that is carried out continuously will have an impact on mental health. Many victims of bullying have not received an education, so they do not dare to reveal it to teachers or parents. This condition makes it difficult for teachers to monitor and follow up on bullying cases at school. This study aims to determine what causes children to be bullied and the impact of bullying behaviour on fourth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen. This research uses a qualitative case study type. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Primary data sources were obtained from observations and interviews with students, teachers and parents. The secondary data sources are through records and journals. Based on the results of research at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen, the results show that the form of bullying behaviour is direct verbal, physical, and psychological bullying. The factors that cause this case are influenced by parenting style, play environment, socialization and mass media. So that this treatment has an impact on the behaviour of victims who are traumatized, become quiet, not confident, and have feelings of fear. This fourth-grade student showed that it was too severe, for example, cursing with parents' nicknames, slapping hands on the head, and fighting with friends. Efforts made by parents and teachers to increase children's supervision of relationships are through the parent-teacher meeting evaluation program.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate seismic sensors in detecting ground vibrations caused by tank or military vehicle movements. Ground vibrations generated by tank movements have specific characteristics, where the produced frequency remains constant depending on the tank's weight and the area of the track's footprint. The amplitude of these vibrations provides information about the detection range, wherein the larger the amplitude, the closer the detection range to the tank. The method employed involves field experiments or the collection of quantitative data from field trials. Test results indicate that ground vibrations produced by tanks have an average frequency of 332 Hz, depending on the tank's weight and the area of the track's footprint. The average amplitude is 4.3 volts at a detection range of 1000 meters, 5.1 volts at 500 meters, 7.6 volts at 200 meters, 8.8 volts at 100 meters, and 12.1 volts at 50 meters. The implication of this research is that seismic sensors can be effectively used as tools to detect tank or military vehicle movements at different distances. These findings could be beneficial in the development of security systems or early detection in areas vulnerable to potential threats from tanks or military vehicles.

Abstract

The research aims to understand how urban land consolidation can solve these problems and improve environmental quality and maintenance of natural resources by involving active community participation. The research method is qualitative, with documentation techniques as one of the data collection methods, by viewing and analyzing documents created by the subject himself or other people about the topic. Data analysis, which consists of three main activities, namely data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing/verification, is a series of activities inseparable from one another. This research shows that the primary substance in land consolidation is that community participation is necessary to donate part of their land, which will then be used to construct public and social facilities. Therefore, it is essential to socialize land consolidation with land rights holders or participants so that they understand the process and mechanism for implementing the land consolidation project correctly. With this understanding, urban land consolidation can be a problem solver and solution for creating a suitable living environment according to spatial planning and making land available for public and social purposes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze differences in increasing commitment to the organization between Generation X and Generation Y. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The research results found a significant difference in the level of commitment to the organization between Generation X and Generation Y. This difference can be attributed to differences in perceptions of empowerment and organizational values. Generation Y tends to show higher levels of commitment commitment because they are more open to participation in decision-making and value flexibility, innovation, and opportunities for development. They accept and are encouraged by empowering practices within the organization and values that align with their personal and professional aspirations. On the other hand, Generation X, although recognizing the importance of empowerment and organizational values, may need to be more skeptical or have lower expectations, which affects their level of commitment to the organization. This research has implications for Generation Y; organizations can focus on implementing broader empowerment practices, providing space for participation in decision-making, and providing opportunities for innovation and professional development. Meanwhile, for Generation X, efforts can be focused on clarifying organizational values and providing a more personalized approach to supporting their career development. Additionally, organizations can also consider customized training and development programs to suit the needs and preferences of different generations. Thus, this research provides valuable insights for human resource management in responding to generational differences in the workplace to increase the level of commitment and overall organizational performance.
