Abstract

This research design is a quantitative study that examines the relationship between the effect of Bahari Prosperous Cooperative credit distribution and the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Mamuju Regency. The study employs a quantitative analysis method, utilizing numerical data collected from respondents' responses on a Likert scale ranging from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest). A research questionnaire was distributed to 30 respondents using purposive and subjective sampling techniques. The research data was processed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software version 24.0 to determine the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable through a partial t-test. The analysis in this study follows a simple linear regression formula, where the independent variable (X) represents credit distribution, and the dependent variable (Y) represents business development. Hypothesis testing of the Sejahtera Bahari Cooperative credit distribution variable (X) yielded a significance value of 0.889, using a significance threshold of 0.05 (5%). Since the obtained significance value (0.889) is greater than 0.05, and the t-count (-0.140) is less than the t-table value (2.05183), it indicates that the distribution of Sejahtera Bahari Cooperative credit has no significant effect on the development of SMEs in Mamuju Regency. As a result, H₁ is rejected, and H₀ is accepted, meaning the hypothesis is not supported. Furthermore, the correlation between the distribution of Sejahtera Bahari Cooperative credit and the development of SMEs in Mamuju Regency is very weak, as indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.026, which falls within the coefficient interval of 0.00 – 0.199.

Abstract

Indonesia's rapid population growth and industrial development have increased fuel oil consumption, mainly diesel fuel. The high diesel fuel consumption is feared to cause the depletion of diesel fuel reserves. To overcome this problem, it is time for Indonesia to examine the use of alternative energy sources to replace diesel fuel. The raw material for alternative energy sources is plastic waste. The amount of plastic waste in Indonesia is relatively abundant, so it has potential when utilized as an alternative energy source through pyrolysis. This study aimed to analyze the effect of pyrolysis temperature and the amount of zeolite catalyst on the yield, viscosity, and cetane index of diesel oil from LDPE plastic waste that produces environmentally friendly diesel. The LDPE plastic waste used was 40 kg of crackle plastic. The pyrolysis temperatures were 250 C, 300 (o)C, 350 C, and 400 C. The amount of zeolite catalyst used was 0%, 2.5%, and 5%. The characteristics of diesel oil tested were viscosity and cetane index. The results were compared with the quality standards of diesel oil based on the Decree of the Director General of Oil and Gas No. 146 of 2020. The results showed that the highest yield of diesel oil was 6.83%, the best viscosity was 2.645 mm2/s, and the best cetane index was 51.61. The viscosity and cetane index of diesel oil that meets the quality standards of environmentally friendly diesel fuel based on the Decree of the Director General of Oil and Gas No. 146 of 2020 are found in diesel oil with pyrolysis temperatures of 300 C, 350 C, and 400 oC at 5% catalyst use, namely 2.334 mm(2)/s; 2.165 mm(2)/s; and 2.035 mm2/s for viscosity values and 47.13; 48.97; and 51.61 for cetane index values. The potential use of LDPE plastic waste as a diesel oil producer in North Sumatra Province in 2021 is 5,340 tonnes/year; by 2030, it will be 5,424 tonnes/year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the export performance of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, as the leading producers in ASEAN, from 2014 to 2023. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach to evaluate production, consumption, export volume, export value, and competitiveness through the Market Share Index (MSI) indicator. The results indicate that Indonesia dominates the global CPO market, with the highest average export volume and export value compared to Malaysia and Thailand. Domestic policies, such as export restrictions, and global market dynamics influence Indonesia's export value fluctuations. Malaysia demonstrates stable production and domestic consumption but faces challenges in enhancing its international competitiveness. As the smallest producer, Thailand shows steady growth but contributes significantly less than the other two countries. Factors such as government policies, changes in global prices, and extreme weather conditions affect the export performance of all three countries. This study is expected to provide strategic insights for improving the competitiveness of CPO exports in the international market.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of audit quality research trends using VOS viewer, examining 913 Scopus-indexed articles from 2020-2023. Through co-citation and co-occurrence analysis, we identify key developments and knowledge gaps in the field. Findings indicate sustained growth in audit quality research, with publications peaking at 288 articles in 2023 (a 29.7% increase from 2022). The intellectual structure reveals DeFond and Zhang's (2014) work as most influential (147 citations), while network analysis uncovers nine thematic clusters. Notably, we identify under-researched areas including key audit matters, AI applications, and audit efficiency metrics. The analysis particularly highlights the growing relevance of digital transformation themes - artificial intelligence, integrated reporting, and technological efficiency measures - as emerging frontiers in audit quality research. These findings provide: (1) a systematic mapping of the field's evolution, (2) quantitative validation of research trends, and (3) priority directions for future studies. The study contributes to auditing literature by offering empirical evidence of shifting research focus toward technology-integrated audit processes, suggesting the need for more work examining how digital innovations impact quality measurement and assurance practices. Practitioners and researchers can leverage these insights to align investigations with current industry demands and technological advancements in the auditing profession.

Abstract

Community development and empowerment have long been part of the vision and mission of the Indonesian government, from the central level to regional and village governments. This mandate is rooted in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and further supported by several regulations, including Law No. 25 of 2004 on the National Development Planning System and Law No. 23 of 2014 on Regional Government, as amended by Law No. 9 of 2015. One of the key stages in regional development planning is the musrenbang (development planning deliberation), a participatory planning process. However, not all initiatives can be realized due to the high volume of proposals from the residents. In response to this challenge, Samarinda Mayor Andi Harun and Deputy Mayor Rusmadi, for the 2021–2024 period, introduced the Community Development and Empowerment Program, known as Probebaya. This program aims to strengthen village-level governance, enhance the quality of human resources among officials and residents, empower the local economy, increase environmental awareness, and improve basic infrastructure at the neighborhood (RT) level. Probebaya is a key element in implementing the city's micro-level development mission. This study adopts a qualitative research approach with an exploratory design, delving deeply into Probebaya as a flagship initiative and a tangible expression of the Samarinda City Government's political commitment to its citizens. Data were analyzed using the interactive model by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014). The findings reveal that the Samarinda City Government has fulfilled its political promise of providing a 100 million rupiah development fund for each RT head through Probebaya. The program serves as a commitment to community development and empowerment via a region-based model coordinated at the RT level and implemented through a Type IV self-managed funding scheme. Now in its fifth year, Probebaya has undergone several improvements and refinements. However, challenges remain, particularly in synchronization and harmonization with village partner institutions, whose roles have seemingly been replaced by the growing strength of RT-level community empowerment initiatives. The political promises made during the campaign, along with the challenges posed by the transition from the COVID-19 pandemic to an endemic phase, have required the current Mayor and Deputy Mayor to "think and act beyond the usual"—in other words, to think and operate outside the box.
