Journal Competency of Business is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (July and December) by the Management Study Program at Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta. Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction at Talago Biru Padasuka Restaurant where the independent variables, namely product quality and service quality, on customer satisfaction as the dependent variable. The research was conducted in Padasuka Village, Cimenyan District, Bandung City, West Java. Data collection methods used are interviews and questionnaires filled out by respondents, namely customers of the blue talagoPadasuka restaurant. Sampling of 100 respondents, in this study using convenience sampling technique. The research method of this thesis is quantitative method, the analysis used includes validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing which includes F test and T test. correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination. The results showed that with a significance of 0.000 <0.10 then there was a significant effect between product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and explain the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction (customer satisfaction); to determine and explain the effect of price perception on customer satisfaction (customer satisfaction); to determine and explain the effect of customer satisfaction (customer satisfaction) on customer loyalty (customer loyalty) and to determine and explain the effect of customer satisfaction (customer satisfaction) on customer loyalty (customer loyalty) moderated by gender. The sampling method that will be used is the non-probability sampling method. In this study, samples were obtained that were not planned, but by chance, which were available to researchers at the time of data collection (convenience sampling). The number of samples specified in the study was 300 people, this has fulfilled the assumption of using SEM and the limitations of time and cost. The sample in this study is BRI Bank customers in Yogyakarta. Analysis tool using SEM analysis with AMOS program. The results showed that service quality had an effect on customer satisfaction (customer satisfaction); price perception has an effect on customer satisfaction (customer satisfaction); customer satisfaction affects customer loyalty and gender affects the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image, product quality, celebrity endorsements on Instagram on consumer buying interest in MS GLOW skin care products. Using the survey method, the sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents who were consumers of MS GLOW skin care products. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. Based on the results of multiple linear regression, brand image has a significant effect on consumer buying interest, product quality has a significant effect on consumer buying interest, and celebrity endorsements on Instagram have no significant effect on consumer buying interest.

Abstract

The development of the world of work is growing so rapidly with the outsourcing work system. The outsourcing system is a work system that uses the services of a power expert in managing a particular job or project. There are some negative perceptions from the public about the status of outsourced employees because they are considered to have lower compensation rights and there is no guarantee of career certainty and employment status in the long term. In addition, the number of complaints and dissatisfaction with receiving compensation for outsourcing employees, directly or indirectly can affect work motivation. This study focuses on the motivation and compensation of the Outsourcing Security Worker Unit at PT Pesonna Optima Jasa in Sleman Yogyakarta entitled "The Meaning of Compensation in the Perspective of Survival". The purpose of this research is to find out: 1. perceptions of outsourcing work and compensation, 2. employee motivation and reasons for staying as outsourced employees. In this study, the authors used qualitative research methods with a case study approach and data collection methods in the form of interviews and documentation. Speakers are seven people. Test the validity of the data, test transferability and test credibility. The data testing method is data triangulation, data analysis is reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study conclude that firstly, employee welfare has an important role in creating employee motivation to work and the influence of the amount of compensation to meet needs with workload and responsibility given to employee motivation and performance. Second, there is intrinsic motivation from employees to realize their desires, namely being able to fulfill their life needs and there is to realize their desires, namely being able to fulfill their daily needs and extrinsic motivation, namely companies that provide compensation in the form of salaries as a reason to still survive outsourcing staff/employees other than that, do not get the opportunity. in other jobs, although the income of outsourced employees is still far from feasible and not commensurate with the responsibilities given, this results in a decrease in employee motivation.

Abstract

The objectives this study to analyze the influence of the ability of financial report preparation, educational background, and competence of MSMEs on the operational performance of MSMEs. The study population was MSMEs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta with a sampling technique using a questionnaire distributed during the Covid-19 pandemic with the criteria for MSMEs that had been standing for at least three months. This research method uses multiple regression models. The statistical analysis conducted was validity test, reliability test, residual data normality test using one sample Kolmogorof Smirnof, multicollinearity test, heteroscedastic test, t test, and determination coefficient test. The test results show that the ability to compile financial reports and the competence of MSMEs has a positive effect on the performance of MSMEs, while the educational background of MSMEs does not have a positive effect on the performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study is to determine the extent to which the independent variable factors (GDP, Inflation, Exchange and Interest Rates) affect the dependent variable (Exports) in the last 20 years. Quantitative research aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of the variables of GDP, Inflation, Exchange Rates and Interest Rates on Exports, and also to test hypotheses in order to strengthen or even reject the hypothesis. With the following results: Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has a positive and significant effect on exports, Inflation has no effect on exports, Exchange rates have a negative and significant effect on exports, Interest Rates have no effect on exports, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Inflation, Exchange rates and interest rates simultaneously and significantly affect exports

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, all industrial companies will develop rapidly with the advantages created by each company. In this case, the alternative is usually used by the company to maintain its advantage, namely by investing in the capital market. In the Indonesian Stock Exchange there are various options for investing; one of which is in the health sub-sector.The health sub-sectoris included in the trading and investment category on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which plays an important role in the Indonesian economy in investment. This study aims to determine the effect of Return on Assets, Earning Per Share,and Price to BookValue on stock prices in health sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This study applied the Purposive Sampling method in sampling. The data used secondary data collected using the data documentation method. The results of this study can be concluded that (1) Return on Assets (X1) significantly affects stock prices; (2) Earning Per Share (X2) significantly affects stock prices; (3) and Price to Book Value(X3) has no significant effect on stock prices; (4) Return on Assets (ROA), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Price to Book Value (PBV) together have an effect on stockprices.

Abstract

The capital market in Indonesia has experienced quite good growth. This is indicated by the increase in average stock trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, where one of the sub-sectors that have high purchasing power is pharmaceutical companies. This condition is inseparable from the current economic situation in Indonesia. One of the government's efforts in dealing with economic problems is to suppress the inflation rate and increase the rupiah exchange rate. This study aims to determine the effect of inflation and exchange rates on the stock price index of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies. The methods and analysis used were classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing which consisted of t test, f test, and coefficient of determination. The results obtained after data analysis showed that partially the inflation had no effect on the stock price index, while the exchange rate had an effect on the stock price index. Simultaneously the inflation and exchange rate affected the stock price index.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan lima variabel, yaitu Design (X1),berita terkini(X2), pengalaman menarik saat membaca(X3), waktu penayangan(X4) dan kesesuaian berita (X5). Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara online (e-kuesioner) pada Pelanggan di Yogyakarta yang pernah menggunakan aplikasi Tokopedia. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 orang responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel design (X1),berita terkini (X2), pengalaman saat membaca (X3), waktu penayangan (X4), kesesuaian berita (X5) secara bersama-bersama berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap Struktur Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Hasil Uji Simultan atau Bersama-sama (Uji F) menunjukkan bahwa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat yaitu Struktur Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Uji signifikansi pengaruh konten pemasaran Tokopedia terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan, dengan F statistik diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 5,731 dan probabilitas (Sig.) = 0,000. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa konten pemasaran Tokopedia (meliputi indikator design, berita terkini, pengalaman saat membaca, waktu penayangan, dan keseuaian berita), secara bersama-sama atau simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan. Koefisien determinasi (R2) diperoleh sebesar 0.394 yang berarti bahwa sekitar 39.4% variasi pada variabel keputusan pembelian pelanggan mampu diterangkan oleh kelima indikator konten pemasaran Tokopedia, sedangkan sisanya yaitu sebesar 60,6% diterangkan oleh variasi lain di luar model

Abstract

Agresivitas pajak merupakan sebuah tindakan yang bertujuan untuk menurunkan beban pajak melalui perencanaan pajak dengan menggunakan cara yang tergolong atau tidak tergolong pelanggaran pajak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah struktur kepemilikan, tingkat leverange, dan Financial distress berpengaruh terhadap agresivitas pajak. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019 - 2021. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh adalah 93 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analissi regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama struktur kepemilikan, leverage, dan financial distress terbukti berpengaruh terhadap agresivitas pajak baik ketika aggresivitas pajak diukur dengan Effective Tax Rate (ETR) ataupun Book Tax Difference (BTD)
