Abstract

Jakarta is experiencing rapid growth, leading to a reduction in green open spaces (RTH). As one of the efforts to address this issue, Tebet Eco Park (TEP) has been revitalized into an urban park that serves both ecological and social functions for the community. This study aims to analyze visitors' perceptions of TEP by examining structural and personal aspects. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating both qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews with park management, and distribution of questionnaires to 60 respondents. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics to determine visitor perceptions based on the established aspects. The results indicate that visitors' perceptions of the structural aspect obtained an average score of 2.82, while the personal aspect received an average score of 3.13. Both aspects fall into the "agree" category, demonstrating that visitors generally have a positive perception of the park. However, there is still room for improvement in the structural aspect, particularly in the dimensions of environment, social norms, and culture. Factors such as cleanliness, public facilities, and vendor and parking management are key concerns affecting visitor satisfaction. Based on these findings, it is expected that park management will implement further improvements and developments to enhance service quality and visitor comfort at Tebet Eco Park.

Abstract

Fraud through WhatsApp has become one of the most frequently reported forms of cybercrime. The modus operandi used by the perpetrators is very diverse, ranging from offering goods or services at low prices but not in accordance with reality, asking for money on behalf of the victim's friends or family, to utilizing the victim's personal data for illegal purposes. Not a few people who are victims of this fraud have experienced significant financial losses, even up to billions of rupiah. Fraud through WhatsApp in Indonesia has become an increasingly worrying problem because according to data from the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) in 2024 states that online fraud is the highest type of cybercrime, reaching 32.5% of total reported cases. This research is a type of empirical legal research oriented to primary legal materials (the results of field research) and the research was conducted at the Pasangkayu Resort Police on the grounds that the selection of the location of the research was based on the consideration that based on the existing facts there were several significant cases in recent years. Law enforcement of fraud crimes through WhatsApp in the jurisdiction of the Pasangkayu Resort Police has not been carried out effectively because in its implementation there are still many unresolved police reports and public complaints that are not followed up due to several things, namely due to policy inconsistency, complexity of reporting and the speed of handling cases is still very low. The lack of effective law enforcement in handling fraud crimes through WhatsApp in the Pasangkayu Resort Police Jurisdiction is due to various factors, namely legal factors, law enforcement factors, facilities and infrastructure factors, community factors and cultural factors.

Abstract

Islam does not prohibit various kinds of social customs and cultural traditions, as long as they do not conflict with Islamic law and creed. The earth alms ritual which is held in several regions of the archipelago is a legacy of ancestors which is essentially a manifestation of human gratitude towards the Creator. In practice, many earth charity ritual ceremonies have now experienced acculturation with Islamic values, namely sharing the harvest accompanied by offering prayers to Allah SWT as an expression of gratitude. The tradition of giving alms to the earth by the residents of Bukit Biru Tenggarong sub-district aims to build togetherness among fellow farmers, namely as a form of gratitude for the good fortune and delicious harvests from the agricultural sector that Allah SWT bestows on the farming community. The earth alms tradition, viewed from the perspective of Islamic law, can be categorized as 'Urf. 'Urf is a habit that has long been preserved by society and which later became a custom. Apart from that, 'Urf also has the meaning of a habit or action that is considered good by society.

Abstract

This article examines the meaning of needy and poor in the Qur'an and its implementation in the social context in Indonesia through an indigenization approach. By using literature review methods and descriptive analysis, this research reveals the meaning of needy and poor from the perspective of contemporary language, terms and interpretations. The concept of Islamic indigenization initiated by KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) became the theoretical basis for adapting universal Islamic values to the Indonesian context. The research results show that the needy and the poor have fundamental differences, where the poor reflect a more severe condition of deprivation than the poor. The implementation of this concept in public policy in Indonesia, such as poverty criteria by BPS and zakat regulations by BAZNAS, shows the relevance of Islamic values in dealing with poverty. This research also highlights differences in poverty indicators in various regions in Indonesia which are influenced by local social and economic conditions. This research recommends updating poverty data and indicators to adapt to socio-economic dynamics, as well as the need for a contextual approach in implementing policies based on Islamic values to ensure more inclusive social justice.
