Abstract

This article was to find out about the effectiveness of applying dictogloss technique on students’ narrative text. A Quasi-Experimental design was used in this method, with using pre-test and post test design. Subject of this research was at the eleventh grade at state senior high 10 Bandar Lampung. The result of this study showed that the value of to (tobservation ) was 5.2. The value of t table with degree of freedom 38 in significance degree 5 % was 2.02 and in significance degree 1% was 2.71. It indicated that to was higher than or 2.02 < 5.26 > 2.71. for those analysis, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and t alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Hence, it was inferred that there were significant difference between students’ narrative writing score who were taught by dictoglos technique. Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the level of readability of students’ result translation and the error using translation procedure. The researcher used qualitative research. The subject of this research was 15 students at the fifth semester. The result show that the percentages of students’ idiomatic translation result in readability aspect were; 14% data of the translation result was readable, 59% data of the translation result was almost readable, and 27% data of the translation result was unreadable. The percentage of students done mistake in procedures of translation were: 70% students’ errors in using addition, 60% students’ error in using omission, and 40% student’s error in using transposition. Mostly and relatively they translated the text literally, using unacceptable term, translated out of the context

Abstract

A person who has a disciplined attitude will reflect through obedient. obedient and orderly behavior with a feeling of responsibility for what has become the rules he has received. In reality, discipline seems hard for some people to do, it covers all aspects of discipline. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi minimnya karakter disiplin siswa di SMP Islam Cendikia Darussalam dan menganalisis bentuk kerjasama sekolah dan orang tua di SMP Islam Cendikia Darussalam The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, the methods that are usually used are interviews, observation, and document. Qualitative descriptive in this study is used to develop a theory that is built through data obtained in the field. The factors that influence students, thats is parenting styles in daily life, social relationships, and self-understanding. The forms of cooperation that exist are cooperation and socialize school rules, form school and parent / guardian cooperation organizations, school committees, home visits, receive visits from parents of guardians, collaborate in groups, and carry out counseling guidance at schools. Efforts are made through collaboration, namely carrying out deliberations with guardian parents, learning the character of discipline from an early age which is carried out jointly between teachers and schools, internalizing disciplinary values ??in subjects, building a conducive school environment in various ways including those equipped with school infrastructure, holding positive activities that build character values ??of students, control, rewards and punishments, and modeling. Abstract

The relationship between the world of education and Islamic boarding schools is the same thing and is interrelated. Many things are involved and included in it. The social sphere is something that cannot be separated from Islamic boarding schools. In this advanced era, several Islamic boarding schools carry out learning developed by many groups, namely learning English, which students must also master in the current era. The method used in this service is ABCD, namely the appreciative discovery process, asset development analysis, program strategy analysis, program narrative summary, program monitoring and evaluation techniques with dormitory management partners at Islamic boarding schools. The expected target of assisting Islamic boarding school boarding school administrators in developing English is to be able to create language agents for developing English in their respective Islamic boarding schools. The assistance, material and management will be provided in developing English in Islamic boarding schools. In this way, it is hoped that after assisting Islamic boarding school administrators who become English language agents, they can develop English in their respective Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of halal certification implementation on business development and revenue increases for cassava cracker small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Raman Fajar village. The research focuses on empowering the local community through guidance and training in obtaining business licenses and halal certification. The primary objective is to enable the community to achieve a better economic state and to serve as a form of student service through empowerment, training, counseling, mentoring, and exploring potential developments. The community service activities aim to ensure that all production stages, raw materials, and manufacturing processes comply with the established halal standards. Using a mixed-method approach, data were collected through interviews, surveys, and documentation involving 50 local businesses. The analysis revealed that the implementation of halal certification significantly enhanced consumer trust and opened new market opportunities for cassava cracker products. Quantitatively, there was a 30% increase in sales and a 25% expansion of the customer base following the certification. This study demonstrates a tangible contribution to business partners by providing halal certification and labels ready for packaging. The findings suggest that these efforts not only improve product competitiveness but also contribute to sustainable business growth in Raman Fajar village.

Abstract

This article aims to develop interactive powerpoint-based English learning media for grade XI students of MAN 1 East Lampung. This research method is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. ADDIE research stages include analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research instrument is an interview sheet, validation sheet, student and teacher response questionnaire. This research data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. Qualitative descriptive analysis was conducted on the results of interviews. Quantitative descriptive analysis was carried out on the results of expert validation and student and teacher response questionnaires. Based on the analysis conducted, the percentage of feasibility results from material experts was 92.5% with the criteria "very worthy", the validation results from language experts were 81.25% with the category "very worthy" and the validation results from media experts were 94.73% with the criteria "very worthy". And also evidenced by the results of the trial to students with a percentage of 85.108% with the criteria "very worthy" as well as a teacher response questionnaire which obtained a percentage of 96.66% with the category "very worthy". Based on the results of the data obtained, it shows that interactive powerpoint media is very worthy for use in the learning process. Abstract

The objective of this study is 1) to develop learning media for crossword puzzles to improve vocabulary; 2) to determine the feasibility of learning media for crossword puzzles to improve vocabulary from material experts and media experts; and 3) to know the effectiveness of developing learning media for crossword puzzles to improve students’ vocabulary. The type of research used is research and development (R&D). The method used is the ADDIE development method. The research subjects involved are 8th grade students of Darul A’mal Metro MTs, for a total of 15 students. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the learning medium of crossword puzzles to improve students’ vocabulary is effectively used in the teaching and learning process based on the N-Gain Score scores obtained with a score of 100% in the high category.

This research is a development research with the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in this study consisted of 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 3 students for individual trials and 33 students for group trials. The methods used for data collection in this study were interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. As for the data analysis method using quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The process of developing English learning media through animated learning videos for grade 9 students goes through 4 stages, namely analysis, design, development, and implementation. The results of the material expert review showed a percentage result of 100% (very feasible), media experts showed a percentage result of 88% (very feasible), individual tests showed a percentage result of 88.6% (very feasible), and the results of the group test showed a percentage result of 85, 6% (very feasible). Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the development of English learning media through animated videos for grade 9 students of SMP Maarif Ansoru Al Hasaniyah, Rukti Basuki, Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency is very feasible to use
