Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Amtsilati method in improving the reading skills of yellow books of students at the Al Falahiyah Islamic Boarding School, Batanghari, East Lampung. The approach used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and verification of findings based on triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study indicate that the Amtsilati method is effective in improving students' understanding of Nahwu & Shorof. This method provides a more systematic learning structure, makes it easier for students to memorize Arabic language rules, and improves their skills in reading and understanding yellow books independently. However, this study also found that the main challenges in implementing this method are the limited resources of competent teachers and the lack of consistency of students in practicing the material that has been learned. Thus, this study recommends strengthening learning strategies based on the Amtsilati method with a more interactive and adaptive approach, as well as improving the quality of teachers to support the effectiveness of this method in the long term).

Abstract

This paper explores the trend of online premarital schools and their digital transformation in the context of family law education in Indonesia. Premarital schools promote Islamic family law thinking that provides guidelines for ideal family relationships. The development of premarital schools can be a requirement for marriage registration outside of marriage guidance organized by the Ministry of Religion. With various digitalization innovations, online premarital schools have been developed. Interestingly, the public's enthusiasm for participating in online premarital schools is very high. The focus of this study is to reveal the trend of online premarital schools that are developing in Indonesia and how digital transformation in family law education is developed in online premarital schools. Using qualitative methods, researchers trace the innovations and attractions developed by several digital-based premarital school organizers. The findings are that the Salman ITB Online Premarital School, Nurul Ashri Premarital School, and Sunnah Marriage Camp Deen Academy have existed and developed in Indonesia. The shift from conventional premarital education to online is based on accessibility, namely the ease of access to information by utilizing digital platforms as learning media. Flexibility in the process of interaction and adaptation of online premarital school technology has facilitated the transfer of family law knowledge. The next finding is the family law education facility in the form of e-learning so that all its benefits can be felt online.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Anchor-based podcast as an innovative learning medium to enhance the pronunciation skills of high school students in English. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), referring to the Borg & Gall (1983) model, which has been modified into seven stages: needs analysis, planning, product development, expert validation, limited trials, product revision, and large-scale trials. The study subjects consisted of 12 students for limited trials and 31 students for large-scale trials at SMA Negeri 3 Kutacane. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, pronunciation tests (pretest-posttest), and expert validation. The results indicate that the Anchor-based podcast effectively improves students' pronunciation skills, with an average score increase from 62.5 (pretest) to 78.9 (posttest) in the limited trial and from 61.7 (pretest) to 80.4 (posttest) in the large-scale trial. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test (α = 0.05) confirmed this improvement as significant, with Cohen’s d effect sizes of 1.2 (limited trial) and 1.4 (large-scale trial), categorized as a large effect. Students and teachers responded positively to the podcast, with 75% of students finding it helpful and 90% of teachers agreeing on its effectiveness as a learning medium. However, some limitations, such as dependence on internet connectivity and overly long episode durations, need to be addressed. This study concludes that the Anchor-based podcast is a viable, cost-effective, and accessible pronunciation learning medium, contributing to the development of innovative English learning methods in the digital era.
